  1. Alright guys I'm here to calm everyone down. I have an exclusive source with close ties to the organization. I'm not suppose to really say this but I believe the fan base should know.

Right now, the mindset is sticking with JB. His contract will be up in 2021. If there isn't anyone Ballard particularly like in the upcoming draft,(most likely in the first two rounds) we will stick with JB. Also, Mr. Irsay will call Luck over the offseason to see where he at in life. *wink wink*

There is also rumbling that if Ballard/Reich believe this team can be in the WIN NOW mode, Cam Newton have come up as the guy they are looking at. Bear in mind, If we add dynamic pieces in free agency, Newton will be the most likely outcome. Take it with a grain of salt as you will. You heard it here.

    Peace out,

  2. Before the season began, I predicted this team would go 11-5 with or without Luck. Now, I'm not so sure. Hey, the team could still win out and prove me right but I highly doubt it. I thought Brissett could be THE GUY. I'm not sure anymore after the performance on Thursday. Either Reich run the ball too much(predictable gameplan) or he doesn't trust Brissett with the ball. Like everyone else has said, Brissett is a game manager. He checks down too much. He stares down WRs. He throws are so slow when receivers are open. Brissett slow indecisions/trigger is what give defenders time to cover back wide open WRs.  I could be wrong on all of this and maybe it just was a bad game. But, its very troubling sign for Brissett.

If this season doesn't work out, I hope Luck comes back out of retirement. Maybe, just maybe, Tua or Joe Burrow fall to us in the draft and we can scoop either one of them up. Just my two cents. Back to ballin in basketball

  3. Sup Colts nation, haven't been on this forum in awhile. Just chiming in my two cents as the regular season is creeping up.

My opinion: I'm more on the optimistic side. Luck should be back by week 1 if he really wants to be out there. But, in all likelihood, he'll probably come back by week 3. Luck still have to get reps in and link up with WRs. I really like our team this year. Other than the QB situation, our team is loaded at all the right places. I'm pretty confident we will go 11-5 with or without Luck.

  4. Wassup fam,

Yes, patience is the key this season. This is technically "rebuilding". I think a lot of people on this board knows we are not contenders this year. I say next year is the key. We just need playmakers on the field on both side of the ball. We definitely need a superstar runningback who can run on all 4 downs. A guy like AD in his prime or hmmmm maybe Bell? I wished we drafted Saquan. Running the ball is the major key on offense that could take the pressure off Luck. For defense, I say our young guns are pretty solid. Leonard is a beast. They just need experience playing more. I say play all our starters for the rest of the season so they can accumulate the experiences. Just finish out the season healthy. Come back next season stronger than ever.

  5. I say do it and let Saban have full control of the team. At this moment in his career, he is happy with his Championships at the collegiate level and I think he wants to end it at the pro level. There are news that Saban would have became the HC for the Gaints this season if it wasn't for his wife. If this season Alabama wins another Championship, there is a high percent change he wants to go back to the NFL. He wants that Lombardi trophy on his resume before he retires.

  6. At this point in the season, we need a playmaker on defense who we can count on in critical moments. I don't know if the NFL have 10 day contracts like the NBA but why not give Hardy at least a chance? If he can't make a sack against the Titains than don't keep him. I don't care about his past. As of right now, he haven't committed any wrong doing. All I care about if he can still produce on the field and he would improve our pass rush tremendously if he does.

  7. Head scratcher.....what about the 2nd and short situations? What we need is to go back to the Peyton Manning era playbook. Luck need to throw quick slants when we are 2nd or 3rd and short. I remember whenever we needed to move the chains on 2nd or 3rd, the quick slants 90% of the times always bailed us out.

The bottom line is that Irsay had to make a snap decision to keep Pagano and Grigson because he couldn't find a better replacement. Well if that were to happen you may see a change coming at the end of the season

He could of course bring on a new GM now but who?

If I remember correctly, Mr. Irsay talked to Pagano first. He didn't even set up a meeting with other coaches. That was a mistake right there. Usually you talk to new candidates first to get a general idea if their philosophy fit in with your vision. That is when you at least gave the new candidates a chance and see new ideas. You never talk to your current HC/GM first because they already know your tendencies and can press all the right buttons. Pagano is a great sales person. I believe Mr. Irsay was conned into giving Pagano and Grigs a 4 years extension.

Do you think Pagano would hire him after he just slammed the front office on national media?

I'm so happy he did. I want the whole world to know about our stinking problem which starts at the front office. Mr. Irsay now is staring down Grigs and Pagano like a hawk. If nothing less than a Superbowl appearance this season, I hope we clean house.

Personally I think we are running the football fine hurry up or no hurry up.   How about we stop turning the freaking football over in these games and gifting people a minimum of 7-10 free points, which is forcing us into pass happy mode to begin with?  We are moving the football fine up until guys decide to start dropping the freaking football and killing drives.  It's all execution related in my eyes.  WTH is a hurry up offense going to do if the WR are dropping the damn football?  No reason Gore shouldn't be getting 100 yards if these fools would quit dropping the football and turning the ball over.  That forces us to get away from what we had planned.  Sure we can add more elements of hurry up, but the real issue that needs to be addressed is these suckers dropping the rock.   Guys who are considered leaders on this team are being sloppy and showing up to pick up their paychecks.  Don't want to do your job?  Get to the bench and put somebody else in who does until you figure out what's most important.   This offense is so good that even when we play like pure crap we still put up 27 points.  Imagine what it will be if guys actually did their job to the level of expectation?  DO YOUR JOB!!

You sir deserved to be the new coach. Maybe they invite you for a half-time speech to pump up our team. :applause::thmup:

I'm not saying this will happen to the Colts but last year the Chiefs were 1-5, they lost their all everything running back and most fans were ready to call it a season and work on draft position, the local radio shows were talking about maybe it was time to get rid of Reid and the GM took a lot of heat for lack of talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Then they rattled of 10 straight wins and went to the divisional round of the playoffs.

Hopefully that will be us this season. If we mange to win 11 in a row, we would worship Pagano.
