What do you say to the fans? How about this imploding of the team doesn't even compare to 98. Faulk, Dilger, Pollard and Harrison were here. Who does luck have? Brown, Collie, White and Tamme. No faith in our own, we bring in a 37 yr old vet to start the season with 1 week to go. I say stick with manning because no rookie knows the nfl speed right out of the gate. I'm buying colt playoff tickets this year because of Manning, Every frickin team wants Manning! What the F does that tell you? Of a washed up Qb? Or a proven mvp who can step right in and take the team to a new level. I;m not waiting 3-4 years for the so called jump if it even happens to make the playoffs. I'm betting the house on a proven winner who wants to show people/teams that he is back and is taking no prisoners, Draft Luck and sit him and cut the other overpaid fat on this team. We have a s load of draft picks and udfa's, With Manning, we will be alright. All eyes/money is watching Manning this year. Why not have the world watch the colts with Manning? We win either way! The money Manning brings to the colts ten fold his salary this year! Manning is the nfl this year. All eyes will be on Indy! We win, we win. People, wake up! Brain dead topic. Manning is throwing right now to Clark and Collie. He will play this year at a high/mvp level. If he can play, he will play for the colts Irsay said. I believe Mr. Irsay is a man of his word and will have Manning under center for the COLTS this year with luck learning/earning behind him. We hit the pot of gold, we hold all the cards, and we will have the 2 best qbs in the nfl playing for the colts! Keep Manning, draft luck and F everyone else. Manning makes the colts better. Unless the colts now are in the business of making other teams better. Wake up! go to the bathroom and please take out what is most important to you before you throw him out in the bath water.

The biggest story of the year will be about Manning and how he's holding up. Manning is going to play and play with a chip on his shoulder. He wants to match his brother in super bowls. The eyes of the world will be on him and the team he plays for. He is going to generate a lot of money and exposure for him and his team. He will make the colts back their money 10 fold this year alone and lead us back to the playoffs. We can restucture Mannings contract and draft luck. We can and should have both. Every team needs 2 good qbs. Well we will have 2 great qbs. We don't need years of downtime/rebuilding/losing. We can transition this team without a setback and still be the team that has dominated the south for 10 years, I've seen the future and it includes both Manning and luck. Mr. Irsay, hold onto Manning and draft Luck. You can hold all the chips and sit back and laugh at all those nay sayers as we are set for the present and the future.

90% of teams are interested in Manning. They don't care about his health. A 75% Manning is better than anyone not named Brady, Brees or Rodgers. You don't just let Manning go and get nothing in return. That would be STUPID! Sign or rework Mannings contract, then we can get crazy out this world offers for him before the draft! We have the #1 pick in the draft because the best qb in the league sat out last year. If no teams were showing interest in Manning then letting him go would not hurt us, but everyone and their brother wants Manning. Manning could bring us quality top notch players and draft picks. Football is all about money. With Manning here the next 2 years, he will make the colts their money back 3 fold. Anything Manning will be sought after. Every team needs 2 good Qbs. Manning will play and play like he never missed time. Manning is Indy and Indy is Manning. Besides Brady, Brees and Rodgers, Noone is better than Manning.
We have a 4 time mvp Qb who wants to play and finish his career here. With him, we win the south and reach the playoffs. There is nothing wrong with having both Manning and Luck. We win now and we win in the future. If Luck has a problem sitting and learning behind Manning, than he isn't a team player. We could draft RG3 and use him right away as a change up for P. M and he would be happy to learn from the master. You don't win the Heisman (beats out Luck) as a fluke! RG3 is a smart kid and great athlete(track star speed/strong arm)
Don't forget! We had Edge J. lead the nfl in rushing his first 2 years 1500+ each year. . That and Marvin were the reasons we were winning. They helped out a rookie Qb named P.M. We can't put a rookie Qb in there now without other weapons around him and expect to win. Manning is a proven winner and has that fire to win and play at a high level again. The colts and colts fans want to win now, we don't want to wait to win sometime in the future. Keep Manning. Draft Luck or RG3 to take over after Manning retires in 2 years. Everyone wins! I just watched the espn Manning interview. Manning wants to play and is going to play this season. He has been and will be a top 5 Qb this season. He wants to finish up here in Indy. He may play 2 more years? I wonder if we were in contention at the end of the year, I think Manning would have returned.
The Manning I remember won 4 straight and was a Blair W drop from another run at a superbowl. So he finally missed time last season his first ever. He is healing and will be ready for mini camp. Luck or RG3 should be drafted to backup and learn from Manning as we return to winning the south.
We need 2 great /good Qbs on this team. People say we can't do it, but we can do it. This guy wants to stay! Don't push him away! Manning wants to play, and play at a high level and win. It's not about money, it's about health. He will be healthy and play well for us this season and it will be money well spent when we get back to the playoffs this year. Manning=playoffs+Qb of future, We can't lose!

