  1. Howard Mudd used the info DURING the game. BB watched the video AFTER the game. Big difference.

If you knew anything about BB's upbringing, you'd never ask why he did it. His father was a coach at Navy when BB was a child, and his father taught him to break down film at the age of 4.

Btw, you keep forgetting this little fact: what BB did was only illegal based on the POSITION of the camera, not its content.

Haterz gotta, in this case, hate.

What proof do you have Mudd cheated? You dont because he did'nt break any NFL rules.

What proof do you have Belichick did not cheat? You dont because he broke NFL rules.

  2. Pats fans are getting ridiculous here.

I ask you one question.  If the Patriots were not gaining an advantage, why were they doing it?  You are just plain being a homer by arguing they gained nothing from it.

Not only do you claim they gained no advantage, but in the same thread you say it is the same as what Howard Mudd was doing and he was gaining a huge advantage.....   You can't argue both ways.

Did Howard Mudd have an advantage from what he was doing?  Yes.

Was it against the rules?  Not that I know of.

Did the Pats gain an advantage from what they were doing? Yes. If you want to argue no, then please tell me why they were doing it

Was it against the rules?  YES

Just accept it and move on.  You guys are embarrassing yourselves...

    :thanks:

  3. Responses like this prove that you know nothing of which you speak . The Patriots have he best record SINCE 2006, but you can't explain that.

    Proves my point.

This is'nt about who has the best record Einstein. Why change the subject? What point are you proving?

    Heres your "facts"...

The Patriots were disciplined by the NFL for videotaping the Jets' defensive coaches' signals during a September 9, 2007 game from a sideline location, an act deemed by Roger Goodell to be in violation of league rules. After an investigation, the NFL fined Patriots head coach Bill Belichik $500,000 (the maximum allowed by the league and the largest fine ever imposed on a coach in the league's 87-year history) for his role in the incident, fined the Patriots $250,000, and docked the team their original first-round selection in the 2008 NFL draft which would have been the 31st pick of the draft. The fine garnered significant media attention for being the "maximum amount" an individual could be fined.

As part of their probe into the allegations, the NFL required the Patriots to turn over all notes and tapes relating to the taping of opponents' defensive signals. The Patriots complied with the order and the NFL "reviewed" and then destroyed the materials. On September 14, 2007 ESPN reported that Belichick had admitted to taping signals dating back to 2000. Belichick said he believed he was operating within the rules as long as the tape was not used during the same game.

  4. Please explain to me what the Patriots did that constitutes cheating. They video taped signals from the stands; that's it. They were never used in games; that's a fact.

Just what did the Patriots do that was so egregious? They violates Goodell's memo, that's what.

"They video taped signals from the stands; that's it."

    I think you covered it.

  5. I always love it when someone claims to speak for a large, diverse group like the entire NFL fanbase because then you know for a certainty they are full of crap.

I'm not a Pats' fan by any stretch of the imagination but I think the whole Spygate thing has been way overblown. The Patriots were two miracle plays by the Giants away from having two more rings so it's not as if they fell off a cliff after that.

    And then there were 2.....

  6. ROFL

Colt fans are so frequently delusional about Spygate. Clearly you have no idea what it's about.

Since then? Only the best record in the NFL and two SB visits.

Apparently the entire NFL fanbase is delusional about Spygate. Yea thats it, everybody else is wrong.

Instead of ROFL, stand up and look in the mirror. I think you might see what delusional really looks like....

  7. Yeah , the fan of a team that's won three, twice through Indy.

Indy has a great, great offense this year. I just don't trust that defense.

How many since busted for spygate?

Better yet, how many before they cheated the 3?

They won three out of the seven times they've appeared in the Super Bowl. They won 20-17 against the St. Louis Rams, 32-29 against the Carolina Panthers, and 24-21 against the Philadelphia Eagles. All during the spygate era...

They cheated and won by 3 points each time. Good thing Adam V saved the day huh?

BTW, I love your profile pic of the proud coward wearing jewelry he did'nt legitly earn...

  8. Living in Houston and watching the 14 draft I think we are looking at one heck of a new rivalry that may be better than the one with NE. When the Texans settle in with a QB the battle lines will be drawn. Believe it or not there fans here don't like the Colts. How can anyone not like the Colts you say? I cannot answer that. The 2014 Texans defense might just be painful to watch and even more painful to play against. I am looking forward to some great games.

They don't like the Colts because the Colts OWN THEM....

  9. Pathetic, desperate move by Grigson. Collie is back with the Patriots because they IR'd Boyce, and this happened last week.

Enjoy having a ridiculously slow WR who wasn't even in the same system when he was last with the Patriots.

Maybe he can give us some spygate pointers....
