  1. Allen by a mile. He's more of an all round tight end and has better hands.

Fleener has the potential to create many mismatches with his size and speed. But going over the middle i'd prefer Allen.

Plus if we still chose to go by the "power run" label, Allen is so much better because of his blocking ability. I'm happy we decided to go for 2 TE's in 2012. Both of them have the potential to get to the ability that Hernandez and Gronkowski should have had.

  2. It's a bit early but I think i'm going to predict how every team finishes in the nfl (not records but just positions) and Playoff teams will be in bold. The team underlined is the 7th playoff team, if they decide to do that rule.

  3. I love this signing! Can see him being an impact signing. Don't care if he's undersized, he plays with speed and power which is the most important think. So long as he doesn't do a Bob Sanders I think we have a winner!

I'm being very optimistic about this and think him and Freeman within 3 years can be as good as Willis and Bowman are now.

Imagine if for starting linebackers in a few years time Adongo/Muamba/Freeman/McNary. All UDFA's and it could actually happen

  4. Team MVP: Robert Mathis - He was the only player on D that had a pro bowl caliber year (with maybe the exception of Freeman) and pretty much carried our entire defense. He was also the catalyst for a majority of our comeback games as well imo.

Offensive Player of the Year: Andrew Luck - Dug our way out of many games. Only Robert Mathis could say the same thing imo.

Defensive Player of the Year: Robert Mathis - see mvp. Plus he should have got nfl dpoy imo.

Outstanding Leadership Award: Reggie Wayne - Practically mentored every single young wide receiver we have. Later in year players like Brazill/Hilton/Whalen turned in to a good WR core, and that was probably due to his leadership.

Best Game Award: Chiefs - Only game what made me run around my house like a mad man.

Most Improved Player: Donald Brown - Changed my opinion of him this season. At start i thought he was a bust and hoped we got rid of him at end of year. Now i want him to stay. Would be very good in a rotation with the other rb's.

Best Acquisition (Draftee/FA): Godser Cherilus - Significant improvement over Winston Justice.

Biggest Surprise Player: Lavon Brazill - Didn't think much to him tbh, but he was actually quite good when Wayne went down.

Breakout Player of the Year: T Y Hilton - Was fantastic this year. Plain and simple.

Costliest Injury: Vick Ballard - Think the Run game would have been a lot better had he not gone down injured. Think he's best RB on roster. Could have put Thomas in this spot but I think running back was a major problem this year.

Biggest disappointment: Laron Landry - Adding my own little one here but I think Landry has been a big disapointment. Didn't want him here last year, wanted Ed Reed instead. Tbh I'm glad that we didn't go for him but I think Landry is over rated. Not as good a tackler as i thought he'd be, a liability in coverage and injury prone. Hope we keep Bethea and then draft a good coverage safety in later rounds. Hope next season he proves me wrong but i really don't rate him anymore.

    That's my go anyway!

  5. There is hope since Cleveland will have a new coach, and the current front office didn't draft Mack.  Those things together make a player like Mack hitting FA a little more likely, but I would be surprised (pleasantly) if Mack went to FA. The Redskins will have plenty of cap space for Orakpo....but again, new coach in D.C. so you never know.  Same with Verner in Tennessee.

Yeah thats true. Any of them 3 could join us, maybe even all 3. Who knows?

  6. Mack would be great, but lets be honest a team like Cleveland (talent starved with a massive cap room) wouldn't let one of their top players leave.

Verner would be a good signing imo but the best one is Orakpo. Don't know what the Redskins cap space is like now but it was terrible a while back. Plus Pagano in the pro bowl would be an audition for Orakpo

  7. I am really looking forward to this pro bowl. Think this draft was a really good idea. Think i'm going with Team Sanders! Shame Mathis is on Rice's.

And i'm curious of how Pagano will use Luck and Newton? 2 of my favorite nfl QB's on the same team.

  8. I don't think he's an embarrassment at all. Guy is one of my favorite players.

He reminds me of a younger, better version of Cortland Finnegan. On the outside you can see that he's a loudmouth jerk who loves to antagonise other players when there is no need but if you see Finnegan's E60 you'd find out he's actually quite a nice guy. Same thing applies to Sherman. Sure he may have people who hate him because of his playing style but he uses that as motivation to make him better, I do the exact same thing when i play sports so i know where he's coming from with it.

Plus on a whole a majority of controversial things he says he can back up with his performance which imo makes it alright for him saying it.

Imo I think Sherman should keep his attitude as long as he can still perform to a high standard which he probably will for the next 7/8 years.

  9. I want a new rivalry for us  :sigh:

Same here, might sound daft but I think provided they get a good QB (that isn't named Manzeil) I can see our next big rivalry being the Browns. Just my feeling anyway.

And I do think that Wilson/Kaep are the next Manning/Brady not as good as them 2 but rivalry wise you could definitely draw comparisons.