If you're going to get rid of Manning and he still wants to play, trade him to highest bidder (Anyone but the jets) and load up on draft picks. Releasing him for nothing and getting nothing in return is crazy, pure and simple. Manning is worth atleast a #1 pick and other picks as well. Mr Irsay, you talk about the colts future. Well Luck, plus the picks for Manning, and our other draft picks this year, should set us up nicely for the future.

RG3. Everyone has been talking about Vick these last couple of years and right here is the younger. bigger, faster (track speed) version who can pass/run. Manning is the starter but you can mix plays in right away with RG3. Imagine Manning and RG3 in the backfield together? Is it going to Manning or RG3? If to Manning, could he pass to RG3? If to RG3, Is he gonna pass or is he gonna run? Colts take the south and go on to win the superbowl next year, Manning retires a colt, and RG3 will be ready to run this high powered O into the future. Problem solved. No charge.

Manning was just throwing in pads last month to Joe A and gonzo in a closed practice and they said they were excited. An 85% Manning is and always will be better than most Qbs in the nfl and every draft pick coming into the league regardless of draft position.
We learned the hard way this year that you need 2 good/great Qbs on every team to compete. Well after the draft we will. Manning and Luck, or Manning and RG3. Drafting luck and trading him to browns for RG3 and draft picks could be golden down the road. RG3 is a bright and talented athlete. He has a lot of the vick qualities people like only younger and he also has no problem sitting and learning behind Manning.
Manning wants to play and wants to play for the colts. Pay him and play him and sit the rookie. Everyone wins! Mr Irsay, you will be a hero to colts fans everywhere, Manning will win the south and lead us back to the playoffs and we will have our Qb of the future on the roster in case Manning should get injured. Last time I saw Manning he was driving for the win and was 1 dropped pass by Blair W from running the clock out against the jets. We need 2 Qbs. Not any Qbs, good Qbs. That starts with Manning and adding Luck and then seeing how the draft unfolds.
I hope everyone knows better that releasing or trading Manning to anyone in the afc(jets or anyone in the south) is a horrible idea. He will beat us down and make us pay as long as he can play. Don't do it ! Don't even think about it! Manning wants to make up for last year and show everyone that he is still the best. The draft, udfa's and free agents will fill our needs drafting in our position. Someone I respect said some time ago that he would never let Manning leave and he would play out his days from day 1 until he retires a colt.
The guy can still play at a high level and has earned the right to finish here. Luck or RG3 will learn and be ready when their number is called. This can and should be done.

If healthy, Manning stays and we still draft Luck/RG3. We need 2 good Qbs, this year showed us that. You don't release Manning and just let him walk for nothing! Pay Manning the bonus in March and we go into the draft with out of this world leverage! Manning if healthy has at least 2-3 good/great playoff years left. What's important is winning the south, getting to the playoffs. Having a chance to win it all. And we're still right there with Manning under center. I'll take that now over a draft pick who never played a down in the nfl. Let me see? Top 5 Qb(4 mvp) or rookie? Manning will be the starter and Luck/RG3 will see alot of time in preseason and be there to back up Manning if he gets hurt in the regular season. Where is it written that you can't sit and learn from 1 of the /if not the greatest? Luck went to Manning's passing camp, now he gets paid to go. Everyone wins! Healthy Manning = playoffs, while we groom our Qb for the future. And DEAR GOD PLEASE don't trade Manning to the jets, that would be the ultimate slap in the face to each and every colts fan.

