  1. Brackett was getting to old.

Addia never lived up to his potential.

Clark was an overrated slot reciever, but still had excellent hands.

Bullitt was another Sanders minus the actual play making ability. Plus he didn't like to wrap-up his tackles.

Painter wouldn't and shouldn't have ever been our teams third QB, let alone starting QB. He will never start in the NFL, except for practice squads.

Manning will end up throwing more INTs than TDs this upcoming season, and it will stem from his injury.

We are heading into the unkown, and I like it.

  2. People will always forget that it was Irsay that really turned this franchise around. When his father passed away he was given the reigns, and he truly has been one of, if not the best owner period. I stand behind you Jim and the horseshoe.

  3. I think the Polians are the equivalent of most college professors, they refuse to admit their mistakes, and rarely fess up to the bad decisions. He passed on MJD, and now everytime we play him he lets us know how he feels. Chris was incharge, and in the end he wasn't close to being as good a judge of talent as his old man. I liked Bill, but when you have issues with pulling the triggers on Safford, MJD, and Mallet, then you are just causing heartache. And yes most people thought those were going to be our picks when our team was up to bat.

  4. First, Yates was decent, but the team was number one with Schuab, and the offense dosen't fit Manning as it involves a lot of roll outs. Second, Peyton loves the Colts fans more than Favre ever loved the Packers fans, so I don't see him wanting to build any type of resentment towards his fanbase by showing up once a year in another uniform. Third and final, he is going to Miami, you don't understand how big of a Marino fan Peyton is, and his home there only makes it that much easier on him.

  5. We need to get Luck some fresh meat to help build up his self esteem. Saturday is a shell of his former self, Wayne needs Manning, and looked poor without him, and Garcon is a liability. Manning started out with young guys learning at the same time as himself, so I say you get Luck some fresh meat and let them all learn together.

  6. I've said this before, but I'm going to say it again.

I'm imploring all of you. Please, regardless of how you feel about how the situation with Manning was handled, please do not take it out on Andrew Luck. That isn't fair, he had nothing to do with it. He's just another young man trying to live out his dream of playing in the NFL. Like it or not, he's most likely going to be our starting QB for the foreseeable future. He's going to need us fans to support him if he's going to be successful.

Please, I'm begging all of you. Don't blame him for something he had no control over.

GOOD GOD!!!! Finally a real Colts fan that sees the true way a fan should be viewing this news. I love Manning, but in the end he got his dreams, and his money. We all payed Manning a lot of our own hard earned cash, and now he is done. Maybe not from football but from the Colts. Luck is our future and if you don't like it then please for the love of the horse shoe LEAVE!
  7. This just goes to show how bad the Colts fanbase is. We have about 60% bandwagon jumpers, and they are all butt sore about this. I can't wait for all these simpletons to jump off permanently so the rest of us can fully appreciate our team.

  8. 2009 was good but what happened last year? I work with a Steelers fan and he's ecstatic that Arians is gone and made a point to voice his concern about our new OC.

Yeah, but in all honesty Steeler fans love the run game, and really love tradition. Rooney saw the team was getting away from traditional Steeler ways and so he let Arians go. The fact that players are dissapointed in his release is what sticks out in my head.
  9. Oh yeah, his D was the worst on 3rd downs, but need I remind people that the Chargers have only one real pass rusher, and he was injured for four and a half games this last season. I see him cominng to the Colts and opening up our playbook. Schemes for third downs can only do so much with talent that was more predicated to stopping the run (Chargers). He'll be a lot better for us than that rediculous Tampa Two.

  10. So sick of the "true colts fan" nonsense. We're all colts fans or we wouldn't be here I LOVE the colts. The organization earned my respect with the way they handle things, the integrity, Tony Dungy was the MAN. It just hurts my heart to think of Peyton Manning anywhere else than here. And for Irsay to "if he's healthy, he's a Colt" and then go back on his word is hard for me as a COLTS fan.

But he's not healthy, duh! I watched the Colts before Manning, so maybe I have an ability to accept him being gone, but to say he is being wronged when he clearly is trying not to accept his situation and making things harder than they are is really more his fault than anyone else's.

Listen, Manning had a great run, and sadly it was cut short, but his compeptitive instincts are becomeing his own downfall. My father had the same surgery, and yes it is a fairly comon surgery, but even my dad who's surgery was done by one of the best Dr's for said injury told my father he would have to change some of his ways, like how he grips objects and picks objects up. Manning just has to accept the hand he was dealt. Howie Long said it best when he said some surgeries are to much for a player to overcome.

  11. You know an offensive cordinator isn't alway's the only one calling the plays. What if Tomlin is the one who was pushing the playbook on the field? I still remember Tomlin inherting this team from Cowher, and he just seems the type to me that wants things done his way, and his way only. I will give Brucey an honest chance, and will be happy to at that.
