Probably but at the time the schedule was made Manning was still in the picture as a player.

I know right now this team is not good but what i would like to put out there if we do end up with the the #1 pick everyone is saying Andrew Luck is our pick. Remember when Peyton was drafted there was another Very good QB that we didn't pick and yes it was a blessing we didn't pick this QB but that aside the QB was supposed to be very good and turned out to be a bust. Most QB's picked #1 don't pan out very good but there are exceptions to everything. Maybe Andrew Luck will make it in this league maybe he won't. H is a good player at Stanford but who knows how it will turn out when he turns pro. I do like how he conducts himself and have not heard anything negative about him so maybe he will workout. but there is a saying the grass is not always greener on the other side.
That being said no matter win or lose i am a Colt fan. I put up with the half truths being said about the colts here in Baltimore. i have been a Colt fan all my life both when they were here then in Indy. Since 98 we have been spoiled by having one of the greatest QB's in the history of the NFL. This time was bound to happen at some point. the only thing is this way was handled all wrong by the FO. Let the bandwagoneer's jump ship then us loyal Colt fans will be left. I have enjoyed the run but i am prepared for some lean times at this point.

.And Collins started off good, 9-12 for 88 yards. Is a solid game, combined with a good running game. But he just fell apart in the 2nd half.
That is not decent yardage numbers. run yardage not bad but passing yardage stinks. i think Collins complete one maybe two passes in the 2nd half can't with like that.

won't win with only 96 yards passing. we have 93 yrds. rushing but passing for that little won't win games.

Can we all say this is the most over matched the colts have looked in 10+ years?
Probably. But for the rest of this i will reserve judgement til after the browns come to Indy and se how the Colts play. Collins should be better and hopefully someone lights a fire under the whole teams butts after this fiasco

Well so far everything has gone wrong for us first shut out since 93 seems to be real unless we can do something right. wasted opportunity of Brackett's int there. Just as i was ready to hit enter the fumble happened so maybe we get points

Early still but two fumbles in a row is not acceptable. gave Houston two short drives. Yes with Collins doesn't have a lot of time with the offense but still this is rediculous and the defense can't stop their running game and can't tackle. 1 play at a time now.

We shall now see what this team is made of. We have been spoiled for a long time with Manning at the helm. this day was going to come at some point. by that i don't mean an injury like Manning has but either retirement or some type of injury that wasn't career threatening. Now thee rest of the team needs to step it up and all the Colt fans out there need to get behind the team even more. I believe this tam is still a very good team it just has to find other way's to win like the defense stepping up and being a stingy defense and the offense has to find a way to get the running game more involved. O-line needs to step up it's play. have Faith in the Colts

i agree. Try living near Baltimore where you get the Ravens and half truths of why the Colts are now in Indy. Been a Colt fan all my life. I remember the heartache of SB III and the SB win over Cowboys. The rotten way the Colts got rid of John Unitas. Bert Jones and the near miss of a pass to the late great John Mackey that would have beaten the Raiders in a playoff game that the Colts hadn't seen in a while. The move to Indy. Colt fan for life.
