Ummmm...... apologizing on a fans internet message board is NEVER a bad thing. Never.
Wish more people here would understand that. I've apologized a number of times here and I'm sure I'll need to apologize more in the future.
We're all here pulling and cheering for the Colts. Being polite and respectful from time to time is a good thing.....

the 07 D with the hit squad secondary in Sanders/Bethea/Hayden/Jackson was really a special unit. damn shame that Freeney got hurt because that was the best Colts D I've ever seen.

these are not the Steelers anyone is used to seeing. they are a 'phony' 4-3 right now.. they are a below average team. only reason they have a chance Sunday is because they're at home.

you really dont pay much attention to our line do you? how many sacks were given up by our tackles as you put it suck? have you seen holmes play to say hes not qualified to be our starting center?
kinda funny that you accuse me of not paying attention, then go on to completely misrepresent my post.
1. I never said our tackles suck. I said our line lacks an above average starter... and yes, I do believe both of our tackles are average. I don't care about sack numbers, much of that has to do with Luck's awareness/elusiveness. it is not a rare sight to see Luck running for his life.
2. again, never said Holmes wasn't qualified. I said he wasn't proven, which can't really be argued at this point.

what exactly is our o-line missing? a center? we dont even know if holmes is out. ware and miller? ware isnt the pass rusher he use to be and miller has taken a step back the last couple of years.
what is our OL missing... any sort of proven center? an above average starter at any position?
Miller played half a season last year. the year before.. 18.5 sacks. Ware is past is prime but if you think he's not still skilled enough to get the best of our tackles on occasion, youre crazy.

could easily see DL and LB rising or falling a tier as the season progresses. I have high hopes for both units but I'm tempering my expectations.

We also have our second round pick in Ijalana who is developing to be the right tackle. We need another lineman but we need a center or guard not a tackle.
