1) When the Colts cut PM, it will trigger an immediate $10.4MM cap hit to 2012.

2) Any new contract will just add on top of that.

3) Therefore, any new contract, in order to be more cap friendly than the old contract will need to hit the 2012 cap less than $6.6MM ($17MM-$10.4MM)

Its common sense, if he could throw 50yds peyton would have already been cleared by the colts doctors... thats the only reason why he hasnt been cleared is because he does not have the arm strength yet... you dont need to be practicing with him to know that.

Ok reports say he's been throwing but nobody no how long and how far so no it's not common sense. His on doctor told him to play if there were a game this weekend.

3 years before Manning was here, the Colts were one dropped pass away from the SB? Remember that? The hail mary to Bailey? He almost had it. Harbaugh had a 100 rating in the regular season.

I find it laughable that no one Bwants to give ANYONE else except Manning a chance. The logic is basically with Manning the Colts are going to be great and in the SB hunt every year, without Manning they are going to be doormats forever. Lol. IMO...Why would you want to rebuild a team without one of the greatest players to ever play the game. Ya I know he is getting up in years but Manning works hard at what he does. People keep saying to throw Luck in and move on from Manning. Sounds a bit crazy to me. I want to win now. And Manning gives us the best chance to win. It takes leadership to rebuild. You have to have a solid foundation before you can rebuild a house. Also you need experience. All this about throwing Peyton away is crazy and I hope the colts organization keeps him.
