  1. Andre Johnson is going to complete this high powered offense by his overall skill set and size. What a fantastic addition by Grigson, in spite of swirling criticism surrounding our fearless GM. With the offense struggling to move the chains on 3rd downs and it's lack of Red zone Touchdowns during the downside of Reggie Waynes career...THIS SIGNING COULD BE ONE OF THE MOST IMPACTFUL YET OVERLOOKED SIGNINGS of 2015 IN THE NFL. The numbers Andre has put up during his career down in Houston are even more remarkable when taking into consideration the QB carousel that is the Texans. It was obvious as Andre pointed out Andrew Luck as being the best QB he has EVER PLAYED WITH; THIS AFTER ONLY 3 DAYS INTO HIS NEW JOB HERE IN INDIANAPOLIS. As most of ColtsNation knows how special of a WR Andre is, since facing him twice a year for what seems like forever...What a Great Asset for Luck & Indys overall offensive production it should be having Andre burn defensive backs consistently throughout a ballgame, THIS TIME AS A COLT instead of versus us. Glad him and Frank Gore BOTH chose Indianapolis as their final team to play out both their All Pro careers in Blue, dawning The Horseshoe. The skill positional players Pep Hamilton has at his disposal should be At The Top in nearly Every statistical category with T.Y. Hilton,Donte Moncrief, Phillip Dorsett,Duron Carter,Dwayne Allen,Coby Fleener, Boom Herron, Josh Robinson,Frank Gore, and last But Not Least: Andre Johnson. Expectations are very high after Andrew Luck threw for just under 5000 yards and 40 TD'S in 2014. Given the addition of a better run game with upgrades on the O Line and RB, Luck should be able to improve his QB Rating,3rd Down Conversion %, Completion %, Red zone TD %, and cut down on turnovers...especially the Interceptions! This Offense Has The Potential To Do Great Things, the addition of Andre Johnson IS ONE OF MANY REASONS WHY. Excited for live game action as the 1st game of the preseason is coming up, BUT I'M REALLY EXCITED FOR WEEK 1 OF THE REGULAR SEASON TO GET HERE. The Entire Sporting World Will Be Put On Notice in Buffalo when Luck & these Thoroughbred Colts begin their season long stampede of opposing defenses, starting with Rex Ryans Top 3 Bills Defense. Go Horse

  2. Frank should have plenty of oppertunities to produce chunk yardage in our Colts high powered offense. I look for him to be the bell cow that averages 20 touches per game and totals over 1200 yards of offense and 10 touchdowns! The O Line did alot better job in regards to its run blocking as the season came to a close last year. The biggest concern is at RT concerning the overall health of Gosder, and will he be the player Grigson paid a big contract to hold strong for Luck and lead running backs through big lanes to the outside?!?! Understandably the other concern is at Center... BUT, I will say with much confidence that I Really Like The Upside of Big Jon Harrison there, but would be fine if Coach Pagano feels differently and selects Holmes as the guy, which very well could bode well for us by opening up competition at RG between Thorton,Harrison,Thomas, and newcomer & expected starter Todd Herramans. The blindside is set with Castonzo & Mewhort (Unless Gosder is unable to start the season at RT, forcing Mewhort to RT)...regardless how it plays out, ColtsNation should feel ALOT BETTER about our overall depth and talent on the O Line heading into 2015. We love our Tight Ends in D Allen & Fleener, the 3rd TE spot could become an intriguing camp battle as Swooped tries to supplant the homegrown talent that is J Doyle. Oh, didn't we bring in a very good linemen from the CFL this offseason as well? He could be the sleeping giant on the line that shakes everything up! Our offense will be a force for opposing defenses in 2015, and Big Frank Should Have a Very Big Role to Play...helping our 3rd down efficiency, Red zone scoring efficiency, touchdown efficiency, 4th down efficiency, AND MUCH NEEDED TIME OF POSSESION which ultimately helps keep our defense fresh and fast! There is so much to say and speculate on this upcoming season, I will stop here. GO HORSE

  3. Grigson has done a stellar job building this roster. In spite what the skeptics and critics harp on him about, he is hands down the man for the job. Coach Pagano has ALL the right pieces in place on the defensive side, let's see how he does with the addition of players at his disposal. I believe Chuck has a process in place that EVERYONE HAS BOUGHT INTO! THE OFFENSE SHOULD BE EASILY THE BEST UNIT IN THE NFL. BETTER KICK RETURNERS...GO HORSE!!!!

