[As a Colts fan, do you want McDaniels to do well in SB?]

Regardless of what happens, I expect the online response will be calm and measured. 

 

In no no way would anyone online use it as an example to forward their narrative - whatever that may be.

And he is coming from an established culture (and I don’t just mean a winning culture) to one that will need to be established. That takes time. Winning will obviously speed up buy-in, but there will be adversity. 

 

IQ seems very high. How much has he grown his EQ?

Read an article on his recovery and they had this quote in there from him:

 

“I feel like I’m doing great,” Hooker says. “The next thing for me is to get better every day, create my extension and my bend and then once I do that, that’s where the running and all that stuff falls into place. That’s the main thing for me this offseason.”

I think TY could do some great stuff in that offense. Maybe Rogers can too. Moncrief probably won't be back and it'll be interesting to see what Ballard does there. The good news is I don't think you have to be an elite WR to do well in that type of system.

Agreed. 

 

I actually think we could see a big overhaul of our WR corps. It will be interesting to see how they evaluate our current players and where they will find replacements.

I couldn’t agree with this more. This would also help us in the draft as the rounds unfold. 

 

Problem will be that many many teams will prioritize Norwell and we will have to pay the man. 

 

Either way, when free agency opens, it should be a fun time

Not only is our pass rush that bad, we blew 5 fourth quarter leads and 7! halftime leads (which was one shy of a NFL record). We had injuries, sure. But we lacked the defensive scheme and the players to disrupt many offenses in 2017.

IMO, the best move for the Colts is to trade back. One guy will not fix this roster. For example, if we are fortunate enough to sign Norwell, we will be better but still far from complete. If we can trade down and pickup Chubb, a linebacker, and a guard or tackle in the first two rounds, we will be much better off. Obviously, a lot will depend on FA.
