I think so. With that said, Pagano has forgotten more about football than we all know combined.

 

I think the easy thing is, we need to change that philosophy, but I would imagine this is easier said than done. Speaking of power running team... we have not been a power running team in almost 20 years. We are not built to be a power running team, so my conventional wisdom is... forget the whole idea.

Should he be fired... I really do not know. I think he is working with C talent, some fault to Grigson and some to Pagano.

 

My biggest complaint is that they never seem to make many halftime adjustments on defense. The short pass to the RB's was absolutely killing us. Why not put a spy on the RB coming out of the backfield in the 2nd half. Perhaps not the entire 2nd half, but on that last drive, you have to have someone spying ANYONE coming out of the backfield.

 

With that said, maybe we did not have anyone healthy that could cover the RB.. You dang sure need to try something different than leaving the RB uncovered.

His upside is nice... with that said, anytime Robert Mathis is the best pass rusher on your team, youa re in ALOT of trouble.

 

I know he is not thought too fond of, but Erik Walden looked far superior to Mathis yesterday.

I thought the passing offense looked great once we got into the hurry up. Offensive line played very well against a really good defensive front 7. Rushing offense looked mehhh... couple good runs, couple ugly ones.

 

Loved the WR's making plays.. TE's looked good too.

I want to say both at first initial reaction. However, I am leaning more towards firing Grigson.

 

In the end, I think both will be canned and we will hire Eric DeCosta and Sean Payton.

I thought he did a fine job. He made some mistakes, but he is a 7th round rookie.

 

He played alot better than I expected. I think our offensive line has the potential to be good. Couple of areas that need improvement, but I think the arrow is pointing in the right direction.
