I turned the channel after the game was tied and just checked periody.. Besides not kicking the FG to take the points early in the 3rd, what other errors did Campbell make?
He chose to go for it on 4th down two
separate times when he should have kicked FG’s. That’s what cost them the game.

Based on the poll, only one forum member (who voted) was rooting for a Chiefs-49ers SuperBowl. Both teams that I was rooting for lost.
Me too! That’s the worst. When you’ve got no skin in the game since your own team didn’t make it and then you cheer for other teams only to be let down again! 😭

I still put this lions loss 100% on Dan Campbell big time

Game over Detroit! Your head coach screwed you over two times.

Why did he gamble there ?? Kick the damn field goal seriously

Whoa that was close!

Again, gotta know when to hold em and when to fold em, and Campbell blew it not kicking that FG, one simple play can change the trajectory in a matter of minutes.

Lions and tigers and bears and niners oh my! Lions and tigers and bears and niners oh my!
-
Oh my! Dropped a wide open pass lions oh my!

Coach took all the lions moment

And just like that it’s a tie ball game. Dan Campbell is great but man what a dumb dumb decision to not kick that FG

Now they fumbled and the momentum is
all in the niners side. Dumb decision to not
kick that FG
-
I would have kicked the FG if I was the lions, I think you should take the points especially when you are up

There was a member here who created a thread and wrote that he wished the Colts had hired Cambell, not Frank Reich. IIRC, everyone who replied thought he was wrong for wanting Campbell over Reich. I have not seen that member in a while.
I think most of us were pretty happy we got Reich after the fumble with McDaniels…but after years of our teams routinely showing up to games unprepared most of us soured pretty quickly after those first two years..

I’ll definitely be rooting for the lions if they make it.
If the Lions team that showed up today to play these niners shows up in 2 weeks to play the Chiefs then I absolutely say the Lions win it all!

24-7 going into the half! Way to go Lions!!!

I’d take the FG here IMO

It really is a sad and remarkable story…seems so unlikely that such a thing could happen. 3 of them at the same time and same place…just so sad.

Can they both lose? Lol! My wife is a chiefs fan and my brother in law is a 49ers fan. I would stay neutral.
Then you want the chiefs to win…cause if that’s your wife’s team and if your wife wins…hopefully you win too 😉

So if it’s the 49ers and Chiefs who have both won it before who do you pull for?
For me I usually pull for the team it’s been the longest time since winning one. So if it were the 49ers and chiefs I would want to see the niners win… same if it’s lions. Also, I just am tired of seeing the chiefs in it all the time…starting to annoy me like the pats, but not nearly as bad as I truly hated the pats and everything they stood for… but I do admit TB is the absolute GOAT.

Lions are rolling! 21-7, let’s go lions crush the 49ers so you can crush the chiefs!
-
Wow what a pass and catch that was tight as heck coverage! Go lions! This lions team today could be the chiefs for sure!
TD lions!

Just the commanders as the last franchise without a HC. Must be waiting for the Super Bowl to be over before announcing it.
