Really? I thought Davis looked lost, like a deer in the headlights. I understand he was playing with our 3's, maybe they'll play him 2nd next week.
heck all three of our back ups looked like that not just nate davis but i like how he was getting out of the pocket,he really didnt do much throwing wise but
he was fast if he does more with the pass he could be a good back up just sayin....

well orlovsky did shine at times but seemed like davis was more consistent

I actually like the idea of housh comeing to the colts,line him up in slot beside wayne or collie,think about it,housh is a good receiver he has good hands to,wayne and garcon out wide and clark & housh splitting the middle......if you ask me thats a db's worst nightmare,or we could utilize him to get collie and other guys some rest in between...

thats one of the things i love about the colts,its like we have two sets of coaches,the franchise's coaches,then the veterans
castonzo will be a force by next year i think,he will have a on and off year,but a good year this 1st year....he has alot to learn
like orlovsky said the colts offence is like reading rossetta stone,about some exotic language

but you gotta look at it this way,the lions tampa 2 defense and the colt tampa 2 are going to be coached differently i think they will utilize him more as a rush stopper

I think simms will be a great benefit to the colts,we needed a big LB with size,
gary brackett is best when he plays a team that likes to throw short passes or
screens,but i think simms will be able to stop the run threw the middle better.
sommthing the colts have struggled on for a while....

i say put nate davis in and use him for special downs,and back up he didnt pass that well last night but he was with the 3rd string,he did show alot of speed getting out of the pocket tho....it would be nice to have a qb that can move around alot and make plays to back up manning
