Yep. He reached his end here, but he did have some good draft picks. Bethea still playing solid ball for a terrible SF team as well.

Yes he definitely did. It's always interesting seeing old colts. I remember in last years sf-san Diego game it was like a colts reunion. Players like Ricardo Matthews, Bethea, Donald brown and the some.

  2. I see the Colts winning(I've literally predicted against them a lot this season), here's why-the players love Pagano and right now they know 100% what's at stake, it's either win this game or he's gone for good(I understand they've said things like this before, but this no longer is something to tease about, for them it's serious), they're putting a huge emphasis on win at west 56th street. They wrote it one the dry erase board, the media, almost every player saying they have to win etc. They seem to actually recognize what's at stake, and at this point, I just can't see them laying an egg, just can't. (Especially at home).

    Colts win-20-17

Texans miss a potentially game tying fg some point in the game, a defensive touchdown for Indy, frank the tank runs one in, old vinny with 2 fgs and Yates to Hopkins for 2 touchdowns against Davis/brown/toler(if he plays).

Great to see that sack against Cincy that iced the game

You're right...it would have ben difficult for us to keep him (or resign him for the minimum this year) but he clearly wasn't done..

....has anyone noticed that Jacob Tamme has 51 catches for the Falcons?

Holy moly 51??. Bill Polians having an effect throughout the league with his drafted players lol. Unfortunately some of the best players on the colts aren't even grigsons/AC, mcafee, mathis

On offense we got one dimensional because our running game was no good. We started throwing a lot more which subjected our QB to many hits. Very little creativity in play calling, not enough play action or bootlegs imo. We also lead the league in WR drops in 2014. Lost our pro bowl, chain-moving possession WR.

On defense we lost Rob Mathis for 2014. We never were able to get enough other players who could pass rush effectively. This exposed even more of our weakness in the secondary and middle linebacking group.

Thanks, it's just crazy to think how every single season is so different.

The Colts were a completely different team in 2013. 2 stats that have gone topsy-turvy on us since then are:

    • 14 turnovers on offense. Fewest in the NFL by 4, and under the league average by 11.4.
    • 7.3% of opponents pass attempts resulted in sacks good for the 9th best efficiency in the NFL. League average 6.7%.

This year (so far) we have 27 turnovers on offense which puts us right at... First in the entire NFL! We went from the best to the worst in 2 years. And our former top-10 pass rush from 2 years ago - now in the bottom 5 at 4.3% (league average 6.1%) good for 29th.

Basically in 2013 we were very close to being a Super Bowl caliber team. We beat the Superbowl Champion Seahawks, the AFC Champion Broncos, and the NFC runner up 49ers in our match ups with those teams in the 2013 season. Offensively we had the formula down at that time, we just had a horrendous interior OL and an epic bust starting at running back. We had a QB who was could absolutely take over the game but didn't seem to feel the need to force as many dangerous passes as he does now. That was working for us. And defensively it didn't matter so much that we had some holes because our pass rush - mostly thanks to Rob Mathis - was good enough to put pressure on opposing QBs. Sure, we weren't the 2000 Ravens, but we at least had the ability to pressure the opposing quarterback with some measure of consistency.

It's been moving in the wrong direction this year.

    What happened is my question

No.  Its venting anger when people demand firing the coach or GM but then not supplying the name of his replacement.

I'd bet about 90% of the people calling for Grigsons job don't even know one name of a qualified candidate who would be available and better.

I'm sure Irsay could find a replacement within days or weeks. He did the same when firing Caldwell, and the Polians with the regime we had now, I don't see how it would be any different now. I already have one option-Nick Saban, he takes control of everything.. That took me less than 1 minute to think up.
