  1. IMO this would be the ideal situation that is realistic. I know some people want a rb in the later rounds but if Coleman dropped to us at 61 I think we would be dumb to not pick him up. To me he is the clear #3 rb of the draft. GOldman is my pick at #1 but if a top cb fell it would be a tough choice. But I'd love this if it happened.

  2. This is a really good draft. Campbell has been on the rise recently. I'd plug in Amos in the 4th and forgo a rb in the 5th and pick up Geathers additionally. Without drafting a rb I'd look into bringing back Bradshaw to split carries with Gore and have Herron replace Bradshaw when he eventually get injured.  I'd also rather have Dexter McDonald late if he's available. But overall a good mock and would fill a lot of holes.

  3. Collins may or may not be overrated but I'd rather take a safety in the mid rounds. Amos is the 4th and/or Geathers in the 5th would fill our needs at safety. I'm starting to agree that a cb in the first might be best. I'm not sure between Eddie Goldman or let's say Jalen Collins if either of them are available. I'm also split between a rb in the second or a ilb. If Paul Dawson is available when we pick in the second I think he'd be a great addition.

  4. I think Kendricks is someone who would be to good to pass on if he were available. I think he would work in and maybe eventually start. Freeman was a beast for two years. Last year was a down year. But I would also really hope we can draft Goldman. I think Goldman would start day 1 and give us the most playmaking in year 1. Cornerback is a big need as well though. I wouldn't be surprised or upset if we went cb in the first. I'd prefer we grab someone in the third though like Charles Gaines. I think we could also have a safety come in and start eventually this season and we could get that safety in the 4th or 6th.

  5. So to me there are arguably 6 to 8 rbs that are at the top of the rb draft class. Gordon and Gurley are most likely going to be drafted in the 1st. I think 2 or 3 backs will go in the 2nd before us. I don't trust T.j. Yeldon myself and there's something about there is something about David Johnson I don't like. Any one of Tevin Coleman, Ameer Abdullah, Duke Johnson, or Jay Ajayi to me would be a good pick. To get one of those we will have to give up a second round pick. If we can't get one of them them I think we should hold off on a rb til the late rounds and grab someone like Trey Williams and go all defense with maybe a o linemen for depth.

  6. I also wouldn't mind Carl Davis in the first. I know it might be a little of a reach but he fills a position of need. I would like Henry Anderson but I'd rather us take rb in the second and let him learn behind Gore. A couple of the rbs that could be available could be our future at rb. I wouldn't mind a mid to late round pick on some o line for depth. The more I think about it the more I think  we also need a good cb in the mid rounds for depth. Definitely need 1 starting safety out of the draft as well. Harris could be that guy but I also don't think he'd be there in the 4th. Adrian Amos could be a guy available at that pick.

  7. A lot of the mocks i see have smith and shaw going later. I'd love hardison or Henry Anderson in the 4th but both seem to be rising. I think we should add the rb of the future in the second. Move Smith to the third though I'd rather have Tartt if he is available, grab the best rb available in the second, best de in the fourth and Adrian amos is the fifth. Then we can add depth for where ever with the remaining 4 picks.

  8. You gotta remember, I'm doing this on Firstpick, a site with computer simulated software. Ryan Pace didn't call me and ask to trade up 10 spots for a 2nd and 3rd, it was my pick and a computer representing the Bears offered me the trade to move up and take Brett Hundley and I took it. Also trades don't have to be extremely even. If a team wants a solid player, that will pay a little. It has happened before and it will happen again. You are overthinking this. I didn't just write down picks at certain rounds and make up a trade, I did a simulated draft with 31 other teams represented by computers and one offered me a trade. This is based off of 32 teams picking players one at a time, not me just writing players down.

Ahh I was not aware you were doing this on a site.

  9. I don't think 4 of the top 5 picks will be there at those spots, Tartt being the only one. Also like other people mentioned theres no need for the bears to trade us their 2nd and 3rd. The value doesn't add up. And they would probably try trading ahead of another team that would take a qb. Why trade with us when a team that will take a qb is back further? They would want to be right ahead of that team.
