  1. He's out of control....

That kinds guy tears your team down from the inside the minute things go wrong..

....His teammates want to punch him but they cant

I don't think he's out of control he's simply passionate ...how would you feel watching Calvin Johnson continuously demolish your team on def and yet you're about as dynamic as him and you rarely get targeted throughout the game..he obv takes it seriously and with the cowboys being passive surely hasn't worked..and once he yelled he scored on a 50 yard td

  2. Trent likes to run up the middle..the thing is the middle of the line is where he is by the time he grabs the ball..yet ppl get mad because he's turning negative yardage plays into 2-3 yard gains..I mean it's pretty darn obvious what's happening when he's on the field just look..dhb is on the field but no one certainly cares about him catching so they know he's blocking..Hilton's not in so you know they aren't going deep..or there's Reggie who is going to be focused on just incase of pa because he's the number one.. Goal line formations at our 20 on a first down is not the key to success..I'd rather see us run draws at least there won't be 90% of the players on the field focusing on Trent when he takes a handoff.

  3. This shouldn't be a challenge.

Raiders offense doesn't scare me. McFadden is in shambles and Pryor is a unproven quarterback with almost no targets to throw it too. Plus they have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL.

They have Charles Woodson and Pats Sims, two of their best playmakers on defense, but not enough to stop Luck and the gang.

Colts are at home. I think Colts win 35-9.

Ehh I don't believe Charles Woodson is much of a playmaker anymore just revisit the our game vs the packets last year Reggie owned Woodson..

  4. I think everyone seems to misunderstand how different the read option works in certain offenses..for example cam newton's read option isn't quite effective due to the formation..because of the pistol formation rg3 has more effectiveness..read options only work great given the formation..give rg3 the panther's standard formation for the read option and I doubt he'd last given the fact he wouldn't have as much space to run nor the time to pass..but give newton the pistol formation he'd look much like rg3 did or better.

  5. rg3 gets a lot of credit even though Alfred morris helped him out a lot. I'm sure 80% of his snaps were in the pistol offense without being in that formation I doubt he'd look so good. his completion percentage was only good and accurate because the run game made it easy to play action if he had no run game how good would he produce fully being asked to do more.

  6. That's in Washington. I saw a few of his games last year in NY. He does go for big hits without wrapping up sometimes. But when you get 100+ tackles, you gotta be using form & technique at some point. And with Pagano as his coach, he'll teach him to wrap up even more. We got ourselves a deadly weapon in that secondary now

whether he wraps or not once he makes that one big hit receivers will not risk going for that ball. I agree we have a deadly weapon now bethea can just stay midfield and not have to play both positions at once lol.

  7. Ok guys, I've just been so excited about our roster this year, so I'm gonna go through what I think our depth chart will be, and give a little opinion as well, so lets get started!

Qb- do I really need to say anything? Luck is the best young qb in the game and will thrive under pep hamiltons west coast principles. Hamilton will utilize fleener and Allen more effectively than in Arians ooffense, and adding another threat in dhb to luck's arsenal may sneak luck into the elite conversation by season's end.

Rb- we are not particularly stacked at this position, but were not starving either. Vick Ballard showed some promise last season while running behind a very sketchy o-line, and adding FB Stanley havili will only help. If healthy, Donald brown could also thrive in the new offense.

Wr- wide receiver is one of the colts better positions. Reggie Wayne is getting older, but showed last season that he can still play with the best of them. Look for him to have another 1200+ yard season. T.Y. Hilton really impressed me last season, leading all rookies in every major receiving category. He did drop a few balls, but that's expected from a rookie. That being said, he will have another good year. Darrius heyward-bey, The latest receiver to be added to the team, does have some question marks, but I believe he will turn over a new leaf in Indianapolis. Lets face it, Oakland is where talent goes to die.

TE- the colts couldn't be in a better situation here, two very young, very talented guys in fleener and Allen who both showed promise last season. Look for fleener to have a break out year in hamilton's offense, and look for Allen to continue to be a very good run blocker, as well as a viable receiving threat.

