What are you talking about? There has been no speculation of interest in Adams. From what I’ve read the Cowboys are making a play for him. No word of the Colts involved there.

So that means he is only available to the cowboys? I am simply Stating that the colts should be very interesting as well as many other teams.

  2. In my opinion we will have to trust the scouts and Ballard i mean they have done fantastic so far. I believe they reached a hair on some guys but it doesn’t matter because they will be at a higher floor in our scheme. They are targeted guys for our style of football. It’s up to the coaches to develop the talent. In this class the athletic profiles are jumping of the page. Bleacher report’s own Matt Miller gave it an A+ calling Indy’s front office the best in the game. I will personally wait till Ballard let’s me down to give any negative opinions especially hypothetical criticisms.

  3. Imo he has done great in the west coast dink and dunk offensive scheme. We all know hooke good he was on arains air raid offense. If he is able to keep progressing back to his deep ball potential and puts it all together he is going to be unstoppable. Im excited for the future luck

  4. I saw a couple of interesting articles debating whether or not Nelson could play tackle in the NFL. His arms are long enough but the question remains is he athletic enough to play left tackle. Maybe even in a pinch. I look at new england's approach with left tackle in drafting Wynne for instance. He will get that shot eventually to try. I know he played tackle but he is undersized in nfl measurements. Hypothetically for argument sake let's say Nelson could be an average to great left tackle. Then with Smith in the second rounder, he has a similar build to a right tackle prospect. If we're hit on his potential as well Imo in the next year or two if we move on from constanzo and this pans out we could have two book end tackles.  I will be extreamly impressed not only with Ballard but the scoutng as well.

That will not only put to bed the argument drafting a guard in the top ten of the draft but also solidify this line for the next ten years at least for our tackle positions. I mean worst case  hopefully we have two starting caliber or better guards so I'm not complaining. Just food for thought. Any opinions?

  5. I guess this means we are trading out with the bills. Obviously not trying to win this year. I thought we'd at least sign one or two pretty good players even if we had over pay a little. I'm sure it will sign one or two decent names but it's definitely not a win-now mentality. I guess the plus side is will have cap room next year for whatever free agents Ballard decides to sign. My guess is trying to make the mentality of people wanting to come to sign here only and he's not going to reach out and really try hard for somebody or overpay them. I'll chill out and relax now just wanted to vent. I guess we'll see how it unfolds but clearly it looks like we are at least third in projection for our division this year. If luck has a good year no matter the win lose record they will want to come back to Indy.

Well actually von was in my list lol do you believe Broncos would give him up to get cousins? That definitely will not happen tho. In case you guys havnt taken notice the new trend in tge nfl is trading picks for great or upside type players. See for instance new england, rams, redskins, eagles. I read an article stating that is an actual trend and we might see more and more of that to come.

  7. i could actually see it. stupid yes but iv'e seen stupider when it comes to teams and drafting quarterbacks. Or i would love David Johnson in a heartbeat from Arizona if they traded picks. This might be a nonsense post entirely but we could come out of this whole draft smelling very good if Ballard does his due diligence. No reason why a team wouldn't get desperate enough to give up a great player. especially with some cap situations.

  8. We have so many of these pieces in place. I don't know if Hooker was one of these intended pieces or not but look at this.

    Luck, Kelly, Hankins, Hooker

All above averedge or great potential players at their respective position.

So going of that premise it makes total sense to draft Barkley if he is sitting there for us.

I know the consensus is Chubb and i get it but after a quick glance the DE end class is loaded in next years draft IMO.

I know Geathers is a viable starter at SS when healthy. I think logically that in the scenario that we trade down and miss out out top tier blue chip guys like Nelson or Fitzpatrick and stick to this premise middle linebacker would be the biggest need at that point. At which point targeting a RB in the second round would make sense. I wouldn't be apposed to take Roquan Smith then and plug him in right away. The only other players i could foresee in this down the middle idea really is Tremaine Edmunds idk about Darwin James in the middle.

    What do you guys think.

  9.  I'm under the assumption this has a low probability of happening but could be interesting. Now that's defilippo is interviewing in Minnesota for the offensive coordinator position. My thoughts are he will stay in Philly as oc if Reich signed here. If we managed to get both what do u guys think? My only reservations is i don't believe either has called plays before.
