1-3. With a win against the Jags. I'm really hoping we can hold up with the injuries to Mathis and DB.
-
Yeah I'd pick up Cobb as well. Your starting lineup looks about right, the only thing I would keep contemplating is Spiller/Leshoure.
-
Our luck with injuries is just ridiculous. I am looking forward to seeing Hughes step up though. He didn't really impress me when Freeney was out, but who knows, maybe this time he will show what he's worth.

I know I've been posting in the fantasy section a lot, but I need the feedback lol! Anyways I give up Jamaal Charles and Julio Jones in return for Darren McFadden and Reggie Wayne.
My thought process is that McFadden will bounce back and Wayne is a stud, while also being one of my favorite players of all time. Another note is that McFadden and Wayne have already had their bye weeks, so in essence I get an extra 2 weeks of productivity.
-
While I think Avery and TY will step up, I think Allen could have a huge impact on the passing game if Wayne is having an off day or something. It is so hard to account for Allen when he is utilized so much for blocking.
-
Yeah I'm dropping Olsen instead.. It just tickes me off because I just spent like $11 dollars for Olsen now I'm dropping him lol. Oh well.
-
no no no...You could shop Gates around if need be, but you just don't drop players like that. Get value for him at least. There is really nobody else on your team thats not producing that you can drop in order to carry both Gates and Daniels? I guess if Daniels is even available, this is probably an 8 team league?
Yes this is an 8 team league. But my thought process is this, the team I'm playing has Hernandez and he is probably searching the waiver wire for a TE, so why not beat him to the punch? My back up tight is Greg Olsen, should I drop him instead?
-
I'm dropping Antonio Gates for Owen Daniels, just kind of wanted some feedback/extra opinions.

I'd have to throw this one out there, of course.

I would love to see another Clemson player become a Colt. (As I am a huge Clemson fan) But Deandre Hopkins needs to be looked at as well. He's a junior this year so it's uncertain whether or not he'll enter the draft after this year or return to college for his senior season..
-
The more I watch Foster run behind a Fullback the more I want a Casey or Conner or Mughelli or especially a Vontae Leach. I know some will say we have Allen but seriously he isn't in any of those true Fullbacks league when it comes to run blocking
I agree. A solid fullback could definitely help our run game. I like using Allen at fullback though because of his versatility as a pass catcher.
-
Yeah, I think we all are hoping we address these issues in next year's draft.
-
I hope the Jets destroy the Texans. It makes me sick that the Texans are 4-0 right now. Although I want the Jets to win, I know that won't happen
. 38-7 (Texans - Jets)
-
Definitely the one you mentioned. And the run on 3rd and 7 in the red zone to get the first down.

I'm technically a rookie and it's not a mistake I would have made... Lining up out of position, or a false start, or a wrong route, or an illegal block is a rookie mistake.
Making a fair catch at the 5 is bad awareness and bad fundamentals. Not calling Hilton a bad player, but as the OP stated, there are times he leaves us wondering why that just happened.
I concur. I wouldn't call that a rookie mistake. He's been returning punts before he entered the NFL, he should know better than that. With that said, everyone player makes mistakes and unless it becomes a continuing occurrence (making careless mistakes), just the guy a break.
-
I concur, let's quit all this criticizing. It's getting old.

I like the optimism, but let's be realistic. At best, we might win 10 games. With that being said, I really liked what I saw today. If our defense can continue to play like they did the 2nd half we will be well on our way to a double digit win season. Luck is definitely poised for a great season and I'm excited for the future. Probably not this year, but maybe in the next few years we can build a Super Bowl caliber team..
-
Gah, I love Reggie. He is such a class act.
-
Broncos/Pats game. I'll have to say, that Denver defense is looking pretty bad right now.
-
Lol, I'd love to hear what they have to say now.
-
Quit being such debby downers and don't speak so soon...

The title says it all. Should I start Brown over McGahee? Kind of need a quick response of reassurance. I'm currently plugging in Brown. I think NE's run defense is stout and could pose problems for McGahee. While I also think that Brown will have a breakout game today.
-
It all depends on if he thinks McFadden will bounce back or not. If he is like you, then he probably won't take the trade. Try talking him up a lot, like "once the WR's are finally healthy teams won't stack the box as much" yadadada. Also hype up Hernandez as a potential top 5 TE.
QBs talking on Facebook....(joke)

Where the heck is Luck? This was obviously made before week 5.
