If we are going to overpay then I feel 4 things at the very least should be required

 

1.Player must 30 or younger (I dont want it to be any short term overpaid deals)

2.Must have a history of production and not just 1 year 

3.He must not have any history of drama and if he does it must clearly be behind him and he must show he has matured ALOT since then

4.The signing must add a dimension to the team that was not there before

 

Based on the criteria above I'd go with Laron Landry or William

Obviously we need lineman to be good at both run blocking and pass blocking, but they should be run blockers first.  WCO should allow for mostly quick passes.  That and a good run game will allow us to keep defenses off balance and then take our shots down field

Highly unlikely he'll go to Dallas. They are already 18 million over the cap and have several guys they need to take care of.

I like Rhodes.  Jesse WIlliams if Rhodes is not available.  I think we'll fix most of the line in FA.  Rhodes is a no brainer.  Williams could slide out from NT to DE opposite Redding.  Those two and Chapman will be a sick trio.

I believe Chapman will start at NT.  Coaches are high on him.  Heard he was tossing guys around in his short time at practice.  I also believe Ballard will start and Brown will be a change of pace.  Although, I'd like to see Carter get the rock more.
