  1. Accuracy - This is just laughable. This comes down to ball placement. When you look at Luck vs RG3 in accuracy, Luck is way more impressive with the throws he's able to make. Don't quote stats. RG3 is a spread QB. Always in the shotgun, it would be embarrassing for him to have worse statistics in this area.

Arm Strength - No argument. Luck can still heave the ball, just not as well as RG3. Still very over rated quality in a player aka Peyton Manning.

Touch - Both QB's have great touch on the ball. Delivery is great for both, although I like Luck's a little more. He has a very Drew Brees-ish throwing motion with the over-the-top smooth throw, while RG3 has an unorthadox three quarters delivery.

Decision Making - This is Luck's all day long. He's been in the pro-style offense for 3 years and makes great reads. He calls plays at the line, steps up in the pocket when he feels it collapsing and moves defenders with his eyes. The reason why RG3 is on the run so often is his lack of decision making abilities. If his first read is covered...he's off. I saw this in every Baylor game I watched last year.

Athleticism - I'm giving RG3 the edge here, but he's a former track star...this is expected. Running a 40 yrd dash 0.25 seconds faster than Luck doesn't put him on top. Luck is more accurate throwing on the run, and he might be as fast, but he can extend the play and move down the field just as well as Griffin, without being as much of an injury risk with his size.

My two cents. Give me a job at ESPN, i'll give you my misinformed and biased opinions all day :)

You sir are on the money

  2. Great posts I like this thread lol but I missed the press conference. I think he will do fine but there's some tough choices to be made. If he let's Peyton go and Peyton is back to old then that will haunt the guy. If he keeps Peyton and manning isn't the same, he will get blame from alot of people. I really believe he will do a good job

  3. Please NO. Why would you want that jerk on your team?

He is a jerk and has an attitude but I don't think that will hurt the team really. We need some attitude and fire. Garcon seems to be the cockiest guy we have. I do guess there's a difference between cocky and a jerk but at the right price (basically whatever Wayne makes) I think he would be a nice player

  4. Let's not ,Jackson is a me 1st guy and Collie can't stay healthy.

Jackson would give us that deep threat and return specialist. We have really never had a return man. Whoever the QB is would love the field position instead of starting at the 20 or inside of it

And excuse me but Collie has 3 seasons, 16-9-16 games played. Sounds to me like last year was his worst with multiple concussions. 7 games missed out of 48 is not staying healthy?

  5. I am in Mississippi and there are a lot of Cowboys, Steelers and recently Saints fans here. I visit Indy a couple times a years to go to games.

Lol exactly! Im from North Mississippi, right outside of Memphis. Lots of titans fans around but I do see Colts fans around here.

  6. The only problem with picking a QB later in the draft and having him as the future would be that we have that guy playing right now and look how that worked out. I think if they decide Peyton will be 100% (hard to do, I know) then I would get as much possible for the pick, use the 1 of our 2 1st picks next season on a QB, if there is 1 out there.

I just don't see Luck sitting for a few years. This whole scenario screams Packers to me, in that Favre got pushed out too early. What if Manning is playing at a high level and goes as long as Favre??

  7. Painter has far and away the better physical talent for a QB, but Tebow is a winner and that is all that matters.

He hasn't shown me to have far and away more physical talent though. I would definitely take Tebow over Painter. Painter sucks BAD
