  1. Is it me or are there other fans out there that think that when Grigson and the Colts draft they have thei thing of getting players no one else seems to be real high on. I loved the Kelly pick, very important pick, but everything after that seemed to come with some kind of question mark. It seemed like every time we made a pick after Kelly, I found myself trying to find out info about this player. I liked the idea of getting help on the offensive line but I thought we had over done it. I can't believe that there was not at least on stretch we could have made to get an edge rusher. We took chances the whole draft. You mean to tell me that after the third round there was not

at least one pressure guy who we could have taken a chance on. At this point, on paper I give the draft a B but it could fall apart by the time September comes around

  2. On offense, it fell as usual on the offensive line, but come on, if you are an NFL receiver you have got to be able to get open and then break away for atleast a few yards. I also believe Luck should shoulder a lot of the blame for abandoning the run. There has got to be a better balance. On defense I thought our Linebackers were lost, as if they were still trying to figure out what there role was. Darius Butler needs to take a reality pill and understand that he is in a bigger spotlight as a starter. And the coaching staff starting with coach Pagano has to be better prepared. This is two games in a row where we have been outcoached, that's sad (AFC championship and today). I do like our guys up front but there has to be some pressure from the line, but in a 3-4 defense the linebackers are big. Bring on Newsome, Moore, and Irving. it is time to set Freeman, Jackson and Cole.

  3. I'm sorry on this one but Grigson is the spoon that stirs the pot. I really think he is the guy making the decisions and Pagano is a token figure.. Irsay also deserves some of the blame in that he has to oversee everything. The sad thing is thou that it seems every championship team never wins the championship with the coach who started the team on the path in the beginning. Parcells was there before Belicheck, . the only exceptions lately are the Giants and Coughlan and Seattle. It's going to take a well known coach to get us over the hump. Enter Harbaugh

  4. I'm a season ticket holder. In my opinion a couple of things are going on here. First Season tickets are expensive as are playoff tickets. The price of your seat goes up for the playoffs, Just look at a ticket for the Super Bowl compared to a regular season ticket for a home game, and what I'm talking about is how much the price of the ticket goes up. The next thing is that the season ticket holder have an option to buy or let someone else buy their seat for the playoffs, a lot of times Season ticket holders do not buy for the playoffs because of the dollars needed. I do not think you can blame season ticket holders for 10,000 tickets going on sale The blame should go somewhat on the public who now have the ability to by available tickets and are not  and to the team for putting out the inconsistent team this year and causing people to not really get behind the team. No matter how you look at it is that it is for 10 games and a playoff game and a lot of cash for a team that is not playing well at this point for the playoffs and I think that affects a lot more teams than just the Colts.  Lets also wait until later in the week to determine if there is more orange than blue

  5. I agree with a previous poster, Chuck Pagano and this coaching staff will not be the one that gets the Colts to the Superbowl.. It happened in San Francisco, Denver, St.Louis, Colts (Caldwell in for Dungy)

Tampa Bay, Oakland, Colts (Dungy, for Mora), it goes on and on. Our version of the Colts is headed in the same direction. And I also think Grigson has to be held accountable to some extent, we are still looking for offensive line help, and Defensive front seven. I also think that most, not all of our free agents have been second stringers or players that at this point have been over paid. I think the only one who has really worked out is Vontae Davis and Freeman. Jury is still out for Arthur Jones, Cory Redding is in the twilight of his career. Bradshaw has been good for the LITTLE time he has played I'm only talking about free agents.

By the way, can't believe we have heard from Mr. Irsay. Tweet, tweet......

  6. Look I realize that the players are adults and for most have been playing the game for a long time, but coaching and front office has to come into play sometime (ex: the hated Patriots and another is Bill Polian) so there fore I see our coaching and front office as a goat that has to be held accountable at sometime. They are better than this, and it is up to the coaches to put player in successful situations. That is the part that bothers me. And yes I know we are only three years removed from the Peyton Manning disaster, And obviously we are not world beaters at this point, and injuries play a part, but the rest of the league is going thru the same thing to some extent and the better, improving teams are proving just that. An improved team does not go thru the four blowout games we have this year.

Show the fans something, call an ace an ace, get someone fired up and accountable, don't just say yeah we did not play well, or that I should have done this or done that, fess up to the reasons and do something about it. Change something and be accountable and motivational that is all I ask

  7. I try to be the good fan and not go ballistic when bad things happen but this team and coaches are driving me crazy for a number of reasons.

        1. First off to those that feel like this team is like the 2006 team, forget it, we do not have a defensive game changer coming back, And the defense is different. Besides everyone who thinks it is the same keeps pointing to the Jacksonville game in 2006. This year we have had the Pats, Steelers, Cowboys, Eagles let alone the games with Washington and Cleveland show us something is missing and a little more effort is needed

       2.  Grigson has not fixed the offensive line. It was a problem when he got here and it is still a problem.I still would like to know why Shipley is not playing. Must be because things work, I know that is stupid, but bottom line is some decision concerning this part of our team has got me scratching what little hair is on my head. we have not protected Luck, and we have no Run game (That spells disaster against good teams) Grigson first draft was a gem, check Andrew luck and T.Y.) but he has been sub par ever since. How could miss with Luck.