OL- this is a tough one. The worst offensive line in the league last season arguably belonged to the colts. However, Some of the free agent signings instantly upgraded the right tackle and guard positions. Gosder cherilus is a very underrated right tackle who only gave up 4 sacks last season in detroits pass-happy offense. That's one every four games on a team that throws the ball 50 times a game. Pretty good if you ask me. Donald Thomas played as a backup in New England last season, but started 7 games at guard as well. I know that pays fans are sad to see him go, so that's always good news. As for castonzo, he needs to work on pass blocking a tad more, but showed that he was a very good run blocker last season.

DL- this will definitely be the group with the most competition come training camp, and competition creates motivation. Motivation translates into winning. The signing of Ricky jean Francois brings some versatility to the line, as he played all three positions on the 3-4 line last season in San Francisco, but will most likely be a DE. At the nose tackle position, I'm still waiting to see what chapman can do. Hopefully he comes back this season 100% healthy and ready to go. We just have so much depth on the line, redding, moala, Nevis, McKinney... This will allow us to evaluate every player throughout the offseason and choose who the starters will be, and whoever they will be, I'm confident that they will hold their own.

ILB- jerrell freeman was a beast last year, constantly in on every play and flying around the field making plays. He was definitely our best ilb last season, and one of the better ones In the nfl. Conner and angerer were good last season, particularly Conner, who played with a lot of intensity. I just don't think angerer fits too well in the 3-4, but I guess we will see.

OLB- we still have Robert Mathis, who can still get to the qb and disrupt plays in the backfield, one more offseason working and practicing in the 3-4 will only help more. I'm still iffy on Jerry Hughes, he showed some promise last season, but I don't think he's freeney's or Mathis eventual replacement. He's just not that good. As for walden, people forget that grigson brought in walden to set the edge, not to be a pass rush specialist. I've watched what I could of walden and from what I can tell, he has a very high motor and plays the run very well. It's time to start focusing more on the run, and that's what grigson is doing.

I did a write up of the secondary in another thread, feel free to read it. But we have a very strong roster for this season. Get excited people!!!

Love it all except that angerer doesn't fit he wasn't healthy enough his foot was causing him issues but if you look at the year before when he was healthy he's basically identical to freeman when you speak of flying around or taking down the ball carrier :)

  8. That play where he speared that Cowboys WR was an example of how hard his wrap up hits are

lol yes but I'm sure 7/10 of his highlights will show him clearly looking for and making a big hit strictly leading with the shoulder not really wrapping. overall I hope he does make that big hit on someone cause I bet they won't try and catch it again while he's in the area.

  9. This. Sanders BODY itself wasn't fit for his style of play. Landry is taller and a little more disciplined in his tackling. Plus an achilles injury does not make a man injury prone.

I agree but landry does not really wrap which is why he was described as "hit or miss" by others. I think he'll be healthy. though shouldn't call him injury prone since the skins field isn't very ideal for playing just ask rg3.

  10. Dustin, I respect you and what you have to say, but Mathis will never even be in the conversation for the HOF.

question why wouldn't he be in conversation to be in the HOF? he's not far off from freeney at all and has played one year less

Freeney- 260 tackles 107.5 sacks 44 forced fumbles

Mathis- 334 tackles 91.5 sacks 40 forced fumbles 1 interception

over a one year span Mathis has 74 more tackles 15 less sacks 4 less fumbles forced fumbles and 1 interception

I believe he could be a HOF I mean mathis hasn't put up all the sack numbers like Freeney but he's an all around player when mathis wasn't playing this year did Freeney get any sacks? I'm pretty sure mathis got his when Freeney was gone and when he returned he deserves it just as much

  11. Brady is a baby throwing a fit. It's a business and not about him !

if these are truly Brady words he has a right to be upset..he could have very well made more money but restructured it possibly thinking they'd bring back welker which they didn't but hey now he had a younger version who is a bit injury prone with average hands I see amendola over 1k yards receiving this upcoming season
