HOUSTON, WE COMING FOR YOU!

So true. Many have been advocating moving him to guard for many years. Eight years in and it still hasn’t happened. Don’t think it ever will actually. Especially since Fries has improved and he could continue to improve who knows. It’s a top five OL. Just continue to develop the depth so you have it when the time comes.
He's a top 10 RT in the league when healthy, so why would you want him to move back to guard?

I'm most worried about Mayo boy!

Pressure has a funny way of making a secondary look better than they are. I wanted to add a vet to the secondary too, but I think they are going to be better than people think.I was high on the defensive line BEFORE they drafted Laiatu Latu. On paper, this is probably the most talented defensive line from top to bottom during my lifetime. I'm just hoping everyone can stay healthy this year! It's gonna be a ton of fun watching Latu improve as the season goes on. He's the most talented pass-rusher the Colts were able to get their hands on since Robert Mathis, Dwight Freeney were in their primes.

Let’s face it Flacco. Is nearly 4 and on a one year deal and Erlinger doesn’t look like he’s ever gonna be ready for prime time. I hoping Slovis or Pennix can step up
You do realize Joe Flacco was signed to be the backup. There's no competition between him and Ehlinger. Ehlinger will be battling for a roster spot against Slovis and Bean.

I agree on offense. I think we'll need it with our defense which is currently very hard to evaluate.
I like the front seven a lot, but the secondary is a huge question mark heading into the season. Players staying healthy is going to be key as always, but for the Colts to have a great season the younger guys will all need to step up and take a step forward since it's not looking like the Colts are signing a veteran Corner or Safety which I think is a huge mistake.

Shane Steichen/Anthony Richardson/Jonathan Taylor
Michael Pittman Jr/AD Mitchell/Alec Pierce/Josh Downs/Anthony Gould
Jelani Woods/Will Mallory/Alex Ogletree/Kylen Gransen
A top-five offensive line with all five starters returning with the best depth across the board in a very long time.

I Didn't care much for the pick at first but once I realized he was the first defensive player off the board and the Colts were able to snag AD Mitchell in the 2nd, this pick became a slam dunk IMO.

I'm not big on Quinyon Mitchell but picking a slot receiver like Ricky Pearsell within the top 50 blows my mind. Drafting Legette would make more sense imo.
-
Chop Robinson at 15 is crazy.
-
The NFL Draft is unpredictable and anything can happen but it's highly unlikely for Nabers, Odunze & even Brock Bowers to make it to 15.
-
It was the typical Chris Ballard presser that we've all seen every year he's been the Colts GM.

-
Gotta credit the media for asking him the difficult questions even though he's dodging most of them in typical Ballard fashion.
-
100% Bowers. Give Anthony Richardson MORE weapons.
-
Cooper DeJean.
-
Sticking at 15 is the most likely, but if Chris Ballard was ever going to move up in the first round and select a player, it's gonna happen next week.

-
Brock Bowers. Surrounding Anthony Richardson with as much talent as possible is my number one focus right now.
-
More than likely Gus Bradley will take the fall but it should 100% be Chris Ballard.

Give me Jeremiah Trotter Jr.

what do you think he’ll pull?Probably something close to what Gilmore signed with the Colts. I guess it'll depend on how high his market is and how long he has to sit and wait to sign somewhere. I'm assume he'll sign something close to 12-15 million per year.

It’s the route I see us going quite honestly. Not necessarily him specifically, but an older vet and maybe one that isn’t brought in to be an upgrade but more depth/mentor like you said.I would be okay with signing him on a short deal if the price is right.

If the Colts aren't able to a top FA at CB then I wouldn't mind taking a flier on Xavien Howard to bring in a veteran presence to help mentor the younger guys while filling a need at outside CB. Also, Xavien will go back to playing man coverage which is something he excels in.
