Can you imagine if KC or BUF added Taylor, what he would do for those teams? Be crazy to not throw a late 1st out there for Taylor.
Those offenses already work without a 10M plus a year RB. What Taylor wants to be paid.

Kirk has much more experience so it is nice that he has played fairly well in their high powered offense. Unfortunately he has only a dismal 4 career playoff starts. Burrow has 7. Kirk earned his reputation by throwing too many interceptions throughout his career and not being able to get his team into the playoffs.
Manning had a dismal 7 one and dones when we typically were one of the SB favorites. His D's gave up an average of 23 pts in the playoffs. Our scoring had a big drop-off in the playoffs in those losses. Reminds of a few playoff losses to the chargers and of course to the Patriots.
And of his playoff run in our SB year. 3 tds 7int.
Burrow has played behind a dismal o-line so far but has shown that clutch factor. I would pick Burrow.
252 TDs to 105 career INTs. Most INTs he's thrown in a season is 14.

That's like caving in to whiny child.........let his butt rot on the NFI or IR all year.
That doesn't make the problem go away. You've got Z. Franklin bumping his gums on twitter in support of JT. There is divide within the organization. Who's next Pittman?

Trade or release ASAP. A trade won't fetch much, but it's best for a team in a rebuild phase.

Giving a RB a huge contract when he is coming off an injury is poor team management.
There are more red flags than just that. Potentially not fitting the offense, RB shelf life, and the Colts are in rebuild mode.

Don’t forget too that JT showed up over 30 minutes late to report time too
So Wth is going on
Taylor is tying Colt RBs shoelaces together while no one is watching.

Ehh. I remember, long ago, when Hank Aaron signed a $250k contract and folks thought “man - that’s a lot of money to play a game.”
Babe Ruth was paid $80,000 annually in the 30s. Hank Aaron was before my time, but JT ain't got nothing on either of them two in terms of resume, production what have you.

I have a signed Darius Leonard helmet. I hope he does play again. Just not counting on it.
I'd say the odds are against Shaq playing like Darius ever again.

Don’t disagree. Just don’t think he’s going to play competitively - ever again. We’ve seen this story before.

LT or WR. I think the Colts are to vested in Edge, but if there is a top CB available they could go that direction.

So much for the holdout and RB Pickett lines. It's unfortunate to be forced to provide for a family on only $10M. lol

His one yard up the gut runs will surely be missed!

It's to early to say. If, AR doesn't play well from TC through preseason, then Minshew starts the season. IMO AR shouldn't and won't be forced to start if he's not ready. But there will be packages for him to run I'm sure. Very excited to have a new QB.

You think Stafford is elite? Do you think Cousins is? I don't but his numbers are very similar if not better than Stafford.
I like Stafford but he is far from an elite QB.
Stafford in his prime was elite QB on some terrible Detroit Lions teams. Cousins is a good QB, not in the top tier but good.

Wasn't he a decent edge setter?

Top QBs win SBs. Top RBs don't. It's rare for a RB to just take over a season and it hasn't really happened in decades. QBs taking over a season happens every year. You chase what wins until you get it, you don't bet your money on something that hasn't worked for a long time, it's just bad business.
I'd bet money on Daniel Jones not winning the Super Bowl even with Barkley. Jones is just not that good.
When was the last time a less than great to elite QB won the Super Bowl? Flacco in 2012? Then Brad Johnson with the Bucs in 2003? I guess you could argue Eli Manning? The common theme among those teams though were elite defenses, not RBs.
It's rare but the Brad Johnson's and Flacco's should not be looked at like these RPO/Dual Threat QBs, who still fail to dominate post season and SB play on a consistent basis.. It may change with the league lacking in elite passers.

I continue to believe that no QB would have been good behind that Oline.
Sam being sacked 11 times in one game and Foles being carried off in a stretcher is my evidence.
That look when you get fired for the same ****

We need Leonard back, that will help and may put us in the top 10. CB is worrisome, we are young there and teams will test our guys on the deep ball quite often.

It is refreshing now that we have drafted a QB that has unreal potential. A dual QB for once that looks electric. I am just along for the ride on this one.
Rivers was good, but couldn't carry the team. Why screen passes stopped after Rivers retired, is mind boggling, because they were effective.

I bet Taylor would heal up quickly.
