Well to be fair, he is also the only player on the Colts defense who can tackle….

NFL refs seem to be getting worse… but is that because replays are getting better?
NFL definitely knows how to control games if they need to.

He has been terrible. He won’t ever be the same. It sucks to see.
I understand he needs time to recover and get back into it but I just don’t think he is going to be near the same player he was before.

Like others have said: Usually have symptoms of a concussion to be ruled out.Also the broadcasters were explaining that they take certain neurological and brain tests at the beginning of the season and those same tests are given any time there are symptoms of a concussion.
If those tests score differently from their beginning tests, the player is ruled out.

Richardson was solid week 1.
Interesting play designs were called.
At 43:00 he really goes in on Pittman being lazy and giving poor effort on 2 plays in a row.

Well if he continues to have ankle/back problems Colts would be smart to trade him.. He still hasn’t passed a physical apparently.

That is a good post. It helps some to better understand why the coaching staff made the decision that they did.
Preseason holds more value to some players than others.Starting veterans don’t need preseason games near as much as rookies or players trying to make the roster.
Remember, the ONLY thing that counts in preseason is experience. Risking health of your team in a almost meaningless game after they had two hard joint practices just doesn’t seem worth it to me. Especially when the Colts have shown they are made of glass.
Sure I think it would benefit Richardson some but 7-10 snaps probably isn’t going to change much in the long run if we are being honest.

I didn’t say the Colts were going to unload all their talent though….
I could see them trading someone in or nearing a contract year such as Kenny Moore.
People before this week were saying we should go out and be buyers and trade for Jeudy and other guys.