  4. Want to thank Mr Irsay for opening up Lucas Oil Stadium for all of us fans fortunate enough to be able to attend the MiniCamp practice. My son and I had a blast with a few other friends and fellow Colts fans while being close enough to the players to interact and receive autographs,pictures,etc...nice to see the newly acquired players whether by free agency or the draft do their thing alongside the vets and returning players. Hope this trend continues in future years as I know it's definitely a crowd pleaser. Thanks to all the players for signing so many autographs and being cool! This Is just another reason why we have the best organization in the NFL...Gonna be another great season! GO HORSE

  5. The Indianapolis Colts have one of the best looking uniforms in all of sports. Classic, clean, and very cool. Although I've often wondered why hasn't the organization approved an alternate jersey or uniform for this great organization? With the Old School Kicking Colt logo becoming more visible the past few years on the sidelines and found on several articles of apparel, why not implement this fan favorite into an actual uniform design? Colors for Alternate uniforms could be: Black Jersey with Grey Numbers highlighted with Colts Blue. Accent Horseshoe on both shoulders below numbers. Matching Black pants with grey stripes highlighted in Colts Blue. Helmet designs could be multi functional making for more then One Alternate Uniform. Standard Alternate helmet could b r Matte Black with Old School Kicking Colts logo in white & Colts Blue with single blue stripe down middle of helmet. Finish with black face mask with Colts Horseshoe faded from grey to white in center of facemask! Black & Blue uniforms as an alternate would catch fire!!!! Especially now that Nike has NFL UNIFORM CONTRACT... All White? Lol...no thanks

  6. Mathis was the best rush linebacker in the entire league coming into last season. Anybody who pretends his loss wasn't significant is living in fantasy land, just as those who try to convince ColtsNation he is replaceable or washed up carries little merit. Sure, he is not getting ANY younger...BUT this is 2015, we live in a day and age where sports medicine and professional athletes have reached the pinnacle per say. Athletes not ONLY are Faster,Stronger, and Bigger then decades past. Today's athletes can perform for a much longer period of time, extending careers of many in just the past decade. With the recent decisions Mr Irsay faced concerning the faces of this organization, decisions were made to move on. They obviously have doctor assurance on the recovery of Mathis and his ability to return as a valuable member on the defensive side of the ball. Take Reggie Waynes productivity level for instance. I love Reggie! Yet his injuries caught up to him the last few seasons which drastically affected his production, and handicapped the offense. Opposing defenses TOOK NOTICE, and game planned against us knowing Reggie Was Not The Same. That said, Mr Irsay made the decision It Was Time. I believe Mr Irsay is engaged in player evaluation, especially the veterans such as Robert and Reggie' cases. A decision will be made based on performance. At this time the Colts believe Robert Mathis Will Be back on the field wrecking havoc on opposing qb's along with Trent Cole and Jonathon Newsome as Werner and Waldon set the edges on early downs. I trust in our organization to continue making All The Necessary (not always popular) decisions to continue advancing this team towards championship contention post Peyton. Go Horse

  7. That's the norm...some people just have nothing positive to say. I am glad to see Grigs & Pagano make the move to pickup a proven veteran and pass rusher. Of course We All could find fault and place blame and or ridicule the organization and their decisions ... Have there been mistakes and or misses on draft picks, free agents, skill players, linemen, etc??? Of course there has been, but I've always felt if you don't make Any Mistakes that just Means you have done NOTHING!!!! WE CANNOT FAULT GRIGSON FOR REMAINING IDLE OR PASSIVE, HE IS QUITE THE OPPOSITE OF THAT!!!! It is a process, and as long as we continue to see this organization continually build up the roster, we can rest knowing the problems wesee as FANS have not been overlooked or ignored from above!!!! Next: O-Line Upgrades... WATCH... GoHorse

