we would have around 43 million. with that, we could get levitre, vasquez, spencer or kruger. then in the draft, its almost certain that we either get: Margus Hunt, Xavier Rhodes, Johnthan Banks. then.... we'll be holding the lombardi.
-
i want one of these 3 guys: xavier rhodes, MARGUS HUNT, johnthan banks.

wouldn't the league thank vontae for catching the chiefs in tampering? ( assuming that they really did tamper)

I don't know if anyone saw this article on NFL.com. 9 NFL.com writers were asked what quarterback they would take to build a franchise, here are the votes:
Andrew Luck: 3
Aaron Rodgers: 3
RG3: 1
Wilson:1
JJ Watt: 1 -There is always that ignorant person with an ignorant pick...

the article didn't mention that it had to be a QB. it just said who would u build ur team around.
-
I personally don't think Watt is that good...
If he were good, he would have figured out how not to get blown by the Patriots twice in a year...
AP is good, but no team with the best runningback ever wins a Super Bowl (aka Barry Sanders, LaDanian Tomlison)

ok... first of all. no matter how spectacular you play as an individual ( especially if ur a D line man) if the rest of your team edit their pants, ur gonna lose. those games were not JJ's fault. If JJ watt isn't good, then nobody's good.

my ideal secondary:
2 starting CB: vontae davis and jonathan banks
nickel: Darius butler
dime: powers
FS: Antoine bethea
SS: LaRon Landry

i dont think it specifies the years, but vasquez wants at least 6 million a year. which is very reasonable.

so if we decide to pay him.... 7 mil a year, for four years, he would get 28mil/4 years.
-
How much is he expected to make if he hits the free market? Please use a number over years, like 40m/4years.

I don'y buy into the WR Depth. I'm not saying we need a big name FA WR, but Outside of Reggie and T.Y. I'm not sold on our corps.

i think lavon brazill can be really good. we just signed jeremy kelley who is 6'6, so if he comes on... watch out. as for right now, you are right. we only have 2 proven players at the receiver spot. But i think we have some hidden gems at that position.
-
i'm looking forward to see johnthan banks. i think he's the guy we need to draft in the first round. but i really want to see him put on some weight. maybe get to the 200's. even though he's skinny, the guy isn't little. he's 6,2 but plays even taller than that.
-
those off field issues with tyraan can be fixed with the right coach and locker room. our coach is amazing and our locker room is always great. tyraan will have no choice but to shut up. i would take him in the 6th. and i would consider that a steal.
-
any thoughts on drafting tyraan mathieu?
-
so... what do you guys think about drafting tyraan mathieu. personally i would love it if we drafted this guy. i just saw some highlights on him and he plays like a MONSTER. but there is risk since he didn't play the 2012 season.
-
sanders would have made our defense unstoppable. we would have had arguably the best safety tandem in the nfl. add that with darius butler and vontae davis and we could've rivaled even the seahawks secondary.
-
great. now at least we have 1 O-lineman who belongs in the NFL.
-
i remember in the game against the ravens, they threw 2 passes early on against him, one was deflected and the other was a dropped INT. after that, davis and who ever he was covering disappeared.
-
why are we all forgetting the guy who had the most picks on our team last year. DARIUS BUTLER. i think he should be our #2.
-
we cant judge him just yet. after what i saw in the last 2 reg season games and the WC game, i have REALLY high expectations for him this upcoming season. If he can get 60 tackles, 6-8 INT's and 20-30 pass deflections in 2013-2014, then this conversation is over.
-
the only 32 year old safety i know of who was released was bills safety george wilson. if we got him, i think its a major upgrade. He was a team captain and has been doing pretty well these past seasons.
-
then it makes sense. now i think the best option is to go after william moore. then in the draft take O and D linemen
-
the thing is, we wont use our first round pick on secondary, and after our 1st rounder, we don't pop up until the end of the 3rd round. by then , those guys will be gone. william moore would be nice, but if we don't get him, i woujld go for GW.
-
sorry guys, im new to this website ( fairly new) and i dont know how to make my own forum, so this is gonna be a bit off topic: i just saw on nfl.com that saftey george wilson of the bills was released. i know we have a huge need at SS. wilson has had multiple seasons over 100 tackles, and multiple INTs but is coming off of a pretty bad year. should we consider signing him?
-
replace Xavier rhodes with vontae davis. and manti teo with pat angerer.
