  1. So sorry we lost yesterday but I am so proud of our team and our coaches and our owner and our fan base.  Can't wait till next year.  According to all the sports pundits out there (and even some of our own fans) we far exceeded expectations.  So even though our season is over, I want to thank each and everyone who had anything to do with our COLTS NATION.  Together we will succeed.  And as many sages have said in the past, this too shall pass (the agony of defeat).  Love you Colts and let's all stay COLTS STRONG.

  2. OK, maybe I'm just tired of all the negativity.  I was at the game today and it was one of the most fun games I've been to (I'm a STH so go to almost all the games).  In spite of the strange turnovers (both sides), questionable calls and non-calls, mistakes on everyone's part, we managed not to fold but come out with a W.  There were SO MANY good things about the game and the Colts as well. But the best thing of all was we won and our guys just really seem to pull together and play together and no one was hurt.  Oh yes, and the 12th man managed to outoud the "piped in crowd noise".  It's just too bad that so many of us COLTS FANS on this forum choose to pick out and focus on the negatives instead of enjoying the W.  GO COLTS, now let get another W against Houston (even if its an ugly W).

  3. Oh happy day.  My season tickets arrived today.  So football really is just around the corner.  Now to get my parking pass and let the games begin.  GO COLTS.  Seriously, can't wait.  For now, though, we can just rejoice in Training Camp.

  4. I was able to upgrade yesterday (April 10).  I was in 451 row 9 (under BL zone) and moved to 431 (corner) row 4.  My goal is to get in the 300 level -- don't know if that will ever happen.  Anyway, I'm very happy with the upgrade I got. Not only am I closer but now I'm on the side of the stadium closest to where I park.  Can't wait for the season to begin.  I'm already suffering basketball withdrawl (though with the Pacers playing as well as they are, I still have a little to watch)... but it's the COLTS that I'm really missing.

  5. Andrew was the first pick in the NFL Pro Bowl draft. Yea, I know it's pretty meaningless, but what fun (not to mention a good time for Andrew and the guys who are there.  Good to know that Coach Pagano REALLY thinks his (and our) QB is worth the #1 pic.  Who knows, maybe I'll even watch the game.

  6. I'm in disbelief that our fans are dissing this team.  Sure, we may have not done well tonight, but all in all, we have way overachieved over and above anyone's expectations.  Now is the time to let them all know how much we appreciate all the wonderful winning moments they gave us this season... I'm sure they are much more disappointed in the outcome than anyone of us could possibly be.

  7. Here's a link to a great Trent interview with the Cleveland TV station after the trade yesterday.

He seems like a really classy guy -- has nothing but good things to say about the organization that blind-sided him with this trade.  We are REALLY "Luck"y to have him as a Colt.  Welcome, Trent, to the shoe -- we are so glad you are here.

  8. Here are summary stats from the Oregon vs Stanford games to which Mr. Jordon refers.  Seems to me, other than the two picks, Andrew had very good games.  Perhaps it was Oregon's offense that was the victor and NOT Mr. Jordon's defenses against Andrew.

Top Performers 2011 Oregon vs Stanford   (Oregon 53 Stanford 30)

    Passing: A. Luck (STAN) - 256 YDS, 3 TD, 2 INT

    Rushing: L. James (ORE) - 20 CAR, 146 YDS, 3 TD

    Receiving: G. Whalen (STAN) - 9 REC, 107 YDS, 2 TD

Top Performers 2010 Oregon vs Stanford  (Oregon 52 Stanford 31)

    Passing: A. Luck (STAN) - 341 YDS, 2 TD, 2 INT

    Rushing: L. James (ORE) - 31 CAR, 257 YDS, 3 TD

    Receiving: G. Whalen (STAN) - 5 REC, 78 YDS, 1 TD

At any rate, hardly something he should be bragging about prior to the match-up of the Colts vs Miami.  GO COLTS.

  9. My favorite sections are anything in the 300's.  I have season tickets now in 451 and really like those as well.  But when I didn't have season tickets, I always tried to get something in the 300's.  There are only 5 rows of seats at that level and most of the fans are fantastic -- no "other team fans" available.  The 200's are great as well. Can't wait for the season to start.

  10. Totally confirmed -- Wikipedia already has him playing for the colts.  They are pretty fast updating their stats. Here's their write-up.

LaRon Louis Landry (born October 14, 1984) is an American football safety who plays for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Louisiana State University (LSU), and earned All-American honors. The Washington Redskins selected him with the sixth overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft

  11. Here's an NFL.com link to vote for favorite Manning-Brady match-up

Right now, the 2003 AFC Championship game is winning so we need all the votes we can get for either the 2006 championship game or the infamous 4th and 2 Game.  Whatever game wins will air March 16th on NFL.com

    GO COLTS and GO HOOSIERS!!!!!

