Still can not understand why Pagano is still here
I can believe Pagano is still the head coach. It's not rocket science. Then again, maybe it is.

Enough with the Pagano nonsense already. It's been tiring for a long time. He's not the one who missed tackles, he's not the one who dropped passes. Did he call a lot of bad plays? Yes. Is he the best coach? No. Is he the absolute worst coach? No. People have been acting as though he's the worst person in the world. Get over it. Let's see what happens this coming year. If he blows, then he'll be gone. If the team does good with newer players, etc and the new GM, then we'll see what happens. Plain and simple. "You can't cry over spilled milk".

Winning 8 or more games every year with the most injured defense in the league. Seems we don't take that into account and still expect to beat the best teams in the league.
Players also love, respect, and play hard for him in games. Need to see him with a pass rush to see how good he can be.
Seems people want to get rid of Pagano to get an offensive coach and I don't see how that fixes the defense. Don't care if he stays or not really though. Grigson was the problem to me.
Pagano wasn't the one who dropped a million passes, Pagano wasn't the one who missed a lot of easy tackles.

Receivers that can catch passes and defense that can make tackles.

It's just the Colts being the Colts.

Except for QB, the Jags roster is heads and tails better than ours. They did a number on the Titans last week. And most importantly, they're an NFL team.
And we beat them. I'm sorry it wasn't more of a win for some people, but I'll take it.
I'll take it too.

If the Colts are in it the title should be changed to "Soft Knocks".
-
Definitely get rid of Grigson. He picked poor talent for the most part.

O-line is improving but as someone else pointed out, it needs to continue to improve.
The defense is my concern. They're confused when they hit the field and we can't pressure the QB, which gives him time to connect passes. .
This has to be the worst tackling team I've ever seen. I'm 195 pounds soaking wet, 62 years old. I'm not so sure they could bring me down.

We need LB's who are legit. That's the biggest reason the D was uniquely bad this year. Not to say everything else is great..
I actually forgot that we even had any linebackers. It's become an afterthought.

I"m sick of hearing how the Texans are good and how they won the division. They did not win the division. The Colts handed it to them on a silver platter.
-
I'm thinking the same thing. Is this really the Colts? They can actually tackle! Amazing. Where has this been the past few years?
-
They're very difficult to watch and incredibly frustrating. Been a fan since around '65 or '66. They cannot tackle at all. They continue to ve a very soft team on both sides of the ball. No toughness at all. Undisciplined-look at all the *ic penalties-then again, most of the NFL is like that too I guess. Like someone posted earlier, I keep saying I'm not going to watch but I keep getting sucked in. Then I'm disappointed. Today, since the weather is decent here I'll be going fishing. But I will be checking the game periodically on my cell phone. I may be back in time to catch the end of the game if it happens to be close. One person made an earlier post on this subject about lowering your expectations. That's a good way to look at it. Reduces the level of disappointment and frustration to a point.
That Houston game really was a killer.

It's time for Irsay to blow it up and rebuild, starting with the 2017 draft. This team isn't even fun to watch on TV anymore, much less worth paying for season tickets. The product they're putting on the field just sucks, and most folks could make better use of their money.
Just look at the draft picks since Grigson has been GM. The Colts have had 38 draft picks since Grigson came to town, plus the one they blew on Trent Richardson, and you really have to stretch to find 6 or 7 "quality" starters in the bunch. When you go bust using three out of five of your first round picks for the likes Richardson, Werner, and Dorsett you'll never get there. I'm counting Ryan as a good pick, just because he's had a pretty good season, but time will tell. Grigson's record in FA is also equally dismal.
You're so right about this team not even being fun to watch anymore. I keep telling myself I'm not going to watch, and then I watch anyway and get all * off and bent out of shape. I actually was glad they lost the game to Houston because they played so bad that they deserved to lose.
-
Good for him! He was really the only one who showed up yesterday. I'm glad someone on the team has a pair.
-
Would be very cool if receivers could actually catch the ball.

so true. The Jets didn't even show up.

Joe Robbie Stadium?

I pick option 3. Complete overhaul needed. Keep Andrew Luck. Everyone else goes.
-
I hope you're right. I think they keep it close, but I think the Steelers win it. Of course, the Steelers are not what they used to be either. Again, I really hope I'm wrong big time, but I will pick Steelers 23-17.
Just kind of leery, because I know the Steelers have slaughtered the Andrew Luck Colts at least once, maybe several times.
-
Imagine how good Luck would be if he had an actual team behind him? WOW! What a shame.

That's dumb. No point in doing that
"trade Luck!" Hahaha
And why is it dumb? The team blows big time. I guess you want to maintain the status quo. Enjoy the rest of this season, LOL

what I said 2 years ago. tear the entire team apart and start from scratch. People ridiculed me for that post. I was right on the money. I think a pee-wee team of 8 year olds could beat this team.

Here's the problem with last nights game against Houston. The Colts lead most of the game. They do not know how to seal the deal. They're so used to playing when they're down 20-0 in the first half. This was a new situation to them where they had the lead for most of the game. Uncharted territory.
