Anybody that's a Manning fan foUnd the Broncos fan forum? Is it OrangeMane....

As much as I wanted Peyton on the 49ers, I think Denver was the second best fit. They have a weakness on the line at center, guess who is going to fill that void? They need a veteran TE, guess who is going to fill that void? They have a great pass rushing D, clearly last year they had to play a different style of D with Tebow. They couldn't pin their ears back and tell Dumervill, Ayers, and Miller happy hunting. With manning, that pass rush will be ferocious! Fox is letting Manning control the Offense, and he and del rio will concentrate on D! They have 30+ million of cap room, to get other pieces. Like many have said Elway and manning will be able to talk through all scenarios. 49ers were a great fit from the eye test and on paper, but Harbaugh told Manning he wouldn't have full reign over the offense... That was probably a deal breaker for Peyton.

I don't know.
1) The Broncos would prefer the media wasn't there.
2) PM would want the media there to drive up his value, if he thinks he can perform adequately.
3) PM would not want the media there, if he thinks he cannot perform adequately.
In any case, the Broncos have no control in this matter. If PM is working out at Duke, he controls who comes to watch.
The media being there or not has nothing to do with Manning trying to increase market value. Your now a Peyton Manning expert too apparently.

They are nothing more than a one and done playoff team with Manning. They need serious Defensive Help. Two DTs one DE, WLB, CB, SS..

Denver is strong on the outside, DEs OLBs and CB, they need to get strong down the middle, MLB, S, NT... And a few replacement corners to eventually take over. I think they compliment Manning well all around, and would get Mike Wallace if I were them and add Tulloch, Otogwae, and at least ine new DT. They would be deadly.

The reason that Peyton has 1 SB is largely attributed to not having a balanced team! So it's not crazy to say titans aren't a fit because of a lack of D, that's more of a reason to suggest that! Why go to a team with similar problems? Improve your chances my upgrading and making vertical moves not moving laterally!!!

Tennessee is very far off from being a Championship quality team. They have a bad defense. There are better places he could go.

Guys thus is an NFL general section, he is a Peyton Manning Fan. Guess what, there are plenty more where we came from. Peyton is my favorite player, so I too will follow him. It happens, it happened with people and Michael Jordan. On a serious note I hope it's somewhere he can win and that's not Tennessee!

They haven even went after anyone in free agency, with 45 million cap room..

That is laughable ! Kind of like the kettle calling the skillet black ,Peyton for the most part played all his Colt years with a less than stellar defense. Average at best.
I would call it below average that he had in Indy. You must be some laughable Titan fan.

While I agree Tennessee has a stout OLine, some solid pieces on offense, Britt, CJ2K, Washington, and the young TE.. Their D is horrible at best and lost their two best players.

Tennessee is losing their best CB, their best DT, and doesn't have the cap room to strengthen the D.. There is not much there to work with right now on D. The offense is ok..

I said the same thing and a member who I won't name said I lacked knowledge and the titans wouldn't even look at him. Funny cause the guy who said I lacked knowledge said texans 49ers or ravens
. Anyways I think PM would be good for either titans or broncos. If he goes to the titans locker can learn from pm for a few years. The broncos are a qb away from being a real super bowl contender so I think that would be best for him. You guys think if he goes to the titans it could hurt his legacy as a colt much like Favre going to the Vikings??
I said that because obviously they are the three best places he could play and win. Can't win in Tennessee..

They have good DE's (dumervil and ayers)and good OLBs (miller and Williams) they lack in the middle of the field. S, NT, MLB. I would prefer Lofton over Brackett, I like his game, and a good FS would help too. Denver needs to get strong down the middle of the field. And youthenized at CB.

If I was Elway I would offer to bring in FS, NT, MLB.. I would target the following
FS: OJ Atogwe, or Landry to play SS, Dawkins resigned for FS. Realistically the could afford both.
NT: Paul Soliai (rumored interest)
MLB: Curtis Lofton or Grant SF
I would get Manning, Clarke, Saturday, and trade my first pick for Mike Wallace
They would be unreal good...

The Broncos need a run stuffing MLB not a coverage backer. Von Miller and DJ Williams are great outside linebackers. Gary Brackett sucks, they should pursue Lofton or Grant from San Fran. I like Grant but he will never eclipse Biwman or Willis. Some team will benefit from him. They also need a NT and safety. And another offensive playmaker on the outside. They could get Soliai NT, Atogwe FS, Grant MLB, and go get Mike Wallace!

My point was to state the apple doesn't fall to far from the tree with father and son. Both are notorious for making mistakes. I didn't mention Baltimore history to get in a debate but to merely state, fans came to cheer for the Colts again or for the first time because of Manning.