  8. So he messed up a couple times...he is a rookie! His upside far outweighs a few bad snaps! He pancaked the leagues best defensive player in JJ WATT last game, something I haven't ever seen happen before! Harrison will get it cleaned up, he works hard. We have upgraded our offensive line with the additions of both Big Jon Harrison & the Manimal Mewhort...DALLAS ISN'T THE ONLY TEAM SOLIDIFYING ITS O LINE, INDY JUST HASN'T WASTED FIRST RD PICKS TO DO SO. ANYONE WATCHING US PLAY COLTS BALL THIS SEASON CAN EASILY SEE THE UPGRADES MADE TO THE O LINE WHICH HAS ALLOWED LUCK TO LEAD THE LEAGUE IN PASSING YDS AND TD'S, MAKING INDIANAPOLIS THE LEAGUES #1 OVERALL OFFENSE!!!! this isn't even an argument...GoHorse

  9. We welcome back #50 Free to the field Sunday!!!! He is a big-time playmaker on the D side of the ball that impacts games on a CONSISTENT BASIS!!!! With the COLTS stepping up and playing good team defense, look for Jerrell to provide a spark for a unit without Art Jones (injured) & LaRon Landry(suspension). This unit should get much more motivated as Robert Mathis returns to the sidelines, although he cannot suit up and wreck havoc on opposing qbs & offenses...his leadership and coaching will be a welcomed boost to a defense still looking for an identity without its undisputed captain and leader in #98...Getting Jerrell back on the field could not come at a better time. Look for him and D Jax to shutdown the Middle of the field and be that leading physical unit we all envisioned them becoming the second we all heard Jackson was coming to Indianapolis this offseason. The defense WILL BE KEY to defending our house when Baltimore visits The Luke Sunday afternoon. After the crushing of weaker competition in Jacksonville and Tennessee, this week presents a much greater challenge on both sides of the ball. I predict a COLTS VICTORY 33-23...GoHorse

  10. T.Y. CAN FLY!!! WE LOVE HILTON HERE IN INDIANAPOLIS AS HE HAS PROVEN HIMSELF TO BE A FORCE ON THE GRIDIRON. IN ONLY 2 YRS his stats are at the top with ALL PRO RECEIVERS. I JUST LOVE HIS ATTITUDE AND WORK ETHIC AS HE NEVER QUITS..TAKE THE SEATTLE GAME FOR INSTANCE ..WE ALL KNOW ABOUT "THE LEGION OF BOOM" AND HOW TOUGH OF A SECONDARY THEY HAVE. FOR A COUPLE QUARTERS they were ALL OVER HILTON MAKING HIM A NON FACTOR AS SEATTLE HELD ONTO A NICE LEAD GOING INTO THE 3RD QTR. Then one of the legion of goons decided to tturn it up and said some things to T.Y. basically questioning his toughness...WRONG THING TO DO!!!! T.Y. FLEW BY THE SEAHAWKS SECONDARY LIKE THEY WERE STANDING STILL TO CATCH SEVERAL BALLS(DEEP ONES TOO) TO HELP OUR COLTS COMEBACK TO BEAT THE EVENTUAL SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS, HANDING SEATTLE ITS ONLY DEFEAT OF THE SEASON. ColtsNation IS THRILLED TO HAVE SUCH A YOUNG & TALENTED RECEIVER TO HOPEFULLY BE PAIRED UP WITH LUCK FOR MANY SEASONS TO COME. I KNOW WE DO THE T.Y. TOUCHDOWN DANCE AT our HOUSE and @ The Luke!!!!!! Nike gonna have a COLTS t-shirt made up with T.Y. CAN FLY in big letters on the front!!! GoHorse

