  1. guys. no matter what you say about toler, he's never really "lost", he plays extremely physical, and had made the CB position a pretty strong area of our defense. just think back last year. we had a pretty good secondary but we were getting torched. Why? because of cassius vaughn and others. sure toler might be our worst starting DB ( starters are Landry, bethea, davis, butler)  but he is a very good corner who will only get better.

  2. This game really reminded me of the jets game from last year. ( and no, not because we scored 9 points) all this game tells us is that we are not there yet. we are getting very close but elite teams play good, and play good consistently. we still have many problems to fix such as O line, Interior D line, and mario harvey.

  3. I think the ONE and the ONLY positive out of this game was that trent richardson looked much better with his vision and hitting holes than previous weeks. looks like he's actually catching on.

  4. I think he is a young extremely gifted receiver who had the unfortunate luck of being drafted by the inept Browns organization...People over value the draft picks sometimes in my opinion..If we can trade our 2nd which will be very late in the 2nd for Gordon I would be all for it...I think he is far more gifted than any player we would get at the back of the 2nd and he is still young and cheap because of the new CBA...WR is gonna be a big need as Reggie is starting to decline but is still very good we need to have a guy in place when the wheels fall off..Our draft would be basically Richardson in back of the 1st and Gordon in the back of the 2nd...Far better than anything we could get in the draft and they are NFL proven! There are no guarantees a rookie will pan out and we know what we got already with these guys...We can address Guard, and LB in free agency as we will have enough cap room next year as well..Thoughts and opinions??

In a forum before, I said the colts would take a WR in the second round. trading our 2nd round pick for gordon would also be great.

  5. So what does everyone think of the signing now? I still think it's a bad signing, He has proved no matter what QB is throwing him the ball, He'll still drop it... This pass week i was throwing stuff at the TV when he dropped the easy pass on second and 5 where he could've easily made the first down plus some... How many drops he have this year so far?

I think he is a good stop gap for the WR we will take in the 2nd round of next years draft.

  6. I am sick and tired of biting my tongue and seeing all this garbage thrown at Richardson's direction...First off, when we keep running goal line offense when we are nowhere near the goal line and they stack 8 or 9 guys in the box because it's so obvious you could put Adrian Peterson or Bo Jackson back there for that matter, and they are gonna only get 2 yards..He doesn't need a fullback it just slows him down hinders his vision and prevents him from getting a head of steam...In the second half of the Seahawks game I think Pep started to see the light and ran him in 3-WR sets as a single back he started ripping off good gains and showed the power and burst...We need to quit using power formations unless we are in short yardage situations and that's why we keep getting off to slow starts...It is STUPID to keep TY HILTON off the field in favor of a fullback it just makes us predictable and takes the explosion out of our offense...I guarantee you if Richardson is used the way Edgerrin was used he will start getting the 100 yard games and the YPC will go up...He is an elite back and you will all see that soon if Pep gives up on the "fullback experiment".....We need to run an uptempo offense with the personnel we have PERIOD....It's nice to know we can run the power game when we need it , but to keep TY off the field and stack the box against Richardson makes no sense and only slows us down...It's not that hard to correct and I hope they figure it out in time for Monday night..

I think when we do run the 1 TE 1 FB and 2 receiver set, the two receivers should be DHB and TY. This is because DHB is probably our best blocking WR and TY is our best deep threat so it keeps the defense somewhat guessing. I know taking reggie off the field under any circumstance is a bad idea but its just a thought.

  7. Andrew Luck: 21/35, 313, 3tds

    Trent Richardson: 18, 67, 1td

    Donald Brown: 7, 49

    Reggie Wayne: 7, 97, 1td

    Coby Fleener: 5, 74, 2tds

    TY Hilton: 4, 78

    DHB: 3, 41

    LaVon Brazill: 2, 23

    Robert Mathis: 2.5sacks

    Vontae Davis: 1int

    Jerrell Freeman: 8tckls

    31-21 indy wins! :D

man, if robert actually gets 2.5 sacks, he would have 12 on the season which would be the most ever in his career.

  8. Rivers and Romo have taken care of the ball very well this year, much better than years past, on average. Rivers ain't Gabbert :), definitely not this year.

We have to be willing to play 60 minutes and even if it is a FG win, a road win by a FG is still not bad, just ask the Broncos :).

Cowboys played a very good half and were up 21-13 but got shut down after that at SD to lose 21-30. Granted, our D is not as bad as the Cowboys' D can be but the possibility of not being able to control tempo if you start slow and fall behind on the road has to be the number one concern, like Brent said above. Comebacks will not be easy on the road if you go down by 2 TDs.

all true. but rivers did throw 3 picks against the raiders. and our secondary is tied 3rd in the league with 7 INT's

  9. 100% agree with the Jags fan.

what? are you even a colts fan? sure luck didn't play fantastic ans sure bradshaw is by far better than T rich, but do you really agree that the jags will own the division in 2 years?.
