  1. I was happy with the signing and still am.

Harnish is only going to improve more by having Hasslebeck on the team, it's not like having Hasslebeck at number 2 is negatively impacting him.

If some view it as a problem, then it's a pretty good problem to have.

I'd just be annoyed if Harnish got cut and another team picked him up (even tho he is still unproven).

  2. Scooter just curious-- where in Australia do you live? I spent a semester in Brisbane and had the time of my life. I'm a Lions and Reds fan after my time there :D

Those two teams definitely make sense considering where you were, don't think you would be allowed to support anyone else!

I'm from down in Melbourne, which, in our opinion, is the best city in Australia

  3. Get the tickets as early as you can.

Enjoy seeing Indiana.  If you like hiking there are some good state parks I could recommend for that.  And I know a really good winery in Southern Indiana I always like to visit when I go down that way.  (Which isn't very often)

Other then that, Indianapolis is where most of the cool stuff is in this state.  Most of the rest of the state is farmland with some towns and a couple of small cities.

What else are you doing when you get to the states?

Me and a mate are just doing a bit of a sporting holiday, so I said I have to go to LOS, whereas he wants to make sure he goes to an Eagles home game. So it is a 4 week sporting holiday, with a couple of weeks spent in NYC

  4. As a Colts fan living here in Australia, I've always wanted to attend a Colts home game. I put in my leave for the next financial year, and set aside a 4 week block to travel to America for sports.

The one Colts home game during that time?

Colts v Broncos. Wow. Incredibly excited at that prospect, but incredibly nervous at the prospect of there not being any tickets available!

(I know it's not much of a topic, but I wanted to post it because I'm excited :goodluck:

  5. I wonder how close we got to picking up Mike Jenkins last offseason. If memory serves, we were pretty dang close and Dallas was asking too much.  With the arrival of Morris Claiborne, they may not be asking as much this time around.

Definitely excited to see the work Grigs can do with a big stash of cash.

Btw, when does the FA signing period start?

  6. What really made that situation harsh was that we had only a few hours to plan for the contingencies. If we knew even the day before, things may have been way better. But a few hours? Like....how do you even approach such a thing?

Arians was the glue that bonded us through 2012. His absence was crucial to the listless offensive performance we witnessed. I believe the drops etc were a distraction from the sterile playcalling. A lot of folks didn't even notice how bad it was.

I agree with this 100%. As soon as I heard that BA was in hospital I had a bad feeling about the game.

Couldn't believe that we had another challenge like that thrown at us. It felt like the playcalling was asking the rookies to do a bit too much.

  7. I'm super excited for this offseason as well.

I think that we have done a good job of showing Indy as a team on the rise, where players know that there are plenty of opportunities up for grabs. FA's for struggling teams will have a good long look at coming here.

The fact that FA's know that there is money to work with sure does help as well.

  8. The prospect of playing Denver is a little terrifying. They have a terrific defence who could potentially abuse our o-line.

Peyton will surely test just how much Vontae Davis has improved in the second half of the year!

I wouldn't be devastated if we lost, I just want to make sure we get at least 1 playoff win!
