Oh wait we have a 1st round pick AND 2nd round pick in the next draft. Well that just feels weird. quick trade em away!!!

Its amazing how Colt fan's keep making excuses for Richardson just hope Grigson does not trade another 1st again. We should have kept Brown as I said all along you had Bradshaw and Ballard both coming of injuries what where they thinking
UGH... We got Richardson for essentially the same draft pick as Brown. Richardson has been performing about as well as Brown did as a rookie... Lets just see if he out performs Browns year 2 this year before we rush to judgement.

It happened last year with Caeser Rayford, a player does very well in the Preseason and gets traded away for a draft pick. Who do you think this happens to this year? I am thinking Tony Washington or Muamba.

Season 2 is notoriously bad for QBs. Does anyone else think this could be a possible reason for the playcalling we had last season? Run "vanilla and easy" to minimize errors, emphasize the run game early and often to alleviate pressure from the QB. It would have worked better too if it wasn't for the OL. I expect to see more elaborate plays as this next season progresses.
How much would we have complained if Luck had thrown 30+ interceptions last season...

I cannot believe that the NFL suspended our entire pass rush for the first four games.
All kidding aside, I hope this gets overturned.

Anyone else think that maybe we get him on the field during the preseason, show other teams what they are missing, and trade him for a low pick in next years draft? (see Cesaer Rayford last year)
one of those magical extra draft picks that we tend to pick up in the offseason.

As much as i hate making this comment, I can see us trading away V. Ballard.
If we could get a high enough pick for him ( 2nd? 3rd round?) and take scat back later in the draft, we would have a more rounded stable of RBs and have an other potential starter elsewhere on the team.

The way I understand it the DEs in a 3/4 are similar to the DTs in a 4/3. the difference is the DE in a 3/4 are split in the middle by a NT, and the 4/3DEs are moved out and back as OLBs.
so:

Most Improved Player: Whalen (PS to Starter... thats not too shabby)
Best Acquisition (Draftee/FA): Walden... say what you will but he did his job well enough to let Mathis get something like 200 sacks this season.
Biggest Surprise Player: DHB (you didn't say "best" Surprise... who would have thought this would go so poorly?)(Do you think even if he was to be resigned, he would drop the pen?)
Breakout Player of the Year: S. Brown. I mean he killed it on special teams this year.
Costliest Injury: Allen (our run game and passing game would have been even better this year with him in... Doyle was just not the same as Allen. Atleast TY Griff and Rogers all stepped up for wayne... TE was a little short) -
Can we all be a little more patient with Trent Richardson? We took him in the 2014 Draft at pick 26 (we could still refer to him as a rookie next season right?)... we took Donald Brown in the 2009 Draft at pick 27.

Yes he has less rushing yards, but has 2 more touchdowns and more receiving yards... the Fumbles suck but stuff happens... There is really not a whole lot of difference between the two RBs... for essentially the same draft pick. maybe we just need to take a step back and let this unfold.

I can see the news from this weekend now... "In a strange turn of events DHB drops his helmet while standing on the sidelines. The helmet rolls out on to the field, trips Andre Johnson at the 50 yard line. Ref. Triplett calls it a TD."

do you have to designate them when they are put on IR? or can it be changed based on their progress?

alright, 3 years ago most of our runs ended at or behind the line of scrimage... Keeping that in mind, TRich is not netting 3 yards a carry its more like 5-6 Colts yards per carry... Use your imagination and put Addai against the stacked boxes that we are seeing now... SCARY
Brown is netting more yards per carry, but he runs on pass plays. he is not running against the same stacked boxes. He is running against players falling back into coverage, who are already tired out from taking out Richardson.
I don't know I don't think he is doing poorly. I feel like as the team continues to gel we are going to be wicked good.

Didn't Lacey also push Luck into Florence on that interception? Luck may not have gotten to him in time to keep him out of the endzone... I think we should thank Lacey for that timely push.... it could have been a TD for Detroit.

Wouldn't just make sense to do the Thursday night games immediately after a teams bye week? Seems like that would make the most sense. Still get revenue but not as many injuries. Bigger turn out because its been a week and a half since you've seen your team... just sayin

So is it possible that they will be moving someone from the active roster to the PS to activate Justin Anderson, or Josh Chapman? The FO might not have activated Hicks to the AR because Anderson is ready to start. Any thoughts?
