  1. I spent money on Season Tickets for 30 years before I moved, saw many crappy teams and still loved the fact that good or bad, we were chosen to have a NFL team and all that comes with it. I never booed a player. But I also get that it was raw emotion and disappointment when we had such high hopes for this season and beyond. I am in shock also, but I have to much respect for the guys who put their body on the line so I can enjoy this game. God speed Andrew and go enjoy your family and new baby!!!

    DROY?

I meant Defensive Rookie of the Year. sorry about that sir. And yea I kind of forgot how good he was because of being bummed about my favorite team was struggling and him getting hurt so early. But the clip got me excited about him all over again and really look forward to him playing healthy next year.

Glad to make your day. I know I made a mistake so sorry about that. and like I said, he was hurt early and with the Colts playing well, not so good, it is understandable that a player that is hurt, can somewhat be forgotten about. I just meant to say that the highlight clip got me giddy about him playing hopefully at full strength next year. He is a beast and will make others better that are around him. and again, I am glad you got a kick out of my post.

  3. Wow, I forgot how good this kid is. If he hadn't been hurt he might have gotten ORPY or at least been in the running. Cant wait to get him back on the field to help this defense.

  4. I am a displaced Colts fan out here in Nebraska and does anyone know if the ceremonies for the statue are going to be streamed? I sure want to be able to see this. Its such and important event. Wasn't sure if any of the TV station website were going to carry. Any info would help and GO COLTS!!! Thanks in advance.

  5. Well to get a tougher schedule like the Manning days, we need to win and become dominant again. I don't mind easy schedules, and given the fact teams get better in the off season, like we hope the Colts did, you never know from year to year. That's why they play the games. Easy schedules are ok, but if you win on those terms, you get a false sense of getting better. But like Ballard says, he wants to be the team people prepare hard for instead of the team that has to do the preparing. I love this approach and along with his competition at every position mentality, I think we are on the right track. I cant wait for this season, and even the Pre Season is going to be fun to watch with all the changes and really wanting to see and expecting good things from the new guys we have. I think we had a good draft to build on and this Ballard guy is getting us going in the right direction.

  6. Anyone here see the movie about Brandon Burlsworth. He was drafted by the Colts and he died unexpectedly. He was  the lineman that work those thick black glasses. It id called Greater and it is on Vudu. If you have a chance, give it a look. Didnt know he went though so much. Good story. Just thought I would pass this along for those that would be interested.

  7. Saw that he was a free agent this year. Really good RG on a pretty good team. He might be demanding some money, but he is only 26 yrs old. And if we are going to spend ant money in free agency, he might fit the bill. Expensive but young. No more aging lineman please. If your going for youth, go for quality over quantity. What say you?

  8. Is it just me or do more teams that go to the Super Bowl have outside stadiums? It just seems that the teams that play outside have the type of players we want here. Teams that have real good defenses on a consistent basis seem to be teams that play in the elements a lot. We tend to play good at home, but if we have to play outside in extreme weather we tend to not do so good. I wonder if we practiced outside last week in prep for New England. We should have put in some irrigation  in Lucas Oil so we could play in tough weather. Why have a retractable roof that cost millions more to have if we dont use it to our advantage. We need to learn to get down and dirty in the rain and snow because most of the time that is the type of weather we have to play in at playoff time. Then if we get to play inside it would be a bonus. Just a thought.
