Safety huge frame!!! DB huge frame!!! Now a LB/DE with a high motor. I know I know we need to protect Luck but I'm happy we are going defense. Now we need a LB then Oline and maybe a RB late no more WR pls Ballard

I like the pick defense I honestly don't care what position we draft as long as it's defense and Oline. Don't want another WR in the 1st round!! This pick will help our defense and it may seem ugly but it'll work. GJ Ballard and Pagano!!

Honestly Revis will be the last true shut down corner ever. The way NFL is now with offense and ticky tack calls on defense. There will never be another true shut down corner. So with that said he is too old and we need young tall DB!!

Can we bring in a duel threat in Adrian Peterson and Charles? With luck at the helm and those two backs wow can you imagine?

We need a new GM no in house. No one that learned from Grigson. What about maybe gruden was the GM irsay wanted and not as a HC?

Yes your dead on with that. Grigson first draft was great he hit on almost every single player. But what I meant is Grigson tried to reload in FA. We colts was in the top 5 teams in the NFL with a huge I mean a huge salary cap. And what did Grigson do sign a ton of horrible to average players at best to his team friendly contract. That's how Grigson destroyed this team!! And afternoon the first draft it was all down hill from there also!!

I would give Grigson the Santa clause BOOT!!! Grigson took a playoff team short of a couple players to go further and destroyed it by being too smart for his own good. Yes he gives out good contracts but to average players at best in FA!! And he also misses way way too much in the draft. Honestly Pagano needs to go too. Pagano is a great coordinator at best and that's it!

I appreciate your input and opinions as a colts fan. But to say we are close is something really far off!! Last year showed how the colts function without Luck. We can't have a team like this anymore. Houston has been through 7 franchise QB we went through 1 and we have 1 now. At least Houston can hang in there with top teams outside of the division with there defense. We need a new GM and HC. I love Pagano but his defense isn't working could be Grigsons fault! But I'm tired of Grigson drafting players that last 1-2 seasons then gets cut. Grigson destroyed this team. Grigson had a ton i means ton of salary cap to work with and he whiffed on all of them!!

Our most glaring need I know all colts nation agree. New HC and New GM. I say if Harbaugh doesn't win national title this year we can lure him away from Michigan. Let Harbaugh have control of the HC and GM needs. We need a true defense minded coach. Luck played for Harbaugh perfect for here. Michigan may not even make it to the playoffs because of last week lost to Iowa. Harbaugh will leave Michigan for the NFL espically if we have a QB in Luck.

Yup Grigson isn't going to offer a third for a top ten LB/DE. That's not the Grigson way. He would only do this deal if we gave up a 1st like we did for Trent. Plus Collins is to young for a guy lile
Grigson to trade for. He loves older FA that he thinks is good because of his smart football contracts given to them. Had Collins have the production and age as Trent Cole oh man Grigson would've been all over this trade.

You know this team is heading into chaos. Wait till A Rod comes in next week * about losing to Falcons in a close game. I don't blame the players on offense. Yes we dropped a ton of balls this year. But if you had a defense like the Colts do it's hard to go out and give it your all every play. Plus the WR probably like why try to get open when Luck gets hit in 2-3 seconds of the ball being snapped. This team is super bad this year. Peyton is a GOAT the more we see this team play the more I appreciate Peyton. Luck is not Peyton not even Brady can be like Peyton. So Luck can't mask this horrible team with his plays. Luck damn near has to have a perfect game every single game we play to even keep the game close. Irsay do us all a favor and fire Grigson and Pagano. We can let our rookies play rest of season to evaluate the team. Hire someone smarter then OLINE Grigson. For someone that use to be an Oline man he sure doesn't know how to look for them.

Breaking news today and guess what we're not in the conversation. Jamie Collins a hybrid LB/DE a T Suggs type of player we need for Pagano defense scheme. Clevland landed Collins for a third round pick. Grigson will now probably offer a 1st for him to clevland smartest GM in the NFL.

I'm surprised to see some people in here still backing up Grigson. Grigson had 4-5 years of signing FA that will help us get a ring. I'll name off some names he drafted and signed. Trent Ricky Jean Toler Werner Andre Johnson art jones cromartie right tackle from lions md the list goes on. Grigson had plenty of chances to get good FA but nope he out smarted himself paid for what he thought was average talent at a premium friendly team contract. Grisgson created the dream team part 2 what he failed to do when he was with the Eagles!

Well from here on out I see us winning every AFC south matchup. But outside the AFC south if we can't win mine as well just tank the season get a top 5 pick and get a LB pass rusher or even a DT DB Oline etc...

Grigson and lucks contract. Well guess what Grigson Luck was on 4 years of rookie contract and three out of the 4 he made the colts a playoff team. So blame all you want Grigson and please remember he just signed a new contract this year so irsay do your job get this dude out of here.

