I seriously doubt they go Ragland in round 1 I personally think its a smokescreen but if they do they must be trading back to do so.

Lets not forget Dwayne Allen won the John Mackey award coming out of college over Fleener who had Luck tossing him the ball his whole career. Also he didnt really miss any college games at Clemson so can we please stop with the injury prone crap. I wish people would stop wishing bad on him cuz I dont really see any glaring weaknesses in his game HE'S IN LINE FOR A CAREER YEAR

I'm with ya on that Allen will benefit from not having fleener here and fleener should have a decent season as well only because it's Bree's who's throwing the ball and he loves tightends lol I also choose Allen over fleener because he's a threat in more than 1 area and in the redzone he's more superior than fleener surprisingly
The truth of the matter is that Allen was the superior player in college and still is the superior player now nothing has changed but Dwayne Allens OCs

SMH and you guys call yourself colts fans. Dwayne Allen got what he deserved and you will see that next year without Coby Fleener in the fold. I guess everyone just somehow forgot he won the John Mackey award in college as the nations best TE even over Fleener who had Luck tossing him the ball.
I mean the guy is a multi dimensional tough hard nosed football player that is a red zone threat and a chain mover. Just look at his rookie season where he clearly outshined Coby Goldilocks Fleener. And please dont bring up him being injury prone because he wasnt injury prone in college and its sad that injuries are the only point you try to make against him. I also forgot to mention that Dwayne Allen lines up in the backfield and can play some fullback if needed just to throw that out there.
Fleener was clearly let go because of those reasons and the fact that he was a One Trick Pony with DHB hands. Oh did I forget to mention that he couldn't shake his 1st defender or block which the NFL is on the verge of eliminating chop blocks which makes him a 2 down player. Must I go on? But I'll just drink my tea like everyone else and ignore his deficiencies.
Dwayne Allen will play with a chip on his shoulder this year to prove all naysayers wrong. You talk about Luck holding on too ball for too long is because Fleener couldnt run underneath routes which Allen excels at and has great hands to match.
You guys just watch! Im calling it now Breakout Season.
P.S. Jim Irsay and the whole colts organization was happy to re-sign Allen not just Grigson even Chudzinski wanted him more sorry they didnt say or feel the same way about Goldilocks.

Fleener is not that good he's average at best cant compare to Dwayne Allen end of story. Grigson made the right move
-
Im just going to assume you are Coby Fleener fan since you cant get Dwayne Allen name right. He's been here 4yrs now. (Excuse will be spell check)
-
Im glad thet chose Dwayne Allen and rightfully so. I am now 2for2 on guys who i thought they would let go but didnt im Chuck Pagano and Dwayne Allen
-
I liked the Thrasher wish we would have kept him
-
I want Geathers to start SS but i would much rather see Lowery starting with him and move Mike Adam's to a rotational role
-
Marvin doesnt do alot of talking so when he does its you be quiet and move along

With TY, Landshark, and Dorsett, how are the Colts thin at WR? You aren't going to pay fleener decent money just to be a backup receiver.
You have been playing a little too much madden 16 bro.
(P.S. I always moved Andre Johnson to TE and traded Fleener)

Bottom line is this Dwayne may lose a few bucks for missing a few games just like Fleener should lose a few bucks for being a one trick pony.
We need what Dwayne brings to the table more im sure every player has been injured a few times in their career and bounce back to have stellar careers.
One thing Fleener fans dont realize and i wouldnt want to replace him but is he is very inconsistent he has a big game one week and invisible the next few weeks again i like Fleener tho.

I realize this. However, for our current era, Allen can't stay healthy. That's the bottom line here, no matter how you or others try to spin it, the facts are he's injury prone and replaceable. If we do bring him back, i sure hope it's cheap and incentive laden based on staying healthy. Period
Just like Fleener fans say about his well documented below average blocking skills are a myth Dwayne Allen being injury prone is a myth.
We need what Dwayne brings to the table more than what Fleener does BOTTOM LINE you Fleener/Stanford fans need to realize that.