Jim Irsay, you can have the best of both worlds. Manning & luck or Manning & RG3. Either is a slam Dunk. The factor is Manning. Wow, how soon we forget and toss aside a 4 time mvp. Joe A caught passes from him last month and was excited!. Manning is amoung the top 5 Qbs in the nfl now and 3 years from now. Noone reads the D or makes changes at the line like Manning. How many close games did we have this year? With Manning, we win those.and make the playoffs. What about this? Colts trade pick and get RG3 and draft picks. Follow me here. Manning and RG3 together in wildcat looks. Special plays designed for RG3 at Qb? Maybe add 5-15 plays for him. Manning starts/plays most of game mix in RG3= recipe for victory. Manning stays upright and healthy and fresh/RG3 gets real time reps right from the start. Listen folks, with Manning were winning the south as long as he 's playing. In 2 years the next great Qb will be praised going into the draft just like this year and years before that Stafford/Bradford/Smith/McCoy/ Freeman/lgo. I want to win NOW. Actually, Caldwell has been on the injured list most if not all of the year. How the team doctors get him ready for game day is a modern miracle. It's been pretty much the same ailment every week. Head lodged up the shvinkter. After 3 more weeks of this debilatating condition, someone better hold the door for him so it doesn't hit him on his way out. What do they say? Don't let it hit ya where the good lord split ya!

He's been cleared. Cleared to make another football cops short for directtv. Guess the neck wasn't bothersome when he made that before the season. Actually you would have never thought there was a problem watching him act in that. Hmmmmm? What great timing! What pain can we tolerate for a large chuck of change! Manning should be ashamed.

How about mixing things up alittle. Halfback option, flea flicker, reverse, shovel pass, stretch play, screen pass, delayed draw, pump fake. Cheese and rice you're 0 and 9 mix it up! On D, Blitz, show blitz and drop, stack the line, shot the gap, time the snap, play man and press coverage, no 10 yard gaps, have someone shadow MJD, Wow! like the whole game. How about this! Make changes and adjustments at halftime. No really! Tackling is a plus also. Painter, if nothing is there, RUN up the middle. This is the game to show some pride or roll over for the rest of the season. Whats it going to be? Whats it gonna be? Who's gonna have the balls to step up and be the leader sunday? This my friends is Caldwell's last chance at keeping his job. Something tells me we wake up sunday ticked and ready for this game. Colts 21-10

Something is telling me the team will be ready to play well sunday night. We need to mix things up on both sides of the ball. On D we need to stack the line and blow up the gap. Take it to them instead of waiting for them to bring it to us. We can't sit back on our heels. Show blitz and go, show and drop. Mix it up for gods sake. Play man instead of the tampa (we'll throw it between you) 2. I also tired of seeing Angerer drop back into the middle of god knows where. How about someone covering the rb out of the backfield. How about getting your 6'6 hands up and tip/knock down some passes if you can't get to the qb. Bull rush up the middle and force things before their ready. My god this is not rocket science. Show some pride d, don't just roll over like a dog, FIGHT!!!! Now the O. Kerry you got to get rid of the ball quick. You don't have time to hold the ball because when you do that you put it on the ground. Quick short slants, screens, draws will keep them quessing. Where the heck is that pump fake they talk about? Use it sunday night! Reggie, Dallas. Jacob, Joe and Pierre are there to help you, please let them. Can we mix things up on 3rd and 1 instead of the failed rush up the gut? After watching it for I donno 7 years now, It still tickes me off every stinking time it fails. Be creative! This is the make or break week for this team no doubt about it. Tough games for everyone in our division. A win could get us 1 game out of 1st place tie. No turnovers, no penalties and smart play will win this game. Can we do it, I believe it. Good luck Kerry, Keep it simple and use your weapons around you. Joe, Dallas, Tamme, Reggie, Austin, Garcon, Blair and Donald got your back. Short quick passes will open things up downfield as the game goes on. Get rid of the ball quickly, screens and draws to Joe will work wonders. And please oh please just protect the ball, no silly fumbles/fumbled snaps and stupid ints. You have great players around you who want to help you and who believe in you just like us million strong colt fans around the world. Keep it simple and make us proud Sunday.

The Progress I Hope For...

The progress I hope for is winning the south. I see each team beating each other with colts taking it in the final week at 9-7. It seems every year 2 divisions have a team win it at 8-8 or 9-7, next year it will be us.
M Faulk, Harrison, Dilger were here when a new qb started. We still need a few more weapons for the new guy.
Flacco, Sanchez and Dalton all had a running game and a good D.
The rules to winning this year is to follow the T's: Turnovers/takeaways, Technique, Tackling/tight coverage, Time of poss.
I believe this can and will happen THIS year! April 1st brings the new nfl year and every team has the same goal. Sit back and put your seat belt on, you're going to get blown away by this brand new team this year. I think you're gonna be surprised!
