Oh, no....
Our path to the Super Bowl is relevant because we officially are in the playoffs...as of this coming Sunday when Denver beats Tennessee.
WE are in with a home game..and we can beat KC
I have to disagree, the team we saw yesterday would have zero chance against KC.....but we will have to wait several weeks to see who is correct. I don't disagree that we are in the playoffs, though, the Titans have as much chance against the Broncs as we do versus KC.
-
In our current state, the path to the Super Bowl is not relevant, we wouldn't beat any other team that makes the playoffs. One and done, is mostly likely our future, unless something drastically changes.
-
We are going to march into Cincy and slaughter those hapless Bengals......
(looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue.)
I am not going to say we have no chance, but we don't have much of a chance unless things drastically change on offense in the next week. Field goals are not going to cut it. If we can somehow overcome those dreaded second and 6's which turn into 3 and 16, we might pull it off or at least be competitive. No more shooting ourselves in the foot, as we are out of feet.
Just like my daddy used to say.......................

Why.... Our defense played one of its best games of the season, and single handedly won us this game.
While they played well, they were not exactly facing an offensive juggernaut. The D we saw against Arizona provides a more accurate picture I think.
-
Mathis and Vaughn share it. The sack fumble derailed a potential score, as did Vaughn's two picks.
-
I enjoyed listening to Jersey Johnny where they listed the injured players from today, and an off handed remark was made that DHB had a chest injury from the ball....I spit my coffee all over the screen with that one.
-
A guy like DHB would be perfect for the Raiders, they miss him, I am certain of it.
-
his arm looked fine on the three passes to decker
Five TD's, pretty good for a tired arm. It's weird sometimes he can put some heat on the ball, and other times he lobs it (really lobs it). Still I am always amazed that most of the time, the ball is right where it needs to be.
-
We need more WR's. more targets. A better line.
Hilton & Fleener just aren't enough.
And the ball covered in Velcro, with the receivers wearing felt gloves.

Yes, Pep needs to go back to school, and let someone else take over as OC. Perhaps he can be of use to the Colts in the future at a higher capacity, but he seems to be in over his head. (to put it mildly) We have the next-coming of Peyton Manning behind center and how many TD's has he thrown in the last 5 games? How many three and outs? not good. not good at all.
-
Yes, they put some fairy dust that they received from one Kris Kringle in Reggie's torn acl and it is almost fully healed and should be stronger than every in 2 weeks.
Meister Berger Berger Meister intercepted the fairy dust......so we are back at square one.
-
I have the game on DVR, I may have to go back and watch Reggie again just for grins.

O'line was absolutely ponderous.
Da-Rick was used a little, no catches that I remember, but he out ran a DB and caused a 30 yard or so penalty when the DB grabbed his shirt to slow him down.
Defense was the only reason we won, (along with AV)
Oh, and DHB just dropped another pass......
-
I think the refs dropped the ball, had they taken time to review it, clearly it would have been reversed.
-
The KC DB got picked on the TD
I wish we could do that on a regular basis.

I matched Ralphie in A Christmas Story for curse words per second when DHB dropped that wide open pass around the 20 yard line. I have been very quiet lately, and I am a very optimistic Colts fan. I am usually an even keel person and rarely will anything get me upset. I admit that I was beyond PO'ed when DHB dropped that pass. He took at least 3 points off the board with that drop.
Get DHB Out Of The Game! I don't care what we have to do to save the Colts coaches from them selves, but someone needs to make sure DHB is not active for another game this season. I have seen enough, and like I pointed out before, this is coming from a very optimistic person and Colts fan. The DHB experiment has failed, and we need to move on immediately. There is no need to try and fix this situation with him, because the dude plain and simple could not catch a cold.
Jim Irsay, how about you spend a few less minutes tweeting this week and demand that DHB never be active for another Colts game again. If it means demanding he is cut tomorrow then it is what it is. We have to do something in the front office to save these coaches from them selves. If it walks like a duck, then guess what folks? It is a duck. DHB cannot catch a darn thing and he will only continue to drop big pass after big pass; week in and week out. Just cut his butt already and move on.
Merge this one and I will never post here again.
Surprising that this one was merged, yet the worthless thread about firing Vinnie is allowed to stand......

This is the best I've ever seen Alex Smith play, wow.
He's doing well.
-
Peyton's arm strength is really starting to show. (lack thereof anyway) 2nd INT.
-
Bench don't cut. He makes plays too.
He's not dependable. When he drops balls when he is alone in space, like today, his negatives far outweigh any positive play he makes.
-
Gabby Johnson is right. (not a jab, just trying to think of a way to say essentially the same thing....blazing saddle reference for you whippersnappers.)
DHB needs to go.
-
I'm reliving a nightmare. When we ditched Caldwell, I thought we wouldn't see a coach like that again. How wrong I was.
Amen.
-
Can we at least send DHB to the practice squad if we don't cut him? (might have to cut him first, but odds are he would clear waivers, and if he didn't.....oh well.)
Practice squad reference is for his punishment....cutting him would be too nice.
-
Good game by Vaughn, he probably is the catalyst for our win today.
-
Have a great week guys! See you next week, God willing.
How far will the Colts go?

Unfortunately some of us have to live in realityville. One and done.
