Make him a Colt, guys!
He filled in at safety for the Ravens last season, and did a strong job in coverage. Got 365 snaps last year, was only targeted 10 times and gave up 4 catches, had a pick, and a passer rating against of 27.1. Plays special teams, too. Great size, can't have any real demand...
Sounds like he could make a lot of us feel better about our Safety position. Any other insights? Not that I need anymore. If Superman says go get him then I'm on board.

My thoughts exactly. That's a lot if you don't plan to let this guy see the field aside from injury.

Something fishy here. Rainy has a history of bad decisions so with Ballard going down and the KR job apparently still wide open, this screams to me he got himself in trouble again.

While I think changing the name is a good idea, I tend to think that cancelling trademarks is a bit of an overstep on the part of the government.
Is there precedent for this kind of behavior on their part?

The suspension of Mathis may be a positive both this year and for the future. Short term, I believe that Mathis only being able to play 12 regular season games will help to keep his legs "fresh" for the post season. Long term, this will allow Grigs to assess the team"s long term replacements for Mathis.

I don't hate this idea. Especially for a 5th......If we were able to get that high of a pick for him. I do wonder what it would do to us for next year.

I hope something's announced soon. I feel like it was said earlier in the offseason last year, but I figured it may have something to do with Irsays situation. Making the trip from Ontario again!
I'm almost positive it was mentioned much earlier last year. I had it on my calendar for a couple months when I was hoping to go.
