Yes and no. He did say they'd only "dabble" in free agency, then proceeded to sign the most free agents in the history of the franchise. He also said he would go strictly BPA in the draft, but I feel like outside of the first 2 rounds, there were better players on the board than the guys that were drafted.
Neither of those particular things bother me, as I'm happy with the results of both, but it's enough to convince me not to expect Ballard to tip his hand in press conferences and radio interviews.
How do you know what BPA is? That's an opinion. Maybe in CB opinion he did go BPA.

Quincy a project? wth you talkin bout, cause he can't tackle? A corner is a project cause his tackling isn't his great strength? Who wants a corner where there great strength is tackling? I want someone who can cover which he can.

CB doing great job, hitting all areas of need with players we like.

And you know Florida knows how to produce corners

The safety is the last line of defense. Isn't much good if he can't tackle.
So he doesn't need to be a stellar tackler because the front seven should be doing that, he jus needs to take the ball out of the air.

You trust him because he's a Colt now, and it's out of your control. So you naturally believe someone with experience will do a good job. He has to earn my trust by showing he can do a good job. He's never even done a draft and you trust him, that just shows how gullible you are. I have standards, and I said in my post, I'd give him the chance to earn my trust. He has 0 experience doing drafts. Of course I don't trust him yet.
I'm not gullible, I'm just always optimistic about something new, it's his first draft at the lead but he doesnt have zero experience with the draft.

I'm just not a fan of the BPA strategy. So if the best player available was a qb, hypothetically, we take him??? I just don't like that strategy, personally. But I still trust Ballard. He seems like he knows what he's doing.
Come on man, obviously he's not going to take a qb, besides none of these qbs are going to be BPA.

The problem is, I don't trust him, plain and simple. I know nothing about how he drafts, and even less about what positions he excels at scouting. He did well at FA, but that's a different animal from the draft. He has to earn my trust, and he can with a great draft, but I have to see it first, and Ballard is the guy I wanted as GM.
That's a terrible attitude and it's a problem of the world today. I trust him because he was hired for a reason, just like i trusted grigson when he was hired. People should have to lose your trust in my opinion not earn it. How can you respect someone if you can't trust them?

You would have a harder time trading him in madden then in real lifeI agree with you on that.
Why the hell would you trade a player who's working just fine and cheaply in your system... some people need to put the madden game away....

I see us going 6-0 again, 3 blow out games and 3 close games but luck being clutch qb closing it out for us.

There's nothing to doubt. It's objectively true.
Guess we'll see this coming season

Paea is significantly better.
Doubt it

Sweet man I'm all for getting some new peeps

Obviously cribs, he didn't lose a Super Bowl for us

Thas why we signed Langford

Finally someone who knows what their talkin bout

I like how everyone complains how grigs keeps overspending, yet were sitting with one of the highest cap spaces, how does that work?
-
No we have not. James was drafted in 1999, and Addai was drafted in 2006 so if you include Richardson that only makes 2 in the last 9 years. Don't forget to mention that 2 of the draft picks worked out. Only one of them was a complete failure.
Come on dog, you forgot about Donald Brown?
-
Andrew Nooooo!!!!!
He's gonna make you injury prone, stay away from him!!!!!!!!
Your joking right? This is the dude we want Andrew luck to be like, a champion and one if the most clutch players to ever play, and your not injury prone when you get an injury at the end of your career
-
Now add all that back to their roster plus the addition of ware, ward, and talib and tell me the broncos shouldn't be favorites, not
To mention whoever they draft
-
People really forget jus how many injuries the broncos had because they still did so well, their starting LT clady, both Starting DTs Wolfe and vickerson, starting OLB Von miller, lost their number one corner at the end Harris, their starting center, and I think one of their starting safeties was out

The ability to check down and throw to that running back , i saw havili open several times that coulda been easy first downs from yac

He's toooooo slow

Those who can't give it up are just *s. It's as simple as that. I smoked every single day from age 18 to 24, decided I didn't want to go the management route in a grocery store so quit smoking without a problem and joined the military. I see smoking weed simply as a hobby, but now I have drug tests so I know not to smoke now.
