  1. Why is the media pumping up Tebow like they're being paid to? He looks terrible. He seems to have no sense and only completed a few basic passes (1 good pass downfield) to scrape out a win against a winless Dolphins team. Tebow's throwing motion is the worst I've seen since Vince Young. Watch him when you get the chance. He literally drops his throwing arm down to his thigh as part of a wind-up motion. His accuracy is deplorable and he was a fail pick that Denver paid WAY too much for.

I've been wondering about the media's love affair with Tebow as well. They completely ignore the fact the win was against that superpower (not) Miami with that incredible 1-8 home record going back to last year.

  2. One thing I see is that their D can get better as the season goes on. They learned a new system at the beginning of the year. If they are doing this well early on, I shudder to think how good they can become. As for Johnson being out, years ago it might have been a blow, but this years team has an offensive that isn't built around one person. If they get some confidence, they will become the powerhouse of the division. Manning even if he comes back is aging and will quickly be on the downslide of his career. The Titans I don't see it happening.

I fear that it might be a while before we beat the Texans again.

  3. To be fair the D gets a lot of hate because the offense goes 3 and out so quickly every game especially in the Steelers game. The 2nd half of that Texans game the Colts D played really well forcing turnovers.

4-0, none of the teams we have played yet are considered great (Packers, Patriots, Saints etc.)

The ONLY reason the Colts played to well in the second half of the Texan game is because the Texans, not the Colts, let up. Unfortuantly the Colts are no longer a great team even with Manning.

  4. Sorry, at BEST, 3-1, probably 2-2 with Manning. At Houston, there is nothing to say he would have scored on those two drives, add in the fact Indy's D couldn't stop the Texans it is a loss. The Steeler game, IMO would have been close as well, very iffy. The problem is the Colts have way too many other problems that even Manning can't cover up.

  5. My friends and I were talking and I was hoping someone here could fill me in about Painter. If my info is correct, it's his third year with the team and they drafted him. Now we were wondering why he doesn't start seeing as he should have spent the last two years learning the offensive system in Indy. To me this is the time to use him otherwise he's been an expensive cheerleader. It doesn't show much confidence from the FO adn coaching staff that Painter is once more, a backup without even letting him try.
