Thomas DeCoud FS from ATL to be released.
-
$14 guaranteed.
-
Washington would always win free agency by big contract standards.
-
$5.3 million total for Pat and Adam this and next year.
-
"Browns agreed to terms with ILB Karlos Dansby on a four-year, $24 million contract."
Per Rotoword.
-
Mitchell's pretty good in coverage.
Keep in mind he had a great front 7 to work with too. Who knows, I just don't see him being worth $5 million annually.
-
Stevie Brown's off the market. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mike Mitchell or Kendrick Lewis signed. I really want Clemons, but Mitchell would be ok.
Mitchell is similar to Landry though.
-
This could get interesting.
-
Hopefully nothing guaranteed.
-
Like i said on another thread, I think we might go for Miamis Clemons as FS option. Just a hunch, no source.
He would be a good option as a cover safety, but for some reason I see him going to the Jets to compliment their Landry.
-
Would have loved to have him in Indy. Always liked how he played back in Jacksonville.
-
Brown and Greene... I like Donald, but Vic Ballard and Trent Richardson will be like a two man wrecking ball with a decent line in front of them Bradshaw showed he had some skills left too.
No Miley Cyrus jokes.
Trent better stop dancing in that backfield then and get his wrecking ball on.

Off-Topic and don't feel like starting a thread about it, but has anyone heard about Toler's groin? I know that sounds bad.
-
He fits what Lovie Smith likes to do with their ends.
-
Could be had cheaper then. Worst case could be champ and back up and another tide alum
I would expect his market is rather low because of the multidude of issues he's had: weight/performance/motivation.
-
I would expect Brown goes to TENN, with CJ1K getting cut. Him and Greene would be their 1-2 punch lol
-
I know this isn't the right thread, but there are so many that I am too lazy to search. But, Ravens are going after what many hope would be our next starting center, Alex Mack.
-
i am wondering if Cody at NT might be our next pick up from there.
He's been underwhelming thus far in his career, but maybe Pagano and company can light a fire under him.
-
Our plan to slowly steal the Ravens from Baltimore too is slowly coming together...
That's a joke.
Can we get Jimmy Smith and LaDarius Webb while we are at it?
-
Yes, but the problem is, signing one CB to $16 million non-guaranteed, ends up essentially being guaranteed as far as our cap is concerned. So if we keep him, yeah, he earns the contract, but it takes away from other positions in which we would want to add quality starters. $16 million is too much for any non-QB. The Bucs are practically admitting as much by cutting him 1 year into the deal.
I get that, but with the cap space we have and could have had...it certainly puts us in the title hunt. It'll be a moot point when he's released and he'll sign for likely $40+ guaranteed.
-
And with the same fingers you type complaints about a non-guaranteed RFA tender of $1.4m for rotational players, and vetch about < $3m/year for a veteran punter...
Can't take you seriously.
If you honest to God, believe paying that much for a punter is smart money. Then there is no reason to argue lol.
-
I think you're confusing the difference between guaranteed and cap hit...
We have $36 million right now roughly, it can easily be fit into our budget. Even more so if we don't sign a DQ or McAfee.
-
Maybe, maybe not, but that's only mildly relevant. Drewbacca already said he'd be fine with paying Revis $16m.
Considering it's not guaranteed. It's worth the risk.

None of us even have xp when negotiating NFL contracts so what's the deal with anyone commenting about Free Agency besides their wishlist?
Besides dealing with contracts everyday, some people do have a good insight on how these type of things work,

Doubt we are on EDS, since we drafted Holmes.