Yea i pretty much feel like if Luck doesnt break out this year than he is overrated.
-
So the fact that coby fleener was just named in the top 10 buyer beware free agents means nothing to anybody like it just flew right over a lot of colts fans heads because of this so called Stanford connection.
This so called stanford connection needs to stop your just overrating whoever the player is not named Luck or Anderson. Griff Whalen stanford connection Sucks, David Parry stanford connection Sucks, Coby Fleener decent at best.
Fleener to me has reached his ceiling plus it doesn't hurt to play with the same QB you went to college with. I just do see what a lot of other colts fans see in him. He has maxed his potential out which is average.
Please stop with all the stanford connections you are just overrating the player especially fleener
-
I think Dwayne has pretty much proven himself on the field he's got great play on tape. I mean Fleener is decent one dimensional TE. You guys will pretty much overrate and Stanford player linking him with Luck.
But to be honest I believe Allen would be a much better compliment to the speed we have on the outside with his chain moving, run blocking, and red zone prowess JMO..
Also I believe everyone knows who the superior player is. Like Irsay said you pay your homegrown talent and you dont just let talent walk out the door that easy
-
The franchise has to be protected at all times 1st and foremost which would have helped the defense if they weren't on the field so much but the pass rush was so terrible its right up there with the O-line there like A1 to A2
-
Maybe its just me but i think Dwayne Allen should stay and be paid. I believe i would be a huge loss to the team in terms of leadership, on field production, and what i know what is he and will become.
Im not here to compare Allen and Fleener although I think they both should be retained at all costs but if they had to choose it should be Allen (All Stanford Connections Aside).
We always talk about how the game is won in trenches and he contributes there just as much as he can vertically admirely well. The man deserves to stay at all costs even if it means losing Fleener.
All injuries and injury bug aside he is still young and will continue to get better and is less likely to continue moving forward its not like he's had a major injury.
Dwayne Allen is a hard nosed tough player which we need more players like on this team he also brings physicality and toughness to balance out the finesse we have on offense. No other player gives us that on offense as well as present the mismathes that he does.
I would be disappointed to see him not retained and i don't believe that they will but I was hoping Pagano would retained when I also thought was unlikely at the time.
I just hope Irsay and Grigson can get something done.

RGIII and Johnny Manziel both will look to try to resurrect their own respective careers. They will not sign to become backups at this point in their careers.
They will both try to go somewhere where there is an open QB competition or a starting QB job available we wont be having any of those here anytime soon.
Wont happen I'd rather have the Thrasher

Im glad to see an actual teammate of peyton speak his mind and totally agree.
I mean for as great as peyton numbers are he just faltered under pressure clutch situations. I hated how he always just flopped when a defender was closing in for a sack.
Im 100% a colts fan always have been and enjoyed the success with coach dungy and peyton and wouldnt trade our 1 super bowl for anything.
But Reggie was right Peyton was mainly at fault for his 1 ring and idc how other teams were built because at the end of the day the game was usually in peytons hands at the end of games.
Please dont block me im not a troll just agreeing with Reggie on this one.

1st things 1st Vontae had down year compared to the standards he set for his self and I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he was nicked up this year also everyone knows what a bad pass rush can do to a secondary.(I mean Darelle Revis had a down year if you ask me).
As for Pat Mc and Ol Vinny thats another story.

I disagree. His contract status doesn't change anything that I mentioned before. Coaches get fired with years left on their contract all the time.
More ammo against...
Just saying if he had another year left on his contract this season wouldnt have warrantied him being fired under unsual circumstances.(I'll bet my poker chip on it)
BR ranks Vontae the 39th ranked cornerback

He has a down year to his standards but I look forward to him having a bounce back year this year with better cb2 play and the pass rush. I also think he will look alot healthier
