  1. I'd love to get just *one* GM's take on what happened with L.Blount. Literally every team (New England included), passed on him in waivers. Then, New England signed him. Immediately after signing, Blount looks like a beast (just like he did with New England). It worked to New England's benefit so effectively, people are throwing rumors New England manipulated the system somehow and pulled some strings. It could be Blount even purposefully acted out with Pittsburgh because he knew New England would sign him.

Before Blount was signed with New England for the 2nd time, he had an impressive resume. Blount is now averaging 6.18 yards through his first 22 Patriots games. There are tons of teams who needed a RB. So 31 teams were too afraid to sign him due to character concerns!? This is why New England is such a good team: They're not afraid to take chances with controversy. Chad Johnson, Albert Haynesworth, Tim Tebow, Jeff Demps (the renowned track & field guy), Randy Moss. Lots of them had question marks. New England didn't hit on all of them, but it pays to try.

    And Aaron Hernandez

  2. I threw what out there as bait?

I said that 4.5 sacks is not spectacular. Then a bunch of people said, "but but but what about Mathis'rookie season!"

I didn't say Newsome wasn't good, or that he doesn't have promise or anything of the sort.

I said 4.5 sacks isn't spectacular. That is hardly bait or being argumentative.

If someone said to you in real conversation that 4.5 sacks isn't spectacular, would you go on one of the long rants you post on this forum?

    Not worth the trouble
  3. I never backed the move nor did I have a strong opinion on the matter, I have no axe to grind. I always gave Trent and the powers that be the benefit of the doubt

I hereby officially due solemnly swear that Richardson does suck, real bad. oh lord. Please only put him in to pass block if we have abandoned the run completely. The honeymoon is over the guy moves so slow, I can't deals.

  4. I said nothing about "causing alot of damage". So, as long as a hit doesn't cause alot of damage we should just dismiss it as "no big deal"? Hitting a man is just as wrong as hitting a female. I don't care how much damage it caused. Besides, a womans punch or slap can hurt a great deal if she gets a clean shot. If you put your hands on somebody and you get hit back, I have zero sympathy for you. Keep your hands to yourself next time.

Tone deaf for sure, are you color blind also?

  5. I remember one year the Jags went 12-4 and did not win the South, but rolled Pittsburgh in the playoffs, David Garard's finest hour. I also vaguely maybe remember 3 AFC south teams making the playoffs in the same season some where in the 2000's?  In other news, how many seasons did the Pats have any good teams in the AFCE? Did their fans cry when the Fish went 1-15, or did the Bills perpetual suckage cause our eastern friends any consternation? I think not!

  6. Fitzmagic NO, Charlie Whitehurst NO, Chad Henne NO, Blake Bortles NO, you have nothing to back up your ridiculous claim at least for this season. Maybe the one time last year when Case Keenum had a good half, that isn't a trend just an anomaly.

We have a tendency to make no name quarterbacks look incredible, so I think it hurts us.

  7. Well he's fruity for sure. Am I supposed to care about that?

I'd hardly call him fragile though. The only games he's ever missed were in 2008 when he blew out his ACL.

If he plays like he plays, he can wear a wedding dress, high heels, and lipstick for every press conference, as far as I'm concerned. I really couldn't care less about the personal lives/choices of athletes.

Lets not forget that Bledsoe won the AFCCG in 2001.
