How can they be? They expected big things from him and hyped him up all summer. And then he put up pedestrian numbers even before the injury b
Sometimes your posts make me smfh.
What makes you think Saints, Denver, or Patriots would go after him? What do you mean what Denver does with Thomas? He's tagged. Patriots have no spot for him among Edelman, Gronk, Amendola, LaFell, Dobson, Slater. Saints can't begin to afford or even need him In their line up with Colston, cooKs, stills, Graham.
Wth?

I agree we should take a step back and truely enjoy our team right now. However, reggie said he'll be back in 2015, thankfully.
-
Wow, great news. To think I was actually proud at one point to have him on our team. His training regimen away from the team, his lack of interaction with his teammates, his PED use and his seemingly obsessive godlike view of his physique and lack of what I consider a team/football first attitude really sours me as a fan. I think the team is making a great decision with Landry, and doing so by admitting they were wrong when they gave him the contact they did.

He's done with football.

Honest question: When was Dungy known for being accepting, forgiving and helping people get a second chance? I remember him being known for being very conservative with player acquisition, pretty much to the exclusion of players with character concerns or other off field issues.
Ah yeah, I'm taking post coaching career. He wrote a book called "the mentor leader" which as you can imagine has many stories about the people he's mentored.
-
Exactly. And I'm sure as hell he wouldn't draft Manziel because he wouldn't want to deal with it all. What's wrong with avoiding the drama? People are too sensitive.
Pgt_rob, can you not understand how this might be different? Are people that party hard looked down upon by society? Was johnny football scared for his life to come out publicly to say he likes to party hard and love rolls of money? Also, there's the whole choice aspect.

Well, there is a reason people write articles about stuff like this. And people obviously react to said articles such as OP. Then you have people that react to the reaction, such as yourself. Now you wonder why stuff like this is written and debated about? It's a very polarized subject.People need to stop being wimps... Seriously! Always find something to complain about!
Wow he said he wouldn't draft him... Big deal! Obviously there were a bunch of other Gm's this year that wouldn't either they just didn't come out and say it!
Tony said nothing wrong.. He even said he believes Michael Sam DOES deserve to play in the NFL.. He wouldn't have drafted him because of all of the distractions and drama surrounding him! Just like this! You and others are proving his point! People need to get some tougher skin and quit changing and assuming peoples words.. It's ridiculous! He doesn't have anything against gays. People just freak out over the SMALLEST of things it's crazy!
So no he doesn't deserve backlash but he will get it becuaae everyone thinks everything is racist or sexist now a days.... Rant over
-
Why is it too bad? He's allowed to have whatever opinion he wants.
As is OP, wouldn't you say?
-
While I am unsure if he was taken out of context, which happens a lot. If it was in context and that's what he meant to say, to me, that's an extremely weak position for a man that is known to be accepting, forgiving and help people get a 2nd chance in life.

FYI, additional seat purchasing started on Thursday.
Anyone have access yet? I'm trying to find out if the single next to me is still open.
My day is Thursday. Though I'm not expecting much, I'll take a look.

good point
Really? Seems like a pretty common sense point to me.
I'm glad Matthews is gone, simply because I once told him to "get better" thinking he was injured at the time. He gave me a really snide look, and I found it he wasn't injured, just didn't see the field much. :x

I was able to upgrade yesterday (April 10). I was in 451 row 9 (under BL zone) and moved to 431 (corner) row 4. My goal is to get in the 300 level -- don't know if that will ever happen. Anyway, I'm very happy with the upgrade I got. Not only am I closer but now I'm on the side of the stadium closest to where I park. Can't wait for the season to begin. I'm already suffering basketball withdrawl (though with the Pacers playing as well as they are, I still have a little to watch)... but it's the COLTS that I'm really missing.
Hoosier Fan, you gave me a mini heart attack, I missread your section. I upgraded to 631 row 4 and I thought we might have had a conflict. Phew.
-
I was able to upgrade on Tuesday. I was in 627 with aisle seats and didn't find any upgrades, which I didn't expect to. However I told myself I'd search all locations and ended up finding aisle seats in the non bigscreen corner, row 4. I was happy because they are close to everything right off the corner.
Anyone know when we can buy additional seats? Can you buy additional seats the same year you upgraded?

Tons of reasons Branch makes sense...
DHB is out
Ex-Pat
apparently-fast learner,
decent hands,
good routes,
vetern,
has play-off experience
another WR in the horrible case that someone gets hurt
is an Indy local...
I doubt the guy gets many looks, if any, but you have an open roster spot, at this point in the season there are not a lot of big difference makers out there to fill a spot, & as fluid as the roster has been this season, the Branch signing makes tons of sense...
Thanks buck. Sometimes I wish people would put minimal thought before questioning a move such as this.

I see, so shotgun it's a read option, under center it's a bootleg. The oline even blocked it the same way.
It was a read option. You are wrong, get over it. Your lack of evidence should be a telling sign your wrong... especially when all your going on is your gut feelings of the "situation".
I loved the read option play. Every team knows we try to slam short yardage with Trent with mixed results. This play shows that going into the playoffs, this team really will be unpredictable.
-
Why? Because, guys that aren't practicing today (Saturday game day, makes today the Thursday practice) generally can't go. It's not a secret code I'm breaking, and I hope I'm wrong, better?
Why would today not be considered Wednesday's practice?

The injury situation is unbelievable this year.
So it's likely that Davis, RJF, Werner, Butler (probably more) will be out?
Why are you coming to this conclusion so quickly? Have you seen something we haven't?
-
Another big game by Walden last night, he has played very well while Werner has been out. He is very active and seems to be all over the field. Really plays hard and gives his all. We really need Werner to continue to develop and become our second pass rush threat, in the mean time Walden has been lights out, starting to really feel good about Walden and Werner handling the strong side.
Surely you're not talking about Erik Walden? The same Erik Walden that wasn't worth the jersey he put on every Sunday? /sarcasm
Eriks played great and has performed exactly as Grigson and the personel team brought him in for. I am very pleased with his on the field contributions.

Not that funny.

No, I wasn't joking. I threw my child out of the house just minutes ago, flailing my leather belt strap like a lunatic as a means of channeling my ill-begotten rage over my daughters inability to correctly name the Colts starting roster. My hands hurt from the force of my strikes. My voice, strained near loss from the ear drum piercing screams of horrific disappointment I feel toward my child's lack of NFL knowledge.
I locked her in the basement once for 2 weeks because she said Andrew Luck's eyes were too far apart .
....you getting the sarcasm yet or ?
Ruk, you are amazing.

Thanks for the well wishes! Here's to a good playoff run for both our teams and let's avoid the injury bug!
I was also at the green Bay game and it was a spectacular game and the gb fans were very good people!

Hang on, didn't you post on a thread about Collie berating the OP for putting it in Colts and not General?
Yeah... Pot meet kettle.
Yep.Is this the NFL General Forum ... Collie's not a Colt ... Wrong Forum ... Everybody's a former member of some team.
Where were the Jacob Tamme threads
Where are the Piere Garçon threads
This doesn't involve the COLTS
I am also not worried about Freeney as I think his best years are behind him and transitioning to another 3-4 will put him in a rotational group where he won't see an a lot amount of playing time.
-
I agree. We all knew what he meant even if he wasn't technically correct.TKnight is very excitable and was probably on a sugar rush from all the apple juice when that was posted. lol

What are you even trying to say?you don`t know what position these guys play. listen and learn.

I think I found some old rap songs by created by Denzelle. Â I stumbled across these when I was searching for information on him. Â Always funny to get a glimpse into players real life before they become NFL stars ;)
