  1. I believe if the Colts are smart they will go ahead and trade the number one pick to the highest bidder. If it's worth the 5 picks that everyone is saying which is probably correct I mean look what atlanta gave up for Julio Jones then do it. We take those picks and reload our team and hope Peyton can go next year. If he can't sign a veteran to stand in like an Orton (I'm not saying he is our savior or anything like that) then draft a QB next season (BARKLEY). Or invest one of our picks this year that we get through the trade for a QB. I'm just saying if Irsay wants to ride the Manning train and I think all real and loyal Colts fans would love to see 18 suit up and make another go at it then we trade the pick and not worry about all the trouble of having two QBs or cutting Manning. BUT this all hinges on if Manning neck is healthy and he is a 100% ready to go. If not lets draft Luck. What do you guys think?

  2. haha yes to manning. I really want to see Manning back on the field but lets say if he can't play anymore b/c the surgery didn't progress correctly do you think he could step n into a role for us that quickly. I'd love to see him stay in our organization no matter what.
  3. Who would you rather have in Indy? Or maybe a Turner or Reed if they get the axe. I think Andy is a big stretch. I know we might not get either one but they would be a major upgrade. I personally like Gruden and have him grab his bro to OC for us. I also want to hear who we might get GM. I like the idea of trying to add someone from an established franchize or someone who has turned one around. I may be crazy but I'd take the Lions GM if we could take him he's done a great job but I'd rather have someone more established.

  4. Which colts fans will finally admit that it's time for a change. There is no way we should be this bad we always hear about the next man up philosophy I'm ready for that to happen with our coaching staff. It's a joke and I'm tired of watching Jim just stand there with a stupid confused look on his face.

  5. Purdue, as a college has the most number of QBs to win a SB - Griese, Lenny Dawson (I think I got the name right), and Drew Brees

There are lots of Purdue players that have done well in the pros. However, our rotten luck, we have been stuck with the likes of Gilbert Gardner and Curtis Painter, Brandon King (who is no longer with the team) :(. Did I miss other Purdue players we have gotten in the Manning era???.

Yeah we haven't had much luck in the Purdue players we have taken in recent years.

  6. Yeah b/c we all no Purdue QB's can't win.......OH wait Brees won a SB and the only reason the bears played us in one is b/c Orton won them a lot of games that year. I'm not saying I want Orton by any means but that kid can win.

Orton and Painter....gee whiz, an all-Purdue QB corps!!

    <game show buzzer>!!!

  7. Just so you know......Kerry Collins' contract with the Colts is for two years and $14 million.

The deal includes $4 million guaranteed in the form of a $2.5 million signing bonus and 2011 salary of $1.5 million. That's what his deal is and if you think we actually keep him next year and give him 10 mill you have to be crazy. So he's getting 4 mill from us this season.

  8. I love watching Mike and Mike but Greeney last year predicted the 49ers to go to the superbowl and they both picked them to go 12-4. So don't buy into anything these guys say they just like to get stuff going but the colts going 8-8 that deserves to be on Keyshawn Johnson's COME'N MAN!

  9. Addai is the last guy you want to get an injury while on special teams play. He's too valuable to the offense.

I couldn't agree more. We didn't pay him a ton of money to get hurt on special teams. This guy can still play I'm tired of everyone knocking him and Donald and the special teams. There is common problem with our Offense and Special teams and that is the blocking. I think the draft picks this year will help improve both special and O line problems.

Has anyone been talking about Kirkpatrick? I'm excited about him as a Center and could be the next Jeff Saturday I think.

  11. Nice. What you said has me fealling much better about the DT position. I like the sound of Nevis, Harris, and Johnson. DE looks good too I think. If we get the improvement I'm hoping for, our LBs will look better too.

I think Ernie Sims will make an impact this year for sure. If you look up his stats for the years he was with the Lions he led the NFC in tackles for those years. That's what we need.

  12. Mostly from local Indy reporters at camp and people who attended camp. He's been practicing with the 1st team and he's been turning quite a few heads. Seems everyone who has talked about camp has made mention of how well he's done.

With Tommie Harris now being available to practice we'll see if Nevis stays with the 1's or gets moved to the 2's. I'd say when it's all said and done there will be a fresh, HEAVY rotation with Nevis, Harris, and Johnson as our "three starters" to keep Harris fresh, and get Nevis playing time if he could potentially become our franchise monster DT.

Nevis will make a great pass rushing DT with his speed and power. I think all the Colts fans will know his name by the end of the season really well.