  12. I think the blue and green are reversed in this table ie green should be $1260 and blue should be $1040.  I checked on upgrade requests and got an email that said the following:

"If you wish to try and move your seats for the 2013 season, you will need
to fill out a seat relocation request form.  These forms will be
available once renewal invoices go out (around late January/early
February) and will be due back to us by mid-March.  You will also need
to go ahead and renew your current seat location by the early March
deadline.  Once you receive your renewal invoice, you can either contact
me to send the form to you or you can print one off colts.com at that
time. Onthe form you will just indicate all locations/criteria where you would
like to try and your seats.  You can add/attach any notes to best
explain what you are trying to do.  We will then go through each request
in order of seniority date and try and fulfill the best we can per
availability, once we know what is available from those that did not
renew.  If we are unable to fulfill your request per your indicated
criteria, you will remain in your current seat location."

This was from the Colts Customer Service.  I would guess that we should be getting info any day now.  Can't wait.

  13. Best news I've heard all day (besides the Pacers beating Memphis 82 to 81).  I think Andrew and Peyton will get along marvelously.  They are both super professionals and besides, I bet they really like and admire each other.  After all, if I remember correctly, Peyton's advice to Andrew to return for another season at Stanford was at least partially taken in account by AL and therefore we got him instead of the Carolina Panthers.  It will be fun at least watching the news coverage up to the game itself.

  14. In his press conference yesterday, Elway said "Your salary is earned in the regular season but your legacy is earned in the post season." and while he didn't exactly say that this loss was a doomer for Peyton's legacy, it was implied.

Elway has been getting alot of heat from Broncos fans for the salary paid Peyton since the results were not what they (Broncos fans) thought they would get.  And, unlike Colts fans, they (Broncos fans) have no loyalty toward Peyton what so ever -- they only want him for the wins (sort of like Kentucky basketball fans and their players).  So now, best case scenario, Elway is trying to cover his actions for the salary -- worst case scenario, he is secretly happy because now his own "legacy" may be viewed better.  I have been suspicious of his bringing in Peyton ever since he said he could now "help" Peyton become the greatest ever.  At any rate, it seems to me like he is taking stabs at Peyton while covering his own actions.  Maybe I'm just prejudice becaus I pretty much dislike Elway severly.  And, I'm sure he is still slapping himself on the back for how well he "got rid of" Tebow.

  15. Here's a great quote from an Arians interview with ESPN as to leaving INDY.

On why he and the Chargers haven’t set something up yet:

“I think all that’s gonna take shape. If Tommy wants to reach out and the Chargers want to reach out, we’ll listen. It’s just a timeframe — Chicago was the first ones to ask for permission. I’m going to give them the first interviews. … I have a great job in Indianapolis. It’s going to have to be a perfect fit for me to leave what we have done here, and not just to jump out to be a head coach. It’s going to have to be a perfect fit, and obviously my relationship with Tommy makes it a lot easier.”

Here's the link to the article:

Great knowing he would prefer to stay with us rather than take the wrong HC position.  I, along with Andrew Luck, selfishly hope that's what happens.  I don't think Jim (Irsay) would have any problem matching $$$ with whatever BA is offered -- so knowing he's only going to take the right fit makes me feel MUCH better.

    Can't wait till next year!!!!!

  16. Thank you Colts for giving all of us fans a fantastic season. I couldn't be prouder to be your life-long fan. Can't wait till next year. I bet they (our Colts) are already "practicing". Lets all give them a very warm and hearty welcome when they return to Indy. Who would have believed this story at this time last year (or even more, at the beginning of training camp).<br />

  17. I'm so proud of alll of them. This is the first time I can remember when the Colts have lost in the play-offs and I have not been totally bummed. I'm sure that's because our expectations were so over-exceeded and because this team just has the heart of a winner. Besides, I can rationalize that had we won and gone on, next year would have been impossible to live up to our expectations. Now I'm just looking forward to an incredible year again next year and many, many more playoffs for these Colts. Also, now we can all whole heartedly cheer for Peyton -- would have been impossible to do had we won. Thank you Colts, everyone of you, for a most fantastic and fun season. BTW this was my first year as a season ticket holder (thank you Peyton) and it could not have been better. How glad I am that I went ahead and became one, even when our team looked like another dismal season ahead. I'm sure we are back to the years-long wait list again.

  18. My sister and I are seriously considering driving over for the game.  Tickets are still available on stub-hub and it's only about a nine hour drive (give or take).  Is anyone else planning on going and if so, do you have any plans as to hotels, dining, etc?
