  1. The most obvious example, really, given the thread topic. The guy who was one stop from being out of the league when we brought him in, thrown away by the Pats (a team that LOVES taking underperforming players and milking more out of them), and now he has a market in free agency. One person calls him "irreplaceable," which I don't agree with, but he's obviously played better and is more valuable than he was two and a half years ago.

But that can't be credited to Pagano. No way.

Yea obviously Pagano had nothing to do with it, it must be the water lol  :sarcasm:

  2.  After 3 years who has he developed here?

Uhh Vontae Davis from bottom of the depth chart in miami to top 5 corner (he was mostly character issues but still), Greg Toler from out in Arizona and not playing well at all his first year here to a solid #2 this year, and Darius Butler from being out in NE and a bust to a solid slot corner that everyone in this forum would prefer to keep.

  3. Going to my first Colts game and first nfl game on November 3rd in New York. Gonna see my Colts take on the Giants on monday night, so pumped. im in section 301 never been to metlife anyone know if those seats are good?

  4. After the Luck superman touchdown against the chiefs the TV broadcast had a zoomed in/under shot on Luck and the stadium was playing Its My Life by Bon Jovi and Luck was walking out of the endzone looking all calm as his teammates were jumping around just as the song hit the climax, it was just such a surreal moment and the adrenalin was going that it just gave me chills. Thats the moment ill never forget, ill tell the sorry to my future kids of when the future HOF i watched as an 18 year old kid got his first playoff win in the greatest comeback ever, my kids will be colts fans lol. I love football, come back lol.

  5. Which part would you like to dispute?

The Colts were a 10-6 playoff team in 2010. Lost Manning and went 2-14. Then Pagano/Grigson get hired, draft Luck, and it's back to 10+ wins. Are you insinuating that the Colts going from 10 wins to 2 wins in one season wasn't because of Manning's injury?

The Colts were a 10-6 team that year because of peyton manning, without him that year we would have been .500 or below. The point is Pagano/Grigson didn't inherit a good team, they came to a team filled with holes that manning was able to cover up, then in the 2-14 year when we lost him and some other guys we sucked. So the new regime started over basically, we just got lucky and were able to draft a great qb, and also added a lot of good pieces. dont forget Grigson and pagano drafted Dwayne Allen and Vick Ballard in later rounds, both of whom showed potential before injury, he also drafted some unknown wr called TY Hilton.

  6. I dont get how people on this forum want Pagano and Grigson fired, we went 11-5 in our first two years with this regime after going 2-14. Most teams who go 2-14 dont do that, especially with the talent level and lack of veterans and returning players. people forget all the holes this team had until we went 2-14, it takes a good front office to change an organization around like that, and we underwent a major change. People are spoiled, we expect perfection, we should count ourselves lucky that were not a 8-8 team. Alot of that success falls as much on Pagano and Grigson as it does on Luck.

  7. Priority Resigning:

    Vontae Davis, CB

    Antoine Bethea, S

    Pat McAfee, P

    Donald Brown, RB

    Free agent signings:

    Alex Mack, C or  Evan Dietrich-Smith, C

Roger Saffold, T/G (he was a tackle that transitioned to guard last year and played very well, very versatile) or Geoff Schwartz, or Jon Asamoah, G (one or both of these guys will leave KC, id prefer Schwartz, but Asamoah is young and should be cheap) in that order

Andre Roberts, WR (no harm in giving him a deal similar to DHB)

Rashad Jennings, RB (last resort if we do not keep Brown or Bradshaw and have no plans on drafting someone else)

    Sam Shields, CB

    Walter Thurmond, CB

    Lamarr Houston, DE

    Linval Joseph, DT

    Draft:

    RD 2- Allen Robinson, WR

    RD 3- Shayne Skov, LB

    RD 5- Kenneth Ladler, S

    RD 6- Deandre Coleman, DT

    RD 7- Zach Fulton, G

Let me know what you guys think

  8. im starting to think that the coaching staff has never heard of adjusting, same mistakes and bad play calling every week. We play terrible the first half, adjust at half time, usually comeback in the second half and win. But then the next week it seems like were doing the same things we did the previous week in the first half, its like the game plan is the same every week, and we only adjust on the fly at halftime. Same coaching and player error every week its getting real old and frustrating.

  9. we need to do something asap about the oline and wide receivers we are gonna get luck seriously injured and we cant rely on TY to do everything on recieving side of the ball, dont know what options are available now since the trade deadline has past, Whalen doesnt seem like a long term option along with DHB getting injured and consistently dropping passes and the line was put on blast

  11. one guy i think we missed out on was Chase Thomas OLB from Stanford, he went undrafted and signed by the Saints. This would have been a much better pick at 254 then Cunningham. If you read his analysis (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2013/profiles/chase-thomas?id=2539314) they say hes a smart strong edge rusher who can play at DE and OLB who can rush the qb on the edge, play the run, has good coverage skills and can effectively blitz across the line. I think he would have been a great late round pick or we should have at least made a play on him after the draft.

  12. I didn't know much about him so I looked into him more and watched more tape....That's a BAAAAAAD MAN right there......He would take the #1 and Ballard would be #2, and Donald Brown can go to the CFL where he belongs..Still rather have Lacy though.

I also really like Michael i think he would be a great addition and create alot of versatility in the run and pass game, but if we do get him and i hope that we do i think he would be the #2 behind ballard and have a smaller role at first with ballard taking 75% of the snaps because Michael does have injury probs and disciple issues, look it up, but i hope we get him and after time him and ballard can split snaps evenly.
