  1. I’m looking for ideas of  places to take kids when in town for the Raiders game? It is there first time to the city and colts game.

Any Restaurant suggestions? Can’t miss sites that might interest them 11 and 14 year olds?

We are going to walk the canal for starters.

    Thanks for any help!!

I’m hoping for Nelson, will settle for either Barkley or Chubb as the consolation prize and looking for the trade down if those 3 are off the board by our pick. If a qb that Denver doesn’t want is on the board, maybe Denver trades for the picks with bills or Miami for that 5th spot giving us Nelson. So many different scenarios to occur here.

I agree with you about all the scenarios.. Either way I think we’re getting a dominate player be it Nelson, Chubb,or Barkley.

This draft has a lot of good centers that can also play guard or started out as a guard.  We need interior Maulers and I would not put it past Ballard, however to draft Nelson at 6.(Pure guard)  This trade has me excited about protecting Luck and building the defense.

I personally love the 3-4, but am anxious to see how we play the 4-3.  If it is an aggressive D with press coverage and new speed we can keep the offense on the field.  Excited to see the draft and continued Free agency.    Bmc  :coltslogo:

I agree with you about being anxious to see how we play the 4-3. I’m just hesitant to be sold on it after the many years of getting run over by opposing rb’s. Fingers crossed!!

  4. No luck shouldn’t be involved with team decisions.. He’s a great player and great players make other players around them great. He’ll take what coaches and management give him and control what he can.

I believe Lucks in good hands, I can’t wait for the season to start!! And hoping for a great rb for Luck to hand off to!!

    Things of appeal:

    Andrew Luck

    Likeable Head Coach (unproven)

    Chance to start

    Nice Stadium

    History

    Not so appealing:

    Indy city life

Not seen as a win now team.

I agree with all but the “not so appealing”.Coming from a colts fan that lives in Harrisburg,Pa. I would say the city is appealing, I’ve been to both football cities in Pa and find Indy to be a much nicer city.. just my opinion.

And as far as a win now team, I’d say anything is possible with Luck!!

Folks, it's no big loss, only money.  Colts need a new leader on the field.  Luck was never a leader.  I've never seen a teams "leader" abandon his team mid-season to travel out of the country in an attempt to recover by "working out and throwing footballs" as Luck stated was all that happened in Europe.  Why leave your team for that?  After which, he returned to stand in the shadows on the sidelines; not proactively engaging his team during games.  Never once did I see him go up and down the bench getting in the faces of his teammates in an attempt to rally the troops.  NEVER!  He just stood there looking like a deer in the headlights.  I've seen Peyton Manning, Brett Favre and Tommy Brady do that many times.  Luck clearly has no interest in playing football (in IND or anywhere).  He is NOT a leader.  The Colts need a leader with heart and passion (which Luck clearly lacks).  As I said before, and I'll stand by it, I think the Colts need to draft Baker Mayfield with their first pick.  He will not be Johnny Manziel 2.0.  More like Drew Brees 2.0.  He's grown; he'll bring the team back to life.

    Funny!

  7. Yeah m not sure about that... remember we did have some great years before all the injuries.

Im not saying he shouldn’t go, just saying injuries sure played into the disappointment.

    2 problems with that statement.

    1) He's about as much of a running QB as Peyton was.

Jacoby ran a 5.0-second 40-yard dash at the combine.

There are offensive linemen that run sub-5.0 40s.

    2) This is Jacoby's first full season playing, so he's much closer to being a rookie than a veteran.

I don't think the draft is gonna change this team to SB contenders we are not 10 players away its more like a couple holes and clean house on coaching staff and get luck back and we are AFC South contenders again

I agree. With a healthy team and the real starters in I believe we’re right back in it. The oline does need some upgrades though.
