This has become a bit shocking now, week after week somebody screws up. So who gets it next week?
-
You really think so.
Hasn't the T-Rich example dragged down the 'lets give up stuff to acquire a back' thought.
How many undrafted free agents or CJ Andersons are running well.
IMO the whole Richardson situation has made a lot of people on here gunshy about taking an RB in the earlier rounds, and instead rely on UDFA's and late round picks (which is very hit & miss)

The elite jerseys are an exceptionally high quality. I bought a Luck one last summer, it's a really nice jersey but in no way is it worth what they are asking for it.

What is happening? This stuff never used to happen, now it's seems like someone gets arrested every other week!

As long as we're spewing crazy theories here's on for your...If Wilson does make the throw he is named MVP, then over the offseason Seattle re signs Wilson to the biggest contract in the history of the NFL, beating Luck by several millions. Seattle, with the help of Carroll, also sign Lynch and Bobby Wagner to huge deals putting them in salary cap HELL. Yet Seattle still manages to go 3 for 3 and win the super bowl in amazing fashion with...MARCUS MARIOTA??? That's right Marcus Mariota, a trade orchestrated by Carroll to trade Seattle's '15 & '16 1st rounders for the local favorite after Wilson gets his knee blown out by a stray ball in the batting cage at Rangers spring training, ending his season. With the now super star Mariota and the million-dollar-man Wilson, the locker room divides between the 2 and it get way out of control. In the middle of all the chaos, Carroll announces his retirement, he can't take the stresses of the locker room anymore. 1 month after his retirement he pulls a Brett Favre and begins coaching again as the San Francisco 49ers new Head Coach, expressing his true love for the 49ers and his deep animosity towards the Seahawks, therefore wanting to ruin the Seahawks for the next decade. Now with the 49ers, Carroll transforms them into yearly super bowl threats, also turning Colin Kaepernick into the second coming of Steve Young. With things looking great in San Fran, and things still in turmoil in Seattle, Carroll rides off into the sunset at age 75 with 7 super bowl titles. How's that for a crazy theory.
I do like Mike & Mike, but I wouldn't really trust any reports they have, they're not the most credible source .
-
He had so much promise, so much potential, he's wasting it.

To top it off i heard on both Cowherd and Mike & Mike (Mortensen said it)that the 1 ball that was under 2 psi was the one the Colts turned out over that set this whole thing off. There's lots of reports that need to be corroborated. Some of them conflict. First it was all the footballs were 2psi below. Then it was they are "closer to 1psi than 2 psi" below the limit, and this report says 1 was 2 psi below the limit and 11 were a "tick" below the limit - whatever that means.
All these reports together is basically what I meant when I said grigson (or the NFL) needs to explain a few things. I thought most knew of these reports.

My memory really isn't the best, but I vaguely remember someone (i thought it was grigs) denying starting anything, my mistake there. How in the world did you get that Grigs denied contacting the league office out of that article (or any other article/story)? He never said one way or the other.
Furthermore, who cares. If, in fact, he did, he was just doing his due diligence. I seriously doubt he or the Colts care that much about this--it is more about competitive balance and assuring everyone follows the rules, not about grinding an ax, etc.
-
This whole deflate-gate is really getting out of hand, but I hope grigs really didn't do anything

Did he or didn't he tip them off? He said when all this started he didn't, but now others are saying he did.

Brady will most likely be suspended for most of the year next year for his involvment with deflategate So it will be two years from now before you have to worry about him. Thats what I think should happen anyway.
Where is all this suspension talk coming from? I haven't seen any mention about a possible suspension at all.
-
that's why I said possibly. How's that?...the Pats could very well go back again next year. Colts have lots of work to do to over take them in just one offseason. The gap between the two teams is significant right now.
-
The silver lining is that this could possibly be the last SB for New England for a while. Belichick and Brady aren't getting any younger, and when they go it's all gonna go down hill.
-
Wow....you loose so you fight? Really?
-
Isn't Lynch there for that exact situation?

I decided to take a shot at this, not sure it was the greatest of drafts, but it filled some needs.
29: R1P29
WR KEVIN WHITE-WVU
I couldn't believe White fell to me at 29, so I had to take him.
61: R2P29
RB DUKE JOHNSON-MIAMI
we need a running back, Johnson was also the BPA, so this was a no question pick.
93: R3P29
CB KEVIN WHITE-TCU
he had a good senior bowl which lead me to take a chance on him. Attacks the ball and is very physical player, would help a lot for depth.
125: R4P29
DE HENRY ANDERSON-STANFORD
this guy's is built like a tree with powerful hands and has the ability to shed blockers.
157: R5P29
OLB TONY WASHINGTON-OREGON
had a good '13 and '14, he con definitely help with depth, can be a good compliment to Newsome and Mathis.
189: R6P29
DT JAMES CASTLEMAN-OKLAHOMA STATE
I explained him earlier, he'd be a good anchor to the dline.
192: R6P32
ILB BRYCE HAGER-BAYLOR
he was the leader of the Baylor defense, whether it transfers to the nfl is a different story.
219: R7P27
S TEVIN MCDONALD-EASTERN WASHINGTON
this was just depth pick, because I'd like to believe we'll get a safety in FA.

The only realistic things I see on that list is showing Richardson the door and drafting a running back. Colts won't do much in free agency, they never do (I hate that they don't). Suh will never happen, after luck is signed I don't think they'll want to hand out another big contract. I think Grigson will continue to go after the project guys who he thinks will pan out and be a steal. All just my opinion though.
-
Anything better than 11-5, luck having 15 or less turnovers, a respectable running game, and at least a ACCG berth with a competitive game.
-
You seem more angry than Colts fans with this post. I guess you can call a season a failure if you want but the Colts were not expected to get to the champ game and they went into Denver and won - in dominant fashion. I think that is something to feel good about and be encouraged. NE has had their number since Pagaon/Luck. They will learn from this and get better.
Seems like we say that every year, then the same thing happens again.

Here's one for the road... ESPN(and everyone who commented on it) feeling sorry for us.
Despite the loss, congrats to Andrew Luck and the @Colts on a great season pic.twitter.com/83JwjqQ4NI

This sums up my thoughts since it was 31-7.That was terrible to get embarrassed like that. What's worse is that the Colts are not even close to the Pats league. It doesn't look like the Colts will win against the Pats for years to come.
Save the I'm not a real fan crap or bleed blue or whatever it is that people that accept losing have to save. I spend hard earned money on this team with all of the merchandise I buy. The tickets and the 5 hour drive to show support. And for what? As soon as Andrews new deal gets worked out he will be the top paid player in the league. Meanwhile, Brady takes pay cuts and gets his team to the Super Bowl year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year.
Is it justified to ask for an apology for this embarrassment of a game?
-
What's worse? Already knowing we're going to get slaughtered by then again next year
Yep, pretty much it. Also having a false hope thrown into you all week then to get hit in the face with the shovel know as the Patriots...again.

GB had so many chances to put this away. They choked every one of them away. Absolutely pathetic.
Interesting article

I say do it, if given the opportunity. We're pretty likely to go defense in the first round anyway and DLine is a very big need, probably a bigger need than ILB.