  11. ColtsNation IS stoked to see #83 D Allen back on the gridiron shredding it!!!! He is such a great player on every level at his position. When Grigs got him right after Fleener, I believed it was a solid move that would produce immediate results as well as bring Indy into a different dimension offensively for years to come. IMO Allen is a more polished TE then Fleener...from his soft hands in the passing game and ability to rack up YAC at a more productive rate, to his willingness to get nasty in the trenches by taking on D Tackles/ D Ends/ Linebackers, etc... and not only does he willingly do these things, he does them all at a very high level. Getting Allen back this season will benefit the entire offense as he remains a matchup nightmare. Fleener is better suited as a receiver and I believe Reggie,TY,Hakeem, and DaRick ALL will see coverages that should have Andrew licking his chops as he carves up opposing defenses. TRich,Bradshaw, and Ballard will actually have a chance to hit it hard following Allen's bruising blocks by landing body blow after body blow beating the opposition into submission!!!! Look for Allen to not only produce up to his opening act numbers his rookie year, but beyond those significantly...into Pro Bowl Production!!!!! Welcome Back Dwayne, you are not only COLTSTRONG...you are a MoNsTeR!!!!GoHorse

  12. Overall record should be at least 11-5...with our defenseive additions &Coyers ability to construct proven defensive teams in the past is it coincidental changes are being made? Sitting n watching the obvious holes in our 'D' year in & year out hasn't been convincing enough that channge necessarily wasn't only desired, but needed...now over on the other side of the ball we have Peyton, enough said...better O Line, much needed help at rb, and key offensive pieces returning. 11-5 is the least we go, I believe we sit 13-3 when its all said and done with our only losses coming from Pittsburgh,Houston (once) and Atlanta in a shooout...I will never say New England beats us..period! Any True Fan is with me on that one. L@@king fwd to seeing our new defense crush Belichick and Tom. Go BLUE or go home!!!!

  13. Think we'll lose to the Browns at home? Hmm...

Man... to think we call ourselves fans yet say,'you know we have a pretty tough schedule this year, I sure hope we can somehow muster enough courage to fight off the dawg pound from Cleveland when they show up...I think they will whoop our behinds!'???? What's up with that? I puked in my mouth while sarcastically writing this...wow

  14. We haven't been a good enough run team for awhile. Of course we all want Mannning upright , but as been witnessed over the past couple seasons we are all fortunate to have Peyton...let's move ahead as a multi dimensional offense and a toughh O Line whose ready to drive their opponets back and open huge holes for our rb's to run through...I like the additions of Castanzo & Illajino..bigger, stronger,younger..Go Colts!

  15. I believe in blue! This franchise has got the most out of its players, I would venture to say..more then other teams, right? For all true Colts fans we all seen our defenses over the past years get shredded, as Manning & Co stood impatiently on the sideline awaiting another chance to get on the field. With the FA aquisitions, draft, existing personnel and (Larry Coyers vision for THIS TEAM, OUR BELOVED COLTS) we finally have something to be excited for on the defensive side of the ball since the 'eraser'(Bob Sanders) was flying all over the field as a wreckless missle striking opponets down with unpresidented force...we all need to get optimistic for this upcoming season! Tommy Harris,Nevis,Foster,Johnson(nice to get back),Anderson,Freeney,Mathis,Hughes(can we say upgrade on the D Line?) Now to what Sims can & will bring...as we saw when Brackett went down last yr, Angerer filled in nicely & after settling in became a solid ILB. A rookie, yet smart enough to still lead the defense as the qb of the unit. Him alone is enough to get excited about or LB corp...add last yrs other rookie who filled in for Session(Connor) which he played above most expctations as well. Bring in Ernie Sims to go with these two young up and coming staples in a defense long overdue to make a splaash...Let's play now...Brackett is a good middle LB,great captain & leader( he will solidify this group into Elite status as the revamped D Line stuffs the gaps and gets after the Qb...I am juiced that Irsay,Polian & Co have finally seen what each of us has seen as weakness and strengthened it NOW...( I will leave the O Line additions for another post) we will be better, NFL..here comes the blue stampede AGAIN!!!