       3. I'm starting to really get down on Luck. Some of his decisions with the ball are ridiculous, Some of his decisions as a starting QB are sub par. Yes I know he is under pressure, but sometimes he is not. He is responsible for getting the offense into position and getting us off on the right foot, The last four or five games he has not done his job. I wonder why he has not gotten much of the flack about this team.

       4. defense is that good, especially the front three or four. They never seem to preform any stunts or tactics on the snap of the ball. And if they are suppose to let the linebackers fill gaps that isn't working either because the other team can block us 1 on 1 and the everyone over pursues. Robert Mathis is not coming back this year and Manusky has no imagination.

        5. When are we going to admit Trent Richardson was a mistake. If our players have to man up then our coaches and front office should also.

       6. Lastly I'm beginning to agree with some previous posters that 1. Chuck Pagano is a great person. he was a good D coordinator. And he is a battler, but I'm starting to think he is out of his league as a head coach. We need something, I'm not sure what is but I'm beginning to believe Chuck can't provide it. It reminds me sometimes of Norv Turner and the Chargers. Also Pep has got to go. He is just not getting it done.

7 lastly, the biggest thing we need is good young players, not signable back up free agents, they are also part of the problem.

Just venting because I want so much for this team to win in the playoffs. And yes I understand it is a process, but this is three years in and some of the same problems still remain from 4 years ago.

  8. Grigson is now starting to worry me, can't understand this pick. Not sure where he is going. There are OL men who are established at positions of need for the Colts and we pick a guy who is basically being picked as a back up rather than a starter. I am now beginning to believe that Grigson has painted the Colts in a hole with his trading, and I'm not sure we can make it up. What has saved him for the most part his first three years has been the fact that he had the first pick in the draft his first year, and he was average or less in his second draft. He also had money to buy free agents that helped, Now he is starting in a hole by losing draft picks because of his deals that are considered bold and daring and now he is swimming in quick sand to get picks back and find quality players

I'm not giving up on Richardson, but I'm worried about his choice. He was on our team for a year, he needed to make some progress, he did not, his trade will not kill us at RB this year but because we gave up a pick in the first round to get him we are scrambling to get players to help us, and in my opinion we have failed with the pick of Mewhart..

You need a center and you draft a Utility lineman. You need a safety and get no one. You live and die by the draft!.

I'll live and Die Blue and White but I still do not understand where we are headed with our choices the last two years. Can't figure it out, that is why he makes the big dollars but please

  9. Not sure we have wasted a second round pick, he contributed for two years, We have seen some high picked players only give two years of service and then move on, I do not think it is a true waste, He is up and down, Other teams have went after him, (ex.) the three or four long passes. I do not worry about losing him. There may be a corner in the draft or a second tier player that we may be able to sign with money we save without going over board on him. I'm sure Grigs, and Pagano have a plan. Part of the plan may have been not over paying, and then moving on to shore up something else on the team at a more reasonable price. Onward and Upward

    Stay the course, Go Colts!!!!!!!

  10. I thought he was a roller coaster. Not sure teams went away from him and attacked the other side because we was not as strong on the other side of the D. I thought he lacked  consistently, good for two or three games , poor for three our four games. He failed to be consistent. I know cornerback is a what have you done for me lately, but consistency was lacking. that may have been why Miami gave up on him. I do believe we need other parts for our team, and losing him could prolong our ability to get better in other areas, but I struggle with Davis being a top tier corner. And I struggle giving him top tier money.

  11. Became a Colts fan in 1963. From Northwest Ohio, I was 8 years old. I was on the school bus on my way home and all my buddies at the time had favorite teams. They liked teams such as the browns, Lions, and Packers. I needed a team to fit in so I needed to find one. My father raised horses, so as I was listening to the radio on the bus one day the name Colts came up, so I made the connection and became a Colts fan. I knew nothing about them so of course I proceeded to find out. I was over joyed to read about guys like John Unitas and Raymond Berry, and the greatest game ever played "1958 Championship. I was the only Colts fan, it seemed in my school or even in my county, I became a tight, loyal fan to them I guess because my parents were divorced and I needed someone or something to believe in and the Colts fit that mode. I have been loyal to them ever since. Was ticked when the moved from Baltimore but happy that it now allowed me to see them by attending games in Indy, I live about 3 hours away in Northwest Ohio. Then in 1994 I became a season ticket holder. The first game I ever saw the Colts live was 1968 when they played Detroit in Detroit and Colts won with Earl Morrall

  12. From Bryan, Ohio in Northwest Ohio. I became a Baltimore Colts fan in 1962. My dad raised race horses and I was in the in need of a team, as my other friends had football team (such as Browns, Lions, and Packers) so I naturally picked the Colts. I knew nothing about them at the time and was so tickled as their history began to unfold in front of me. My first memorable game was the 1965 Matte, playoff game, and the game in I believe 1966, John Unitas, playing in the mud at Baltimore went on a run in a critical drive and I believe was tackled by Willie Davis or Dave Robinson, fumbled the ball, Green Bay recovered, went on to the championship and history took over from there.

  13. No Grigson is not to blame, but there has to be a little bit of blame for not upgrading the receivers. The offensive line is a mess, yes, I'm not blaming Grigson for Thomas's injury but where has it gotten better, what kind of back ups do we have. The injuries aside, there just isn;t any depth here and the free agants we have picked up have not panned out as well as the trades we have made. I also understand he has only been on the job for two years, I also know where we was at when he took the job, but I'm sorry, these for the most part are his players,
