Why do fans think they have better info on drafted players over NFL teams?

Peyton should have been able to retire a Colt. No one but Irsay is to blame for this.
Keeping Peyton would have not only been stoooopid..it would have killed this franchise.

Very good running attack
A super bowl QB
The play action pass would actually work there
If Peyton is healthy, they have an excellent chance to go to the SB

I love my Colts, but will have a second favorite team to root for next year
he talent was there the fault of not winning is much more on them the mag't weather we want to admit it or not our "stars" in many games just didn't show up in those games and that includes Peyton.

I don't disagree with that. Again based at least on the story ESPN was running there seems to be hope, even if it's small, on the Colts side of things they can get him to re-do his deal. Also like I said unless you just a deal you feel no one is going to top no matter what it makes sense to hold on to him till the draft and see if you can get someone to anti up a little bit for him because they need a pass rusher and didn't get the one they wanted in the draft or free agency. If that doesn't work you can always release him after the draft if you can just get nothing return for him or trade him for cheap during the draft.
Didn't Freeny already say no to a restructure thus the reason he is available?

You're right this fan and many other don't understand cutting Peyton.. I don't understand how I can listen to the Herd today and hear the comment "you'd have to be completely looney to keep Tebow instead of taking Manning" , how is not completely looney then to "take Luck over Manning"?....seems just as absurd to me....
A. Tebow is not in Lucks league talent wise.
B. Broncos are not rebuilding...Colts are...
