  1. Lots of No, but no explainations on why. I find this curious.

Under the right circumstances, I'd be all for it. Vet Min, or close to.

Couldn't hurt the team, so why not bring him in.

    For a little comparison:

    Chad: 166Games, 766 Rec, 11059yds, 67TD

    Reggie:173games, 862rec, 11708yds, 73TD

That is what I'm saying NO and no reason why. He would fit because the slate is clean. new system. New team. It would be like the first day of school. You cant wait to show off your cloths.
  2. Pass. A crybaby Prima donna Who will complain about not getting the ball enough. That is exactly what andrew luck will need for his development.

Chad was never a cry baby. Chad and Palmer had that kind of relationship. When he was with the Pats he wasn't a cry baby he stayed out of the news. So with that being said I believe that would contine with the Colts because he would be one of the guy the young players can look up to.
  3. I'm with you Lebron, can you see it Reggie, Chad and Collie or Avery in the slot. Crazy and Fleener at TE. There are not enough DB's on the field to cover. Someone will be open. It would just depend on Mr Luck to find them. The line looks as it is going to beast, so I would see that as being TOOOOUUUCCCHHHDDDOOOWWWNNN Colts

  4. .................Colts dominated a good Bear's defense on the ground in 06 Super Bowl...over 180 yds I think the year after Edge left....seems like some people think if you don't have a workhorse back who gets 120 yds at least 12 games a year and over 1500 total...you don't have a run game...I don't believe that......

I believe the problem with the Colts running game was the blocking more then the backs. When Edge was with the Colts the Colts ran more the offense was a little more balanced. When edge left that went away, because the line changed, Glenn gone, Scott gone they were the anchors of that line.
  5. If he would sign a 1 year for vet min, why not? He would be worth it just for the entertainment factor, and he is a really nice guy. I mean that man buys dinner for random people at the city hes playing in.

I'm with you on the league min. Chad still has some in the tank. He didn't really play in NE, because they were stocked with proven guys. The Colts have one proven guy Reggie not knocking Collie but he has been in the training room a bit , Avery rehab knee. Putting Chad in the mix will give the receving crop field credit.
  6. I hear everyone but he is still a good receiver as someone stated earlier. With Chad on one side and Reggie on the other it would open the slot up; for Collie and Avery. That is asking alot for a defense to cover. It would be like Marvin and Reggie again. I know Chad is no Marvin but he demands that respect.

  7. When the Colts switch to the power running game. Brown will be the starter. carter as the fullback because he has shown he has power just needs to protect the ball. Brown isnt a every down back but he can carry the load. The running game will look like Baltimore running game with Jamal Lewis back in the day. Brown is going to be the starter. The only way that won't happen is if he breaks a leg our just does not show-up. Brown is capable but there has to be a back that can spell him from time to time. Go colts.

  8. The MLB in a 3-4 defense needs to be able to fill two gaps also. The MLB has to read a react. I feel Pat can handle it, it is something he will have to get use to. Lets remember this is a new system for the team, but it isnt new to all of the defensive players. alot of them have played 3-4 in college but in the pros the calls are different and the schemes are to. But it is football, 11 line up on one side and 11 on another. I feel this defense will surprise alot of people. Pat has shown he can read the gaps in a few games last year. If the Colts have a good core of LB The 3-4 will work for the Colts. The problem for me is freeney and mathis in pass coverage, they both are great players. But going from your hand in the dirt to LB is a transition, Going into pass drops is what is concerning me. Go Colts.

  9. I feel Hughes will make it happen in this new 3-4 scheme. I feel he has the speed to cover backs out of the backfield and the size to make a impact. In the old system he got swallowed up because he didnt have the hand skills to get blockers off of him. I feel big things will come from Hughes this year. Go Colts.

  10. Bowe for Wayne and Freeney. Really that makes no sense at all, Bowe is a good receiver but we would be giving up the farm. Wayne and Freeney are up in age but they are still valuable players. That would be a RE RE move.

  11. You think Lefeged will start? I think Tommy Z. is the guy there.

There brought Tommy Z in to shore up that position. Lefeged will be a back up. Bethea and Tommy Z. If they gel. I see them being soild. Lets remember Tommy Z comes from a 3-4 system. He can be a teacher on the practice field. I dont see a problem at the safety position.
  12. i personally still call Kevin Thomas and Rucker rookies because this is their first fair shot to prove what they go to bring to the table..instead of getting thrown into the fire at the end of last season just give them a chance to prove theyself before you crucify them lol

I feel good about Thomas. When he got in to play he showed some signs. A full OTA and training camp will help him. If he stays healthy he will be fine. Rucker I don't know seemed lost when he was on the field.
  13. People, People, People. The Bears are not the Juggernauts of the NFL. Cutler is a sub-par QB, Marshall has health issues, Forte has health issues also. Hester is a flash in the pan player. The Bears line does not pass block. The Colts still have Freeney and Mathis and Angerer. If the Colts Defense can maintain the Colts will win. Yes the Bears have Urlacher, and Briggs that is it. The Colts can pull it off. Go Colts.

  14. If the Colts pick RG 3 . It will still be a win, win because we don't really know the system the Colts will be bringing next year. I have watch some Baylor games and RG3 does stay in the pocket, it is just al of the highlights that are shown are of him running. RG3 and Luck ran pro style systems, RG3 just operated out of the shotgun more. Both of these QB's would fit with the Colts because the team is in a transition. With that being said RG3 our Luck will be running a new team so they will be in control of there team not Peytons old team. That is why I say it will be a win, win. But I believe the front office is going to chose Luck. Win, Win. Go Colts.

  15. Very good point. Ben was really close with Arians; I wonder if Batch was as well. Could see that being a great fit.

I like Batch and I believe he could come in and really help. Batch is a leader in the huddle. When Ben goes down Batch steps right in and the team doesn't miss a beat. The age is the sticking point for me. There are alot of veteran QB's out there. I feel this issue will be addressed after the draft. No worries.
  16. No great loss. You all have said it, sub par hands, average speed. I like him but this is one I'm not mad to see go. He can be replaced by anyone. I hope he isnt thinking he is going to get #1 money. Pierre you need to get a reality check stay where you know you are going to get the ball our drop it. Go Colts.
