  1.  Better player development on defense, this coaching staff is not getting it done with these young guys. I think defense is and has been way underachieving do to lack of teaching.

...and we need a couple of Dawgs!

My only issue is this year is like 2020 in the way that we'll probably have Minshew as the starter for one year, and Richardson will take over again next year. Obviously, this is a good thing in a vacuum, but it's just the fact that we used a QB that only has one realistic year with us again before trying to use a young QB next year and starting over with a new QB. Except this time, it's real, and this time, we already drafted him.

Maybe I'm being a bit pessimistic, and I should have more fun with the team, but I need to at least make the playoffs minimum to be happy with the year. It can't be another playoff collapse like it was with Wentz. The injuries have really worn on me. It hasn't even been a particularly high number of injuries; it's just been the specific players that have gotten injured.

To Ballard's credit, the depth has held up, and the pass rush has been much better. This is the best team he's ever had. Which makes it all the more frustrating Richardson is hurt and Minshew is the starter. That's after all the unluckiness with big picks being injury busts.

It is fun beating the Pats and Steelers in the same season, but the Pats have 3 wins, and the Steelers have Trubisky as QB. I realize we have Minshew at QB, but it's like picking on your bully after he's in a wheelchair later in life or something and bragging about it that you got your revenge.

I'll probably change my mind if we get into the playoffs, but we need to get there first. I'm not going to lower my standards to be satisfied until we do. Happy so far yes, satisfied no.

Push them bullies down the stairs and celebrate.🥳

  3.   IMO Leonard was a shell of himself on the game day field and likely just as lackluster on the practice field. With this in mind,he can't possibly be the leader he once was. Couple this with his fat contract and noticable change in attitude there has to be a distraction in the locker room.

In defense of Leonard, none of this is of his choosing. I think he was playing over his head with his smallish frame at a big boy position and is not likely to ever recapture that magic. I'm sure this is rather depressing for a dude who was playing at such a high level.

It just seems to me that he can't do it anymore no matter how hard he tries. This is leading to a sad depressing situation that left unchecked will lead to resentment, better to cut ties now.

That said... Thanks for the memories 53 and God bless you 🙏

The failures mounted once BB became GM too, IMO. BB should have stayed in his lane to be HC/DC all the time and not be the GM for stockpiling talent. The drafts have been downright mediocre for the Patriots, coasting based on past laurels.

He had his D and special teams ready while Brady and McDaniels together took care of the offense. The roles were intact and once a certain side had to compensate for the other, the imbalance, like with any other team turned them to a mediocre to a putrid team at times. In year 1 of Mac Jones, when McDaniels was still there, they played good balanced football and managed to be a playoff team.

BB has been GM from day one in New England.

It could get worse for Colts fans.

What if Levis comes out in the Titans game and throws for 350+ yards and 3 touchdowns and torches the Colts defense ?

What will the reaction on this board be ?

Considering the state of this defense 350 yards and  3TDs+ is very likely. Seems like a great spot for a young QB to gain some confidence... look out Colt fans.

It’s one thing to lose because your just not good enough. Then you can accept that and try to get better players. What makes this worse is we are just giving games away just like last season.

This team looks NOTHING like last season, they played their guts out today!
