  1. Alrighty then, I'll take it then as you've said that you don't lie, but not deny that you haven't. We will just leave it at that :nutz: . Btw I don't condone it, but yes I've admit everyone I've known on the face of the planet has lied. Now that's honesty.

I don't believe you lol... Jk

  2. if Luck doesn't pan out why is it Isay's fault. look at all the QB's that were good in college that failed after being said they were great. you can only go by what you see on tape and hope that it translate to the next level. Luck or whoever we draft is going to be under a lot of pressure to perform due to who they are replacing. it is unfair to judge them on the basis of a future HOFer he is taking over for. I for one hope Luck is all they say he is but if he is not we will have to look for another QB. We all have been spoiled by a great QB and we all didn't want this day to come but it has and most fans ar not dealing with it rationaly. Though i wish the circumstances were different but they are what they are and i knew this day was coming a bit sooner than i would have liked but it has so deal with it

Ok I am man enough to admit when I'm wrong. I spoke alittle to quick.

  3. Ah so you've never once told a lie in your entire life whether it's a big lie or a small lie?? That's great to know we have a Buddhist Monk on the forum.

I never said that. Just stated what I don't do. I don't lie and you can call me a monk or whatever I don't care. I'm not going to try to convince you either way. But I do have guidelines as an adult I don't cross. But if you lie I'm fine with that just don't expect me to believe a word you say....

  4. Hate is a very strong word to use towards someone that had the toughest decision he's ever faced. I would bet Irsay hasn't had a good nights sleep since December. This was equivalent to firing ones own son. What if he decided to keep Peyton, trade the pick and next season Peyton sucks or gets put out for good. Now how are you gonna feel when we are stuck with a crappy backup again? Irsay was in a no win situation with the fans no matter what choice he made. Put yourself in his shoes and ponder that for awhile and then come back and tell us if your still going to hate Irsay for his decision. If your a Manning fan than just go follow him where ever his road leads. But if your a true COLTS fan read my signature and live by that!!

Irsay could have kept Luck and Manning, he himself said it wasn't about money... I love the colts and always will no matter what but I don't have to like the decisions they make... Look most of us hatred Caldwell...

  5. First of all you are saying that I am kicking Manning to the curb but I didn't say anything except that everyone has a right to post their own thoughts and never once posted a thought for myself. I have been around long enough to keep my personal thoughts to myself so don't accuse me of doing that. I have a lot of respect for Peyton and always have had and will continue to do so.

Your allowed to your opinion but don't bash others when you don't really know their opinion.

    I was agreeing with you!!!!

  6. Okay sir, let me ask you something. Do you really think Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Eli Manning, etc., give any of their reps to QB 2? Does that make any sense at all? Let me make something clear, Curtis Painter sucked, because he sucks. End of story. It had nothing to do with the fact that Peyton took the reps with the first stringers.

Technically wouldnt you be better if you took all the reps with the second unit and then got to play with the first unit..... Ya painter sucked bad

  7. Well if he feels that way he has a right to post what he feels as you post what you feel. That is what a forum is for posting your thoughts. JMO

Your exactly right. People some of us just have a passion for winning and that's what Peyton brought to us. I don't care that some of you want to kick a hall of gamer to the curb and start a rookie which to me sounds more ridicules then just keeping Peyton. But that's my OP...

  8. Lol, my point was we all lie. Weather it's a big or small lie, we do. No one tells the truth 100% of the time. Anyone who says they do is well, lying. 

I don't lie... So speak for yourself!!! If luck don't work out and I'm not going to crucify him but I will hate Irsay.

  9. I've said this before, but I'm going to say it again.

I'm imploring all of you. Please, regardless of how you feel about how the situation with Manning was handled, please do not take it out on Andrew Luck. That isn't fair, he had nothing to do with it. He's just another young man trying to live out his dream of playing in the NFL. Like it or not, he's most likely going to be our starting QB for the foreseeable future. He's going to need us fans to support him if he's going to be successful.

Please, I'm begging all of you. Don't blame him for something he had no control over.

I have to agree with you although I'm really going to miss number 18

  10. Its his cross to bear......and I want him back to bear it

I want him back too. Just don't think we should take the whole team and place it on Peyton's shoulders. We have been very inconsistent in every area accept for the offence other then the running game. Give manning a ok defense and somewhat of a running game and we would be talking 2 or 3 rings right now...

