I'm not 100% in agreement that there aren't chemicals in it that aren't addictive but the behavior certainly can be. I've seen too many bright young individuals lives get sidetracked and ruined by this drug. There may not be a definitive ingredient that is addictive like nicotine or caffeine but when you know you have significant events and important financial matters on the line and you still don't stop doing the drug and we've seen so many examples of friends and family all the way down to these athletes it is clearly a behavior and lifestyle that is very very hard to break.

By the way that had nothing to do with the topic...I think there are significant amount of teams that passed on Foster due to his medical issues. Nobody knows exactly but there is enough evidence on LB needy teams passing on him and even taking other LBs ahead of him that he was significantly rated ahead that we can assume enough teams thought his medical was an issue.

Those who can't give it up are just *s. It's as simple as that. I smoked every single day from age 18 to 24, decided I didn't want to go the management route in a grocery store so quit smoking without a problem and joined the military. I see smoking weed simply as a hobby, but now I have drug tests so I know not to smoke now.

Yes and no. He did say they'd only "dabble" in free agency, then proceeded to sign the most free agents in the history of the franchise. He also said he would go strictly BPA in the draft, but I feel like outside of the first 2 rounds, there were better players on the board than the guys that were drafted.

Neither of those particular things bother me, as I'm happy with the results of both, but it's enough to convince me not to expect Ballard to tip his hand in press conferences and radio interviews.

How do you know what BPA is? That's an opinion. Maybe in CB opinion he did go BPA.

You trust him because he's a Colt now, and it's out of your control. So you naturally believe someone with experience will do a good job. He has to earn my trust by showing he can do a good job. He's never even done a draft and you trust him, that just shows how gullible you are. I have standards, and I said in my post, I'd give him the chance to earn my trust. He has 0 experience doing drafts. Of course I don't trust him yet.

I'm not gullible, I'm just always optimistic about something new, it's his first draft at the lead but he doesnt have zero experience with the draft.

I'm just not a fan of the BPA strategy. So if the best player available was a qb, hypothetically, we take him??? I just don't like that strategy, personally. But I still trust Ballard. He seems like he knows what he's doing.

Come on man, obviously he's not going to take a qb, besides none of these qbs are going to be BPA.

The problem is, I don't trust him, plain and simple. I know nothing about how he drafts, and even less about what positions he excels at scouting. He did well at FA, but that's a different animal from the draft. He has to earn my trust, and he can with a great draft, but I have to see it first, and Ballard is the guy I wanted as GM.

That's a terrible attitude and it's a problem of the world today. I trust him because he was hired for a reason, just like i trusted grigson when he was hired. People should have to lose your trust in my opinion not earn it. How can you respect someone if you can't trust them?

  6. No we have not.  James was drafted in 1999, and Addai was drafted in 2006 so if you include Richardson that only makes 2 in the last 9 years.  Don't forget to mention that 2 of the draft picks worked out.  Only one of them was a complete failure.

Come on dog, you forgot about Donald Brown?

  7. Andrew Nooooo!!!!!

He's gonna make you injury prone, stay away from him!!!!!!!!

    :reaction:

Your joking right? This is the dude we want Andrew luck to be like, a champion and one if the most clutch players to ever play, and your not injury prone when you get an injury at the end of your career