I ain't actually think it's easier to draft and sign FA to field a top ten defense easier then it is to find a good Oline. But I say about 5 years we should be contenders outside of the AFC south. By then Luck will be gone also not because of his football play but because of his injuries and he retires early. Then we will be like the ravens all defense no offense. But yeah if Grigson and Pagano gets fired at end of this season and we suck for whoever we need to suck for. Bench Luck for the year on a fake injury and let the back up QB start for the rest of the year get a top ten pick for the next 5 years on defense. Then bring Luck back into the picture.

Gore also came because of Pagano so don't feel to bad he chose here because of Miami ties with Pagano. But Grigson needs to go like now. Pagano end of the season can walk to. Grigson destroyed what this team had going. Yes he drafted Luck anybody would've. He found a great player in Hilton and that's it curtains closed. Grigson hard headed went after old FA players paid them friendly team contracts and everybody thought he was a genius. Well guess what none of his FA acquisitions worked none zero. Werner and Trent didn't work smith didn't work I can call out plenty of names. Ricky Jean and on and on. Fire Grigson leave Pagano till end of the season we should be able to pick in top ten. Wait till Luck is close to Peyton's age when he won the SB for us and we will be contenders like true contenders outside of the AFC South!

Yes it is water under the bridge. That draft year everybody on the draft forum all had Xavier on there draft list. Yes it's hindsight but that year Xavier graded out higher then Werner if it was a BPA thing. So it's Grigson who wanted to be a genius and draft a 4-3 end his whole college career to come play for us and be a DE/LB in a 3-4. We could've of drafted anyone even if it was a bust I wouldn't be complaining if that player we picked fit our system!! That's it plain and simple draft players that for your Offense and Defense System simple if it work it works if not then at least you tried Grigson and you tried it the right way!!

Well we cut players that are not performing yet Grigson doesn't have a single player on the squad that can replace them! Yes it's right to cut ties with bad players but then have a plan Grigson. lol Grigson is probably gonna go get Werner back to play DB. I wouldn't be surprised I mean he drafted Werner who was a clear 4-3 player to play in a 3-4 system so why not Grigson go get Werner to be your all pro DB we needed opposite of Davis!

Reggie Wayne is right. He was on the colts team when we started to rebuild the monster. Gotta trust in what he says I mean the man was on the football field locker room meetings etc.... Grigson got so much praise in his first year and then he got more praises because of his team friendly contracts in FA. Grigson misfired on so many FA it's crazy he still has a job. The Colts was top 5 in salary cap room we were top 5!!! We had a bunch of money to throw around and still had Luck on a rookie contract plus all of our other offensive rookies on cheap contract. We won 11-5 in Luck first year!! And what does Grigson do throw all that away because he thought he can get old below average players to play like they are all stars. Then he misfires on the draft I'm not talking about 1 or two picks but he completely ignores what Pagano needed and drafted players that fit his system last I checked Grigson is a GM so I'm not sure what system he runs in the front office.

I had us going 7-9 before the season started and I'll stick by it. Don't know what everyones expectations were though... if you thought this was a good team then I don't know what to tell you.
So you're fine with your prediction? You're happy with 7-9 you're happy with a late 1st rounder and maybe another 7-9 or 6-10 season? This team played a winless jag team they're due for a win but no in that manner bro we got outplayed in every damn category to the JAGS!!! I'm tired of seeing fans be okay with making the playoffs then get blown out and embarrassed. Why could teams like the Vikings/patriots win games without there QB? They have great GM who draft defense players that fit there scheme. GMs who actually are good at what they do on both sides of the ball! We will make the playoffs this year no matter what happens but then we will get blown out like usual or even if we keep the game close we still lose. Can't keep just saying oh well we got close we only loss by so much maybe next year the draft comes around and we improve our team then we will SB champs. Lol yeah year in year out I say think that not anymore Grigson stays on as GM we mine as well just have no hope!!

Man you hit it right on the head. Luck is way too nice. Luck Is the highest paid QB ever in the NFL. If you get paid this much you need to take control of your team but do it behind close doors not to the media. Luck needs to threaten Irsay Pagano and Grigson. Like fire our GM get me the players I need to be able to compete or trade me to a team that's willing to do that. Luck staying in Indy is what I want but don't want Lucks legacy to be destroyed because of a bad owner a horrible horrible GM and a players coach where players love you but don't want to play for you.

Please no not another player Grigson drafted. I hate the patriots but man that GM/coach knows exactly what they're doing. How do you win 3 game straight with a backup and a third stringer QB? Look at Minnesota last night on MNF how do you go undefeated with a QB that you signed two weeks ago? We had our chances at I think don't fact check me on this but we had a great chance at getting Xavier Rhodes.

This title is super duper funny!!! You can have Luck hand off to Adrian Peterson Jamal Charles in this case D cook or even mcaffry doesn't matter hell we can have ten elite RB on this team and stil not gain 1000 yard lol. Pls fix the Oline and the rest will fall into place. Elliot is a good RB notice I said GOOD he isn't elite not yet and only reason why Elliot and that QB from Mississippi did so well was because of that OLINE!!! You put both of them on our team and everybody on ESPN will say they're busts. So appreciate Luck for what he does with what talent we have on the Oline!!