  11. Let's start by looking at some facts.

Does Manning make bad players look better. Absolutely!

Has Manning been able to lead this team to the playoffs? Absolutely! Has he been able to win more than 1 SB in 14 yrs.? No!

Now, Manning is coming off of 4 surguries and despite what many like to state as fact and say he is 100% healthy, we don't know that for sure.

He is 36 yrs. old and hasn't played football in game action in well over a yr..

Add that to the fact that Reggie, Garcon, and who knows who else likely will not be back and the fact that the Colts are in rebuild mode and we have no idea what were going to get even with Manning. For anybody to say unequivocally that they do know, is absolute crap.

I have stated over and over that Manning deep down may not want to be a part of a rebuilding process at this late stage in his career. I know that is difficult for some people to absorb, but it absolutely a possibility.

I know this topic is just going to keep going and going till we get an answer, but we can discuss it till we're all blue in the face and it isn't going to change a thing. some people are ready to move on and others are wanting to hang on to the past. In a perfect world, Manning would come back for a yr. or 2 at a much reduced rate and show Luck the ropes, but this isn't fantasyland. Irsay is going to do what he thinks is best for the franchise and we'll find out what that is hopefully sooner than later so we all can move on and look to the future of the Colts and people can stop arguing about something none of us can change.

There is no I team... Peyton should not have had to drag us into the playoffs year in and year out.

  12. Well, IMO it is obviously Peyton (not sure how ANYONE familiar with the Colts doesn't instantly recognize Peyton's mannerisms/body-language). And it appears to be Duke's practice field.

Seeing this video is very encouraging. I'm liking the scenario where a rested and ticked off Manning returns. And I am really going to enjoy watching Florio, Shefter, Mortenson, King and "Noodle Arm" backtrack from their "Manning is gone" mantra.

    Agreed

If you watch about ten seconds in after he throws a deep pattern the way that man is walking back to the line. if it's not Peyton then someone is a very good impersonator

  13. Lets break the monotony of the Peyton saga and get some good debates back into the forum.

Who do you feel is the most overrated Colts player. Both amongst us fans, and nationally. Let's try to keep it to the past 20years.

Me personally. I say Dwight Freeney. Followed closely by Dallas Clark.

    Discuss.

I can't agree with you on Freeney. I think on our current roster Garçon is overrated very inconsistent.

  14. You'd be so very wrong. It was a light hearted quip, which was dangling right in front of my nose. If you can't take a bit of banter, stay off intenet forums my friend. However, If you found my post offensive, I apologise, as that was not my intention.

I apologise as well. I am just so tired of the negative with the colts...

  15. It is always good practice to to be objective and review the known facts and be skeptical of other people's conjectures, good or bad.

If you want to believe in fairies, unicorns and rainbows, that's fine. However, most people rely on facts. And sometimes, the facts are not pretty.

Really you had to go all immature with the fairies and unicorns oh and last time I checked there is such a thing called a rainbow. Look you bring all this little kid talk into it if you want. But I choose to stay positive. I have had surgery and was told I would never be able to do things again let Alone in the time span I am doing such things...

  16. So Freeney has lost a step or two (debatable) so he should be cut, but Manning coming off all the procedures he has had and who in all likelihood will have lost some MPH off his fastball should be kept because he works hard? Interesting.

The thing is nobody has even seen Peyton throw.

I don't think we should kick Freeny to the curb. I think Peyton deserves a chance like I said before we gave Sanders chance after chance we gave Marvin a Chance also. I could be wrong and I'm not to big of a man to own up to being wrong. But I believe Manning will be back as a Colt...

  17. Your being a huge manning fan should not have anything to do with calling me a negative person.

You are and so is most of everybody on here. Anytime something positive happens between irsay and manning or manning injury people get carried away and turn it into something

  18. No, I am not a negative person at all. I am just realistic, and aware of some details that many are not.

All I'm saying is I am a huge manning fan but I am even a bigger colts fan as well I want to see them win as much as anyone. And manning gives us that opportunity we gave number 21 chance after chance and we all want to just throw manning away after a season. Everybody knows if he had a better defense we would have way more rings then we do... I would rather cut freeney cause I think he has lost a step or two and he's getting old but somebody who works like manning does I don't think we should even be thinking about cutting ties with...
